    Thanks. I've since changed to different heads and thicknesses and they sound much deeper and punchier.

    Which bass drum size is best 20-26 for these, wondering of Zeppelin size too much.

      JonsGearLocker i'd go for either this 24 inch or the older 22 by 20 inch, the 26 just seems a little over the top and redundant

    What do you use to dampen your kick, if anything?

      It's a Remo Powersonic drum head. I like the way they sound. Nice and fat.

      Tyler Schneider There is a small, thin pillow along the bottom, as it was a little boomy when close-mic'ed. It just touches both heads and is about 12" of head coverage, and about an inch high.

    You drums sound great but they're a little tuned high for me.
