Vanilla Hair Remake requires the modified HDT-SMP. If I install that while already having the standard HDT extension will it affect physics on bodies and outfits?
Yes it will, it actually completely overrides all files added by the standard version, making the standard one redundant. It is however, essentially the exact same thing as the standard one, does all the same stuff, its just built "cleaner" and should reduce potential performance issues greatly. Body and outfit physics should be no different.
