Cool video, definitely that 881 seemed hard to start but it coulda just been something stupid on the first few pulls that flooded it

Used the decompressor on choke. That flooded your 881. When cold dont use the decompressor on choke. After the first splutter without the decompressor on choke. You are free to use the decompressor button.

An idiot flooded the 881. You should've removed the spark plug, after few puls, tighten the plug, flip the switch to idle and it will start right up.
That 881 should not start that hard. Maybe the saw just needs a professional tune up? Do those saws get used? Why is the cheap Pinkway leaking? I don't remember that ever being mentioned before.
It usually starts pretty easy. BLL just flooded it after the burp.

He didn't leave you much of a butt/stump to carve-in-place. I would've liked to have seen it cut 4' off the ground and have you carve a poison ivy plant arising out of it. 🤣

I would drop that whole red oak with my ms 880 with a full skip chain on it and I wouldn’t use the chainsaw that you and your wheel would tell me to use and then I would clean up the whole tree with the bobcat and my 880 and my Vermeer 2500 I would take all of the big pieces of wood for firewood I use to be a logger and I use to cut up red oaks all of the time along with eculyptus trees and that 880 of mine went through them all like they were butter
