Long before anyone heard of the “Question Mark kick”, Brazilian Kyokushin Karate fighter named Francisco Filho popularized the “Otoshi Mawashi-Geri”. This popular kick was then dubbed the “Brazilian Kick”.
Good video, the real skill to this kick though is actually learn it of the front leg !!!!,as it’s a lot quicker more likely to land, glaube feitosa best to watch for it,takes a lot flexibility and hip strengthening to become good at the kick, lots of practice
@@fightwise4500 I love this kick personally, unorthodox kicks always great to have in your locker, definitely have to start of on the back leg as it’s easier, exactly how you described it start front kick and learn to pivot use the hips, but need to learn of lead leg as that’s when you can really start hitting regularly with it,obviously not as powerful but will land more and catch people out,
Very nice explanation thank you
Thanks!

I agree that the lead leg is more difficult than the back leg! I like it off both legs. For speed: front leg, for power: back leg
