I just want to thank Big Log Larry for helping us take down these trees. I won't even know where to start! This is not an easy thing to do and it can be very dangerous, so thank you to all the men and women climbers out there who do this on a daily! This was a lot of fun to watch and I learned so much maybe one day I'll give it a go. lol Thank you so much for watching and we'll see you soon!

That was really interesting Jenna. Great to see a different perspective.
Even Banjo helped get rid of the branches. Good dog!
Hope your knee is ok.
Cool video, It is fun to watch.
Nice video and good job. Take care and have a blessed and safe day
That’s why you cut those “nubs” flush with the trunk.
Good thing you are using that modded Ripsaw. Never went more than 3/4 throttle
You are living in such a beautiful area and it is intresting too!
Jenna went watching billy ray smith make it look 👀 easy with yrs of practice 😊. Remember THINK SAFETY and always put SAFETY FIRST . TKS you for your time and a great 👍 little video. 😊😊
Great work gratulation
Chainsaw jenna is such an adorable young lady. Banjo is a super star.
That's NOT a little loose, that's THE LOOSEST CHAIN I'VE EVER SEEN...
its an carving bar, so pretty tight actually
Just brought 25 aches land full of hard wood planning on milling the trees to use the lumber to build cabins on my homestead
Mr BL LARRY should invest in a nice climbing saw
Amazing watching those guys do that but very dangerous work. We had a guy here locally killed when his saw got away from him way up in a tree . He was attached by his harness and rescue had to bring a truck in to reach him to lower his body. Very sad. Did you sprang you knee Jenna ?
I like the Arborist Job. This is the famose job what i like. Climb up in the trees.🥰
Climbing trees can be fun, but it’s all the same after a while. And in all honesty for most of us we never had a class to climb trees we just had someone teach us the basics and then get told “have fun good luck don’t fall”😂 I’d be pretty interested in running that rip saw 193, I’ve seen and heard really mixed reviews on them from ripsaw. Those 28in stihl light bars are pretty nice but the 36in ones are like a wet noodle😂 I need to run more stihl 193s tho, been running a husky T540xp lately
Well sounds like I need to get some climbing gear and have Big Log Larry show me the basics lol I love the ported 201c its awesome! I'm sure the 193 is just as awesome! I originally wanted the 25 in light bar but all they had was the 28 and I am not patient enough to wait for a bar to come in. LOL Thank you for watching!
@@chainsawjenna lol, you still want a 25in light bar? I think I have a used one kicking around the shop. And yeah, climbing is pretty easy to learn and “safe” as long as you have your setup done correctly. I’d offer my old gear but I’m 6’2 205 and doubt it would fit you😂
Them T540xp's are the worst trimsaws I've ever used
@@dereksteele2284 have you tried the MK 3? Those are wayyyyy better, almost a different saw now
@SomeGuysSawShop have not. Just the first ones that came out. I do believe you, though, because the mk2 550s were a much better saw than the first ones
Heck yea
I wear Crocks cutting too!
No wood chips woven into socks is a plus
If u are interested you should give it a shot. It's super fun and an awesome job. We need more women in the industry. If your ever in Cincinnati stop by Madison Tree Care
There you go Jenna, showing how to run a saw.
You are wearing a knee brace like mine. I was wondering where you have been for the last few weeks: hope Banjo's Mom is OK.
Ported the muffler on my 193 and retuned it. It woke the saw up a lot!
As well as removing all the limb stumps from the log to allow an easier climb
First view, like, and comment.
Aww, get the kiddie a cookie.
Jenna:
Wears ear protection, wears eye protection, wears chaps, wears… crocs???😂😂😂
#thatssafeenough
they actually make safety toe crocs
@@korodski I WANT THAT AND I NEED THAT!!!!
Hebat , 💪👍🎉🎉
Im one if those big dogs
For your next carving you should do a capy bara
haha all I can think of now is that Bobs Burger episode when they get kidnap on the cruise ship lol if you watch that show you know it's a great show :)
So can you pls do a capybara
Is there nothing Banjo won't eat Jenna?😂
I have a 192 (essentially the same saw) and its such a dog. I dislike it but its gonna have to pay for itself before I change
I swapped over from the 0.043 to 0.05 gauge bars and chains with my 192 since my 193 using those seemed much better. Getting better performance for sure. The Oregon advanced cut chain does well in those weak tree saws.
Is chainsaw Jenna doing ok I see you have a knee brace on.
Americans usually have a wierd techniqe to cutting down trees. And by that I mean their way to do the first cut where you "aim" where you want the tree to fall ( and by wierd I only mean that americans do it a bit different).
But Big Log Larry is Sweden approved lol
Either way I am mighty impressed by this dude!!!!!!!!!!
I have spent 10 years of my life cutting down trees beside powerlines
I cut trees for power companies also for about that long until I got a back injury at work that required surgery, then they fired me over it
@@dereksteele2284 Sorry to hear that. The wierd thing is that the same thing happened to me. Worked in the forrest for 10 years, Then i quit for another job, hurt my back and had surgery 2014. It got better but not good. Now at the age of 46 I walk with a cain and havent been able to work for 10 years. Still I loved work in the forrest. But its a fact, almost everyone breaks their body in one way or another. Either you finally injure yourself with the chainsaw, or the back gives up
@@broman6662 yeah. My doctors want me to find an easy job, but it's hard to find an easy job that pays good without a good education or having to travel.
@@dereksteele2284 Yes it is
Coincidentally, "Big Log Larry" was my nickname in college.
Try a 200t
200t are hard to find since they started making the 201t
@@dereksteele2284 I had 6 at one time , I just recently sold 4 of them
I don't want to sound crude but that guy has balls crossing from tree to tree like that!!! O and why is your dog wearing a muzzle??
it's actually a gentle lead not a muzzle, it makes it so Banjo doesn't pull
@@chainsawjenna o I see well learn something new every day 😉😁
He might not if he swings onto one of those stubs! Unless you need to stand on something, always cut your stubs. But yes, he’s a bold dude!
The electric company would've cut them for free
