    You handled my three time denied claims and i was awarded 100% with 70% on PTSD and 40% on bladder cancer from camp lejeune and 60 back problems from combat in Vietnam. Now I'm asking for aid and attendance as I'm now paralyzed from back problems and being rescheduled for a CNP on PTSD and orthopedic Cnp I have many questions and will call soon. Fuel exposure is more locations than just at one Marine base, as a jet mech and it was in our fresh water system all the time on my Carrier.

    In 67' I fell off a duce and a 1/2 and was treated for a neck injury and went on. In 97' I fell down a set of concrete steps, reaggravated the neck, and had a back injury. The back injury was service-connected. I have had at least 3 C & P exams. all were denied. However, the firstC & P results did state that I

    It's worth filing even at 100% if you see yourself living overseas. From what reading I've done, VA will only cover service connected disabilities if the veteran lives overseas, in which to include VA Philippines

    I am trying to get approved for lower back pain and I can’t stand up for no longer than 10 minutes and a nerve in my lower back that I injured on the USS America-CV 66

    • @shepatown
      @shepatown ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've hit my head and strained my back trying to avoid hitting my head so many times on carriers. I was on CV-66 as well. Find the inservice medical record, take it to your doctor and have them write a nexus letter (the rationale for the service connection) for you. Bring a sample nexus letter for them to follow the format and it will speed up the composition of the letter. That's what I did. My Dr. really appreciated seeing the supporting documentation. Also, don't forget those conditions that are secondary to the back condition, like nerve pain down legs, hip pain, knee pain from altered gait, foot pain from altered gait, arthritis, depression, insomnia from pain, hypertension from weight gain from inability to exercise due to the back condition, possible fragmented sleep problems leading to sleep apnea due to high bmi from inability to exercise due to the back condition, IBS, GERD from the meds for the back condition, etc.

    I’m glad my Va did me justice. However, that was 26 years ago. TDIU. Hats off to the VA.🫡

    Wow, glad to hear that multiple claims can be done at the same time. I was thinking old school of only 1 at a time. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Thanks for the info 👍🏻

    I had paid off my SSB ( a reduction in forces retirement ) the VA were not able to link it from DFAS ( my military retirement pay) - VA wrote me and said I owed money - the VA is very frustrating

    you girls rock!! outstanding video BTW I have a two part question.. I was granted 70% from depressive disorder due to previous claims , headaches which puts me at 90% disability rate what is the likelihood of VA reducing my rate ( the 70% of the one claim) based on seeing many youtubers talking about va reducing rates? And how can I obtain my rating code sheets to see if my disabilities are static or permanent? thank you and sorry for this long question.

    unless you're a veteran living in the Philippines. The VA will only provide care for what you have service connected, unlike in the states.

    I have service connection, 20% for a left bicep tendon rupture. That happened during a parachute jump where my left arm got wrapped up in a static line. I have about 60-70% normal use but definitely not the arm strength or endurance prior to injury. Over I problems with right my shoulder due to over comoensating for left arm. Should I file secondary to the left bicep injury, and will the bilateral factor come into play?

    Why did they combine “asbestosis to include sleep apnea”. I thought they were both different symptoms

    Hill and Ponton was my representation with my VA appeal and claims sense 2017.
    Lack of communication
    Constant lawyer changes
    Illegal fees charged to veterens
    I recommend trying other resources . She comes off as nice but her office is incompetent.

    Sleep apnea with overweight and higher BMI seem to be denied. Almost with copy and paste verbiage on multiple veterans. The C & P examiner and raters seem to be anti veteran friendly. It is so frustrating!

    • @lg7728
      @lg7728 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You should send the VA medical literature stating that nonobese and non-overweight people can also have sleep apnea.

    Attorney's who claim to help veteran's should function more like a workers compensation attorney and not play reactionary agent's. They know that the beaurcratic administration of the VA is completely adversarial from the top down, which is completely anti-veteran military service. Workers compensation Attorney's get the job done, and move very proficiently.
