Been running the 810 for about a year now. Love it. Bird's-eye view works great and you can mark exactly where you want to enter a site and it will take you there. What I hate.. It will always try and find the fastest route.. Not necessarily the best route for a truck. Send you down some crappy state road when you could have stayed on the highway. So great tool, but use common sense.
I travel a lot and drive trucks in between and trying to decide between the 710 or 810. I need big enough to see with my old eyes but also easy to pack and travel. My phone is big and easy to small for me see for and idea. It's the 710 big enough to see our is the 810 too big to travel with? Thanks
Hi, can I Bluetooth my apple air pods to this Garmin? And is this mainly for people driving big trucks, what ,if I'm just chauffeuring people in cars, suv's, and Sprinters?
@@djairalert422 yes, you can attach any Bluetooth device to the Garmin unit. This device is more expensive than other GPS units because it is designed for big trucks, but it has a car mode as well. I would say if you're not driving a big rig, it's probably major overkill.
I don't have the device anymore, but it's your standard suction cup mount. Works great, except in really cold weather. I find that if you put a little water on the rubber before installing, it greatly improves the suction power.

Can you show the window mounting? I want this, but I’m never in the same truck twice.

You like rand mcnally or garmins the best?
Never used Rand McNally, sorry.
Are you able to send pins to it from google on your phone?
Yes you can
@@johnschultz6684 thnx man
Still not sold on this unit. Not worth 900
I hear you man. Super expensive, especially for not being a 100% reliable device. The way it routes is sometimes just baffling.
