What an amazing way to top off the final DLC of this fantastic game: a Raid Boss that isn't just a common enemy with a huge health bar, but instead a completely unique fight that isn't a reskin of an enemy in the game, complete with its own kickass music! (I mean yeah Haderax is just a huge sand worm, but it has its own set of attacks and animations!)
What made the fight even more difficult is that Haderax can heal itself, my brother, and I had a hard time trying to kill it, but by the time we finished it, it was well worth the wait, we may not have gotten The Peak Opener, but it was a great fight.
hes definitely pretty easy once you figure out what to do but wow i really like the step away from raid bosses being BIG ENEMY WITH BIG HEALTH AND THE ONLY WAY TO BEAT IT IS TO PLAY SALVADOR type. those really arent fun and are an actual chore over fun
@@lordgiblets7585 you can definitely beat it as all characters but for a good majority of raid bosses/seraph guardians if you want to farm them youre gonna have to go sal or youll be spending wayy too long for an unintended drop
Tbh krieg is fine, maya is fine, zero is fine, as is salv. Gaige and axton are too slow for farming tho. But i have killed all the raid bosses with zero and krieg and maya. Js.
So me and my brother got into the arena for the first time and we were so confident that we can kill the boss last night using his Salvador and my zero, we had no idea how this boss fights so we just head in not realizing it would be a grave mistake not to bring a conference call bee combo, and after 20 times dying and a short guide on youtube how to beat it we be just like "Yeah let's just get the conference call".
Only song that's more badass then this and signals more destruction then this has to be a hard choice between giorno Giovanni's fight theme from jojo part 5, and bfg division theme from doom
Out of all the bosses we ever faced in Borderlands 2, which one do you think would win? Haderax, Hyperius, Terramorphus, The Leviathan, The Warrior, or Cramerax? Leave your thoughts in the comments below on who you think would win. For me I think Haderax.
Lore wise or gameplay wise? Lore wise the warrior solos easily since...its a vault monster with literal lava and slag powers and is literally said to be able to wipe out all life on pandora. Gameplay wise probably haderax since...healing its damage isn't high but it's the only boss with healing

RIP AND TEAR!!!
oh sorry...wrong game
Ha
The reason why I always loved borderlands was because you're and unstoppable badass like the doomslayer.
@@eagonten Then you become useless in the next game unless your a siren, but even then
"Now, Vault Hunter... *D R O P I T*
It never gets old lol
Zer0 walk into the arena.
Haderax: "Why do I hear boss music?"
Ikr xD almost killed him with zer0 alone
Bro so true 😂
You misspelled Maya
Axton walks in with his two turrets.
*Haderax sweats intensely*
gaige with large anarchy stacks
Best part about the fight: The music was playing in-universe. XD
I can hear the deafening sound of the conference call and bee shield combo in my head
I know! we rember it, when we fight Terra!
That drop shook my damn house and scared the shit out of me the first time
*Bbbwwwwwoooooaaawww* The beat just dropped
@@the_genis_lordgaming4858 Yep and I was listening to it on a speaker at max volume 😂
So loud a fork vibrated and fell off my desk lmao
My favorite part is 0:40 when the bass drops it’s such an epic Intro for the final boss of all the DLC’s
You can play this to a DOOM fan, and they wouldn’t even know it was a borderlands 2 song.
lol
I actually tested this out with a friend of mine who is a DOOM fan. He had a shocked expression.
the doom slayer against a raid boss. sounds like fun to me!
I actually did this one time, and they actually were surprised that it was a Borderlands 2 song.
0:41when someone said the boss is sh*t
UNCLE HADERAX WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU 😢😢😢 CONFERENCE CALL ‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼
Borderlands 3 boss fights best have music like this in it, cuz now I want more...
Check out my channel
Sadly most bl3 boss fights dont have epic music. Wotan does, maliwan takedown as a whole has dope ost. Idk about the rest of the game tho tbh
@@captainbofa1854 if the music of bl3 bosses are not epic, bl2 boss musics are more worst lol no originality too
@@enzo947 i said most. This theme, handsome wizard theme, tinder snowflake theme, just to name a few are all fkin dope imo.
@@captainbofa1854 Captain Traunt, Rampager and Troy are pretty good too. And the Cartel OST is pretty amazing.
First time to hear this with my friend I was like "DAAAAAAMMMMN we're going into some crazy shits ma guy"
So the Hellwalker shotgun got a massive buff.
NOW VAULT HUNTER! DRRRROP IT!!!
Thanks for including the intro
Mick Gordon definitely seems to have had an influence since Doom came out.
Doom 2016 came out in 2016, this came out in 2012. So I dont think the Doom series is the influence
@Cyruz92 you do realize this dlc only came out a couple years ago right?
@@yentamoon1808
I was not aware. I see it came out 2019 now, so it is in fact very possible it was influenced by Mick Gordon
Awesome Track.
Mega Soundtrack.
Sounds like a lil bit like the combat music from command & conquer 😅
Borderlands the best ❤
Thanks to this song I felt like I cooked the most badass breakfast ever
I don't know if I sweated for the heavy metal or my screams when I defeated him... But OH MY GOD THAT BOSS WAS EPIC
best boss theme other than nobody, best boss theme and fun boss itself

I'd been managing just fine with Krieg and Maya. I haven't actually used Salvador for any of them yet.
@@lordgiblets7585 you can definitely beat it as all characters but for a good majority of raid bosses/seraph guardians if you want to farm them youre gonna have to go sal or youll be spending wayy too long for an unintended drop
I kill him in True Hunter mode With zero

Aaron Burnette yeah absolutely, personally for me farming with salv goes by a lot easier though
Toothpaste + Mouthwash+ Restainer Shield has engraved this song and boss into my memory, I'll gladly cough up 20 Eridium just to hear the song
I get more of a Serious Sam vibe from this.
I honestly got more of a doom vibe from this
My Krieg players where u at you know we had a hard time on this on op10
I'm with you

Dubstep to Heavy metal
He was surprisingly pretty easy for a raid boss.
Just Some Guy without a Mustache
His crit spot gives insane damage with pretty much anyone and with Sal it’s pretty much game over.
Took me a bit to figure out how to stop the self-healing. But its the only invincible boss i could beat on my own so yeah, this one's easy lol
I have yet to try this out solo. I can never do a Raid Boss solo without the Bee Shield, even in the OP Levels. Does he also drop Seraph Crystals?
PantyLunatic he doesn’t i don’t think
@@PantyLunatic nope, he gives you a lot of eridium and a few guaranteed legendaries in the chests that spawn when you kill him
First time i fought this boss i was like, “DAYUM, THIS SHIT HELLA FIRE!!!”
