Instead of each individual guest having a personality even a social Media style of messaging system where you could read comments or reviews about your parks. Example a dinosaur died in an exhibit you could read a comment about someone responding to it, or reading “ A carnivore killed a herbivore, 10 / 10 park”.

I had no idea J park had twisters! My cousin and I spent my entire spring break almost playing it (his spring break was a week before mine) When 10 year old me finally got my own copy of the game. Then finally had the patients to build up my first successful park. The exact same way my cousin did. (He's 5 years older than me, I think) I was transferring dinos. From the hatchery enclosure to their exhibit. Thought I had the tranq gun but had the rifle instead. Accidentally killed my brand new dinos. Causing all my guests to leave in terror, there by forcing me into foreclosure. Despite all that its still one of my favorite games.
I'd also personally add sleep as an actual need for dinos instead of it being basically an idle animation like it is now, as well as them being able to poop. As gross as it may be, it could add another layer of management via waste management, or just passively exist as it did in JPOG. Either way, it would help the dinos feel even more like actual creatures.
I believe another thing JPOG has over Evolution is, well, presentation. The Park buildings in JPOG look stunning. All of the buildings also nail the JP esthetic. Whereas the buildings in Evolution 2, even with the customization options, still follow a set block pattern. It's hard to give your buildings character. A Restaurant and Gift shop look the same from afar. You have to get a close look to identify them. The buildings just need more personality in Evolution 2
IMO, JWE2 could learn from JPOG's dino AI system. JPOG's AI felt more responsive in many ways despite being flawed itself. Dinosaurs reacted faster to each other's presence as if they were real animals. I sometimes get taken completely out of immersion when I see my Rex walk right up to a prey species who hasn't acknowledged his presence yet and just stands around for 10 seconds before finally reacting and running away. Carnivores also had a hunt need back in JPOG which meant that when it was low, they wouldn't hunt at all. Sometimes JWE2 carnivores go on killing sprees for no apparent reason, and end up slaughtering multiple prey animals instead of just focusing one of them together. If Frontier could fix this, it would be a massive help for the game.
Man even just something as minor as the sound design did so much for JPOG. The hatchery themes and just placing the buildings/placing paths all had a fun and satisfying sound.
Half of these I agree that these features should be brought in JWE2. Or even be in another JP/JW game like it's predecessors. Like the Island generation, twisters and each individual guest's info. It would be a cool combination of combining both JPOG's gameplay and mechanics with JWE(2) modern graphics, gameplay, and other stuff. It would be like the ultimate Jurassic Park/World experience. Or another Zoo/Park building game we'll love to see and play or something.
Cows, we need cows in JWE 2, i really want to see the Carnivores interaction with the cows, also it would make more sense for huge theropod like the T.rex, the Giganotosaurus, the Indominus Rex, the Spinosaurus, etc go after a larger prey, in this case the cows instead of the tiny goats, also it would be more exciting to see how they hunt the cows ;)
Havent seen the video but a big thing is the sound design for me. i can still remember the sounds of the game to this day. The sound when you click on the menus, when you place down a fence, the feeders opening up, laying down paths, noises of each dino, all the ambient sounds, the SOUNDTRACK.
The first 15 seconds of this video really hit hard for me. I remember way back in my senior year, i would watch BestinSlot all the time, and it would mainly be his JPOG videos. I haven't watched him in quite a while, but this video was interesting looking, so I clicked on it, and after hearing what he said right at the beginning of the video, I was taken back big time.
The JPOG nostalgia! Definitely some little details it'd be nice to see carried over, interesting to think about. Thank you for the link to the soundtrack!!
I'd like it if JWE2 had a Site B mode; you create your own island (no paths, no fences, no buildings - except hatcheries & maybe feeders) and you'd populate it with various Dinosaurs & other creatures. Also wish that JWE2 had that amazing dinosaur concept art by Lloyd Chidgzey
If I could add just one feature to Evolution 2 it would be the ability to control a human character on the ground in first or third person. Imagine if you could actually visit your park as a guest and potentially be killed during a breakout. I don't think it would even be that hard to implement, given that you can already control vehicles on the ground.
It’s very sad to me that we probably won’t ever get a complete nublar to edit, but it would be nice to have personalized islands and maybe a mini nublar like the size of like 4-6 big Square maps. If they don’t add something like that on the 3 I probably won’t buy it.
One thing when I first played JPOG and got irritated about then and I laugh about now is it never give the island you build. It always gives you a random one around the same landmass. One time I played I had built a square map with a nice lagoon for the prebuilt and with loads of trees. Though when I got into the game it was a circle map with no lagoon and very little trees. It was always something I would laugh about, but at the beginning of playing it I got very irritated with it and having to delete the save and go back to get one that was close to what I wanted. Also something I would love to see added to JWE2 is water depth changes and swimming mechanics for dinosaurs. It not something from JPOG but it’s something I’ve wanted to see since the first game. It would be cool to be able to build bridges and make deeper rivers as barriers or just new territory and environments to build for your dinosaur exhibits.
I think you got a but unlucky there, cause I always got approximately what I asked for in JPOG (Tho I have also had that happen before as well). As for JWE2, I don't see swimming Dinosaurs happening. I've said this before with the Lagoons, but they would probably have to make modifications to the game engine to allow that, and from experience that might only be possible in a sequel.
I kinda wish they would incorporate the large carnivores Carrying the smaller herbivores in their mouth before they finish them off. And you can see the smaller herbivore, like struggling for a moment. (I’m not a sick f*ck lol .) I just felt that that was like really an immersive touch in JPOG
If I could choose one thing, it would be the music. Just adding JPOG music to JWE2 would perfect the game, in my opinion. It was the first music to make me cry, goddamnit. I don't need this as much as SpongeBob doesn't need water!
i really want the JW: Fallen Kingdom Brachiosaurus head design variant model to be in the game so bad and it'll be really awesome if we get a special tree where Brachiosaurus can approach to it and eat from it as it stands on its two rear legs.
Ideas I wish for: Actual free range animals outside of sandbox, JPOG allows certain animals to be free range, meaning they are no threat to your park guests. Another idea, an actual Site B, or atleast in JWE2, maybe a sort of national park that is considered as 'nearby', no fences and sort, the animals are wild, do what they normally do. Animal enrichment, a zoo game, the animals are the focus, and trust me when I say this, animals do quite a bit more. Animal shelters, to many times my smallest dinos are harmed on sandy maps, to many times do my raptors panic, shelters/barrows can sort of increase the comfort, heck it can help control where the animal will move, like have a shelter that attaches to a fence and guests can see them. Dino riding like from Jurassic world movie. River tours from Jurassic world movie. Another thing, more human and animal interaction that doesn't involve someone getting killed, what if you can have one or two animals trained to sort of help prevent casualties, they wont boost security nor comfort since well, obvious reasons. Since your on the mainland, I would like the idea of certain maps can cause certain wild animals to wander into your park, how did the moose get into the raptor enclosure? Who knows, moose is now dinner.
I remember holding the JPOG PS2 box in my hands on the car ride home from the shops and my eyes were transfixed on the cover art - it was a dream concept of a game and still is in many ways
Jurassic Park Operation GENESIS ' ONE OF my favourite NOSTALGIC memeries! Remember who many park I bulid back in the Playstation 2 area. With all that said " Jurassic World Evolution 3" Perfect mix between of Jurassic world Evolution 2 and Jurassic park operation GENESIS " Exclusive to Playstation 5, Xbox Serius X and PC! Having to work on Playstation 4 and Xbox one are what holding Jurassic Evolution 2 back.
Great ideas - I would love an airborne tour to come back as well. It is surprising, though, to consider how many JPOG features have ended up in JWE2. Paleo trees and viewing domes seem like direct callbacks to JPOG.
I think the guest info worked because you obly had a max of 100 guests (unless you changed the game file). In JWE you have 10,000+ guests in your park so having an individual bio for them all would be hard. I think maybe a review section might work better like a guest feedback and comments on certain things. If you put a herbivore in with some carnivores to hunt you could get a review like "I went to see the t rex and watched them hunt a Gallimimus, it was amazing" or " I watched the mosossurus feeding show and got splashed with water"
Like, maybe have a social media section for the management that gives us something similar. Like a Twitter analog that has tweets that have randomized messages based on what the people want/feel based on the information the graphs provide.
I liked when a dino passed away it gradually decomposed and showed it, I loved it and that also other meat eaters would frequent it to grab a snack, just dont like how its done in JWE2 like yeah they fight but they never do anything after and it has no visual effect of degrading... its a pet peev lol
@quinnnewman2618 you do understand that JPOG showed bones, albeit low quality for the time. You'd also see it happening faster as other meat eaters snacked on it. This I know does not happen in JWE 1 or 2 at least not on the same level.
It really is odd that the twisters don't do any harm to living things in JWE or JWE2... They can rip holes through fences, destroy buildings.... but they don't actually pose any threat to dinosaurs or guests. Definitely makes opening the guest shelters less necessary, and it certainly seems weird that they're not a threat to dinosaurs, either. Do I want my dinosaurs to get thrown across the map and die? No. But that's precisely why it should be possible.
The main thing I’ve always been able to go back to JPOG for compared to JWE is music. I do think that especially with the dynamic music JPOG had with things like storms and breakouts, the incorporation of movie soundtracks while still having some originality, and the very distinct “Jurassic Park” sound it all has are some of the reasons. But I think me liking the music comes from a bigger reason of how JPOG is kind of a time capsule in a way. It was the one of the last big things to come out in the “Jurassic Park” era that started in the 90’s and continued even after JP3 in 2001, ending finally in 2015. So with that context, it really feels even more like a product of its day and distinctly Jurassic Park. That’s not an inherent benefit for it, or an inherent disadvantage for the JWE games. It’s just how it is because of time. But it does make going back a refreshing and nostalgic experience for those who have fond memories of that era before Jurassic World.
Island Generations is key for a Jwe3, the map felt bigger in jpog because of perspective, when all you have is usable area it feels like you are using all the potential of the land you are given by the game.
Soundtrack for me. Probably the most difficult one to do because copyright. JWE and E2 just doesn't match it imo. Some people edit in JPOG's music in their videos and it makes JWE2 a better game.
Everything you mentioned in this sounds pretty perfect. The nostalgia of JPOG will never get old. JWE2 is almost perfect but the guests always irked me. They feel like bots more than actual guests, i wish they were more in-depth like they were in JPOG. The balloon ride is also one thing i wish would make a comeback.
Cleaning stations with workers walking around the park cleaning as it gets dirty and trash cans to help keep the park clean. Guest fatigue so you will need to provide benches and rest areas for large parks. I played JPOG on the PS 2 and only had three dig sites. I actually preferred it that way.
Feel like a lot of the dinosaur skins look a lot better in Operation Genesis e.g. Carcharadontosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus ...and the Spinosaurus actually sounded like the spino from JP3
Interesting! I hope that we will also get "paleo-accurate" cosmetics on most, if not every extinct animal for the game, like we got for the feathered T. rex (even if there's some inaccuracies). :D
Island builder in JWE2 would be crazy, having mountians you have to build around ! Or even being able to set how many or how much natural lagoon space you want !
I would like guest fatalities to actually matter. In JPOG it could ruin you if you had a movie-style multi fatality incident. In JWE, your safety rating temporarily goes down. You can kill hundreds of guests and recover from it pretty quick. It's Jurassic Park; prevention of guest death by dinosaur should be the whole point!
I used dino mustering in challenge mode with researchable tranqs. Rabid Nasuto broke out and after heling her (with tranq on lvl 2) i had to muster her into the pen.
These are all great points in favour of JPOG for sure. There is one thing I also would wanna highlight that JPOG did better than JWE2, and that is predator hunting behaviour and how that played out, having the predators have a chance to fail makes it much more exciting to watch and also the unlocked combat with combative herbivores was interesting too, albeit a bit jank. I think with modern technology they could not only emulate this but expand it to even more advanced dinosaur behaviour with under-the-hood stats like animal stamina, special relationships etc..
Hey bestinslot but do you think you could also ask if they can add sauropods going up on the home likes to either defend them selves or each other up on top of trees
This was the game that brought me to the chanel with the yearly playthroughs. It's flawed but that's what what mskes it flawless. It's a genuine game and the most nostalgic one for me
JPOG is a classic. I have played many of hours of JWE over the past few years but I don't think there will ever be a game I have played more than JPOG.
The music is a really major part that made JPOG enjoyable for me. I still remember being disappointed with the JWE soundtrack. Not even the main JP theme was used that much
That's why I love Evolution so much and why when first trailer for first game was released I wanted it bad because I never played Operation Genesis, but I wanted to
As someone who quite unbelievably to myself, didn’t ever play Jpog so I can’t really comment on a lot. But the guest AI and the soundtrack would be the main ones for me and probably the easiest to improve. All I want are guests to be able to bloody sit down on tables lol or at least have a decoration with a guest permanently fixed to the table/chair like the mods. It’s very weird that they don’t! Also does anyone seem to remember how in JWE1 some guests randomly got very excited and jumped up and down when they noticed a dinosaur…. Lol I’m sure that doesn’t happen in JWE2. And the soundtrack… not sure why there is no official music? Are universal being awkward assholes about it or something??! The game would be so much more epic with just some official music in it 😬
We should be able to rescue our guest in JWE2, the fact that frontier just making every vehicle in the game just disappear after it's getting destroyed by dinosaur along with guest inside of it instead of adding more animation for guest to run away and escape is so disappointing
Listen, all I want fromtier to do is to disable the bounding boxes toggleable for sandbox, that way we can build anything we want rather than have to download a mod for it.
I'm personally glad that JWE2 doesn't individually simulate guests. I don't miss the annoying ai issues present with JPOG visitors struggling to take care of themselves, and I don't think the payoff is worth the extra performance load of keeping track of 4,000 guest's decisions and thoughts. To me it's not a worthwhile feature.
In Jurassic world evolution 3 we need this stuff the hot air balloons more rides like roller coasters and swings allowed to see people’s thoughts age personality ect
I was incredibly disappointed by Evolution in comparison to OG. The micro-management, island creation, depth of guests, Dinosaur pheromone deterrents and attractors, and the dino's even Decay - which was my biggest disapointment as the new one's didn't even add that as an option.
We need semi aquatic dinosaurs or dinosaurs being able to swim and not just stand on water, kelp forests, seaweeds maybe, more water vegetation, more vegetation custom builds
JWE 1 & 2 lack individuality, since it's so free with SANDBOX, where most of us waste our playing making it stagnant and the game is predictable, Though we can tinker the setting but still.
I like your idea but this some idea you’re taking this not impossible because this game no design for us looking for guest detail and i move on for JPOG long time ago and JWE2 they do it to the best is they can
for a site b mode, it should have a breeding mechanic where dinosaurs find a mate and reproduce. i dont find the asexual reproduction aspect of jp's dinosaurs that interesting for gameplay, i want genders and have males and females play different roles from each other like the males being more aggressive and want to fight for rights to mate, and the females being caring mothers and so on, just like how animals irl act. i love the idea of the cycle of life in site b mode.
@@The_Primitive I'm not sure if you seen the video that goes over the cut content from Operation Genesis but we were suppose to have gotten both genders in the game as well as breeding.
Steal? No the game should just have been a complete rip off with updated graphics + added content. The first game was so watered down just to justify a sequel, JWE2 is also watered down to justify a third sequel. Piracy is morally correct.
There are also other park builder games it could have taken from, specially for park managment. They also could have done a better job adapting aspects from the films, like for example breakouts are just annoying rather than the events they should be. Btw regarding guests, consider JWE2 works on a larger scale, if they were to be as complex as JPOG or ZT2 guests on an individual level they would severely affect the performance.
Yeah you’re right. All I’d be happy with now is just guests to actually sit down on tables or if that’s not possible to have a decoration with a guest permanently fixed to a chair / table like the mods. It just looks so weird having empty tables throughout your park!
Instead of each individual guest having a personality even a social Media style of messaging system where you could read comments or reviews about your parks. 10/10 my son got eaten
Yes or reviews on the park that would be managed through the specific person group on the management page.
"my wife got eaten and the burgers are delicious 10/10 park"
Gotta pay bots to hide the trex escape from people’s x timelines.

Ideas I wish for:
Actual free range animals outside of sandbox, JPOG allows certain animals to be free range, meaning they are no threat to your park guests.
Jurassic Park Operation GENESIS '
ONE OF my favourite NOSTALGIC memeries!
Remember who many park I bulid back in the Playstation 2 area.
With all that said "
Jurassic World Evolution 3"
Perfect mix between of Jurassic world Evolution 2 and Jurassic park operation GENESIS "
Exclusive to Playstation 5, Xbox Serius X and PC!
The guests in JWE2 need more personality like in JPOG.
Add the cows, pigs and deer as additional prey animals via feeders.
It would be great if they gave JPOG a remaster, dont need to change much really. It has something that JWE just lacks.
I liked when a dino passed away it gradually decomposed and showed it, I loved it and that also other meat eaters would frequent it to grab a snack, just dont like how its done in JWE2 like yeah they fight but they never do anything after and it has no visual effect of degrading... its a pet peev lol
Yes it does? Like it dosent become a skeleton but it turns grey, skinny and wrinkley.
@quinnnewman2618 you do understand that JPOG showed bones, albeit low quality for the time. You'd also see it happening faster as other meat eaters snacked on it. This I know does not happen in JWE 1 or 2 at least not on the same level.
@@His094 not on the same level, but it does still happen.
@quinnnewman2618 I mean, I have never personally seen it, but then again I haven't been on in a bit too.
Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but something they should bring from it is the lethal options for bringing down a rampaging dino
It should steal JPOG's soundtrack, it sounds soo much better than Evolution's :P. Also, a proper Site B mode
Still love this game, always fun hopping onto site b mode and watching my dinosaurs survive
JWE2 has some bangers in its soundtrack too 🔥*cough main menu theme
This was the game that brought me to the chanel with the yearly playthroughs. It's flawed but that's what what mskes it flawless. It's a genuine game and the most nostalgic one for me
JPOG is a classic. I have played many of hours of JWE over the past few years but I don't think there will ever be a game I have played more than JPOG.
The music is a really major part that made JPOG enjoyable for me. I still remember being disappointed with the JWE soundtrack. Not even the main JP theme was used that much
That's why I love Evolution so much and why when first trailer for first game was released I wanted it bad because I never played Operation Genesis, but I wanted to
How have I never noticed that guest in JW2 have umbrellas now???
I desperately want lures back, they were so useful for filming back in the day.
JPog is soooooo empty, yet when you play it; it feels so much more alive and lived in/filled with things compared to JWE2
The one thing that JPOG has over JWE2 is the ability to make your island. I wish we got a new map for JWE2 which is just a piece of land in the ocean.
Would be cool if the ocean. On the map was a natural lagoon too
As someone who quite unbelievably to myself, didn’t ever play Jpog so I can’t really comment on a lot.
Lol
I’m sure that doesn’t happen in JWE2.
And the soundtrack… not sure why there is no official music? Are universal being awkward assholes about it or something??!
The game would be so much more epic with just some official music in it 😬
I feel like we need a randomized dig sites option too :/ apart from being able to make your own islands
They had something like this in the first game, so I don't know why it didn't transfer over to JWE2
We should be able to rescue our guest in JWE2, the fact that frontier just making every vehicle in the game just disappear after it's getting destroyed by dinosaur along with guest inside of it instead of adding more animation for guest to run away and escape is so disappointing
Couldn’t agree more. Thank you BIS :,)
Jpog need a remake
It’s called jwe
He means jurassic park operation genesis
@@AK_SERHAT_ I ment jwe is a remake of jpog
Jurassic World Operation Genesis
Listen, all I want fromtier to do is to disable the bounding boxes toggleable for sandbox, that way we can build anything we want rather than have to download a mod for it.
I think they should add the island maker so you can make your own island
I'm personally glad that JWE2 doesn't individually simulate guests. I don't miss the annoying ai issues present with JPOG visitors struggling to take care of themselves, and I don't think the payoff is worth the extra performance load of keeping track of 4,000 guest's decisions and thoughts. To me it's not a worthwhile feature.
I just think the greenhouse and paleo feeders from JWE1 is better. The herbivore feeders we got in JWE2 is not that good anymore
2:54 since...when? Hervivores can eat from the grass and plants of the island, what are you talking about?
In Jurassic world evolution 3 we need this stuff the hot air balloons more rides like roller coasters and swings allowed to see people’s thoughts age personality ect
you should a a JPOG series again
I was incredibly disappointed by Evolution in comparison to OG.
The micro-management, island creation, depth of guests, Dinosaur pheromone deterrents and attractors, and the dino's even Decay - which was my biggest disapointment as the new one's didn't even add that as an option.
JWE 2 could also benefit for a JPOG Carcharodontosaurus design
We need semi aquatic dinosaurs or dinosaurs being able to swim and not just stand on water, kelp forests, seaweeds maybe, more water vegetation, more vegetation custom builds
I would love to see more guest stuff in a dlc and for them to add cows 🐄 give dinosaurs other stuff to eat
you mean generously borrowing features
JWE 1 & 2 lack individuality, since it's so free with SANDBOX, where most of us waste our playing making it stagnant and the game is predictable, Though we can tinker the setting but still.
I really want to play but I can’t figure out how.
I love the return of the balloon ride before the it to late
I have no clue why there are so few legit high quality dino games these days
They should put Peppino for JWE. It would be epic
Well the automated hatcheries part aged well.
You... probably should not have pharesed it like that.
That is a fantastic idea!
Just give us like a vintage mode or something in jwe2 where it’s the mechanics of jpog
I like your idea but this some idea you’re taking this not impossible because this game no design for us looking for guest detail and i move on for JPOG long time ago
and JWE2 they do it to the best is they can
Nice 🥓
Hopefully jwe3 will have this
for a site b mode, it should have a breeding mechanic where dinosaurs find a mate and reproduce. i dont find the asexual reproduction aspect of jp's dinosaurs that interesting for gameplay, i want genders and have males and females play different roles from each other like the males being more aggressive and want to fight for rights to mate, and the females being caring mothers and so on, just like how animals irl act. i love the idea of the cycle of life in site b mode.
If JPOG had a dino reproduction mechanic i would be the happiest person alive
@@The_Primitive I'm not sure if you seen the video that goes over the cut content from Operation Genesis but we were suppose to have gotten both genders in the game as well as breeding.
Play Prehistoric Kingdom then...
GUESTS!
I think the words should be "carry over into" instead of "steal" for the title of this video
@@Deerorex Yeah that should be doable
I honestly thought JPOG was really kinda boring...
I do wish you can retire your carnivores when they breakout and try eating your guests?
Truth
