I myself am a Nicaraguan/Cuban and I haven’t been to Cuba but I hear it is beautiful but I have been to Nicaraguan 9 times and I have to say it is so beautiful the beaches and the volcanos it is so affordable
I'm also that combination hahahaha but I live in Nicaragua, I don't know how is Cuba u.u.

Michelle Ortega nicaragua is an embarrassment to itself. emigration is high while immigration is nonexistent. why is that? oh yeah its because the country sucks. Please tell me how Nicaragua is good besides the food, and the vacation spots...
Just got back from Nicaragua. I stayed at Verdad Resort and spent a day in Granada, and it was very safe, clean, and friendly. And yes, Nica time is a thing, lol. Food is incredible and people are very nice. Also, there is no need for makeup and hair products as it is super humid, and it won't make a difference, lol. If you pay in US dollars, they will give change in cordobas FYI.

My best friend in college was from Nicaragua. It was 30 years ago and his family fled because of the war. I'm happy to see Nicaragua is safe and I peaceful again.
Great information. American Citizens (and citizens of other nations) are so misled about Nicaragua. I spent 12 days there across the country in 2009. Best trip of my life. The sights from Isla de Ometepe in the south to Jinotega to the north. Such a beautiful country. Most of it feels like time stood still. It's perfect to get away. Also, Aside from taking pictures, Stay off your phone, soak in the moments, and enjoy the sights, sounds, and aroma of the food. It's amazing.

This video is an amazing explanation of how life is over there. This is a must see video before you go. Thank you for speaking so highly of a forgot Central American country.
Great video, and it is spot on! I am living in Nicaragua now, and am in the process of renovating my home here and turning it into the dream home that I never thought I could afford. Viva Nicaragua!!!
I simply LOVED our time in Nicaragua, the places we visited were unspoilt, the people SO very likeable, sweet, kind, innocent, helpful, we strayed into a church in Grenada where mass was being said, the worshippers were so welcoming, I can still hear the people singing, it was a very special moment, it made me cry. Why is it that only in these South American countries do they still observe Christianity as it used to be observed in Europe? We travelled from Costa Rica across the border, that was an interesting crossing also. I would re visit in a second. God bless Nicaragua.
Because the U.S. was mostly colonized by Protestants [of a slew of different denominations, none of whom agreed on much] while the natives in So. & Central America were given the choice to convert to Catholicism or be tortured to death by the Inquisition? Just guessing...
Thank you so much for presenting a perfect summation of this spectacular country. I'll be returning to Nica in July for the second time, and your video brought a tear to the eye. Only Colombia and Nicaragua have that innocent brilliance of beauty that I've encountered, quite literally the world over. A nature and scenery beyond expectations, and a local population that remain so proud within their limited finances, predominantly. I'll attempt a video on par with your own, simply to do justice to this amazing country and encourage further positive education to the foreigners who may wish to visit this paradise. My wife and (then) 4-year-old son moved to Nicaragua on a whim in 2013 and lived there for a year. LOVED IT. Lived in both Granada (mostly) and Matagalpa (for a few months). We've been back twice in the years since. Can't wait to get back again! Other than a scooter we bought, but rarely used, we got around solely by chicken bus and taxi. The people...wow the people! Everyone was so nice and patient with us gringos. Just lovely people everywhere we went.
It is a very easy country to fall in love with, I have been there three times. Weather wise there is no bad time to go. I hope they can get over their internal difficulties ASAP, the people are so friendly as well.

Proud of my country Nicaragua.. Glad I was born their and raise in NYC. I'm Nicaraguan American. Love your video thanks for those who do not understand the lifestyle of Nicaragua or Central America as a whole. Blessings
You forgot to mention Spanish School! That's a really fun activity and good way to connect with locals that most tourists miss out on. Lago Azul in San Juan del Sur is the best.
Best quesillos while I lived in Nicaragua were made by an old lady selling them near the fresco stand at ANS school during lunch. Wish I knew how these were made so I could try to recreate them here in the States. But I was too young to realize I’d want to make them myself later in life!
I live here...I just bought a house here and I love it..really humble and I was born here but I lived in Miami for 30 years but it’s cheap to live here and I love it..safe place to stay..thanks for posting this video.
Best thing he said was don't be surprised if you fall in love with Nicaragua. So true! I know many people from US and Canada who have visited my country and have fallen in love how can you not right?
When you're Nicaraguenze and come to watch this video. Great Info. I've traveled from Texas and Nicaragua since I was 3, I'm 20 years old now and both of my parents are from here. It's a beautiful place, and the locals really do love to interact with the tourist that come by. But just a heads up! Restaurants do charge more for tourist because you're paying in Dollars! YOU'RE WELCOME! I recommend visiting Selva Negra, it's a few miles away from Managua, but it's so nice and cool. You're up in the mountains and you get an amazing view from Matagalpa.
@@daaammnyoufr im going on the 17th of next month. Its beautiful. The beach is nothing like galveston. Depending on where your going, the climate varies, managuavis hot, but matagalpa gets nice and cold at night certain times of the year

Aww! That was my favorite documentary ever of my beautiful country. Thank you for all the love you express. Being one of the poorest countries, is always looked at from far and very much ignored. I left the country as a child do to the war, as lost many love ones and almost lost my life, but I sure hope to visit home again soon! THANK YOU!!
I'm very proud of my country, Nicaragua. I highly recommend people to visit the Pacific and Central Region as well as the Caribbean Coast. It is indeed very cheap and safe to explore.
I love your videos, man. This one is amazing. Though, in Managua; everyone drinks tap water. Which freaks me out, because here in Guatemala; no one does that. Amazing pictures. Thank you for sharing. And yeah, Toña is good!
I have spent quite a bit of time in Nicaragua (I am here right now), and I have always drunk the tap water and have never had any problems. The tap water here is quite clean. In some other countries, you should definitely boil the water. Here it's fine.
I love Nicaragua! Found property, built a home and moved here. The tap water is fine. The temperature depends on where you are. I’m in the north near Jinotega and it gets cold. It all depends on the altitude. Been in the buses dozens of times. Never once have I seen a chicken. A load of plantains, yes, but no chickens. Nicaragua is beautiful, safe, and cheap.
What a beautiful country Nicaragua, it is a placer watch your video talking about my country, have a great days in my country and enjoy it. From Houston USA.
tekashi akunekun if you’ve never been to Nicaragua, I HIGHLY suggest you go; I’m Nicaraguan myself & it has extremely beautiful views and varieties of fun activities to do while being there, & not only that but it has beautiful culture & history behind it.

Are the corn islands a must see? Cause its super expensive and i need to travel to the other side of the country for that, is it much diffirent than the beaches on the west side?
No US cash for local spending! Bring your debit card to get local currency at the ATM to be sure you're not getting ripped off with a shady exchange rate
Man, I love your videos. I have only watched a few so far, admittedly, but you're such a positive and informative guy. Certainly living the dream, too.
I lived in Nicaragua for 1,5 years in total and there are some things I would like to add/correct. 1. If you're wearing flip flops in public don't be surprised if you get some weird looks from the locals since really the only time they wear them are in their houses. So it would kind of be like if you went out in public in your slippers. 2. You can exchange 20, 50, even 100 bills at special shops/stores that offer exchange services. You don't have to go to the bank and have your passport but you might have to do some scouting to find one of them. If you're in luck you could walk into a normal store/pharmacy and they might be nice enough to exchange your dollars for córdobas. Just pay attention what rate they are giving you. Look it up on the internet before you go and exchange. The actual value that they but on the dollars is usually slightly lower than the rate that you see on the internet because it takes a few weeks for the local markets to adapt. 3. If you're in Granada you can drink the tap water. The tap water in Granada is way cleaner than the water in other cities in Nicaragua. And if you have a strong and steady stomach you can give it a go and you can drink the tap water from other places as well. But also be careful with eating ice cream and local beverages with ice since it's not purified water. 4. Be street smart! Keep an eye on your things don't flash your money up in the air. Be careful with taxi drivers that really are on you and give you a offer that seems to good to be true. Travel with registered and official taxi drivers. They'll have a taxi ID and you'll be able to differentiate then from the non-official taxis. 5. I'd argue that baseball isn't the most popular sport in Nicaragua. I'd say football is (or soccer). Because if you look everywhere on the streets the kids are playing football and all my nicaraguan male friends do as well. I really only have one friend who follow MLB. I'd agree that boxing is 2nd because when a nicaraguan is fighting internationally EVERY TV in EVERY house that you walk by will be watching that fight. 6. Don't be surprised if you fall in love with Nicaragua! This is what happened to me. I went there and the people, the food, the way they do things. Basically the whole culture is so different in a really good way from the western modern world. Go to Nicaragua if you haven't already!
For good dollar exchange,go to el carmen in Managua and ask for "el gato" he will give you a god price for your dollars, better than any bank,or hotel, but go during week days when the regular "coyotes" are there,do not go on the week ends,my father inlaw got robed there on a week end by punks pretending to be real "coyotes".In general the term "coyote" is to nickname a man or a woman who exchanges money in the "black market" or unofficial market. It is done usually in the open street, and cops or security people in Nicaragua will not interfere with this kind of business.
9410besi I think baseball is the most popular sport people like to follow, watch on tv or listen to on the radio. Playing on the street soccer is easier for kids than baseball. About walking around in flip flops in the streets I don't know how it is now since I haven't gone back in years but back in the day you were never looked down on it.
9410besi ..... i havent gone to nicaragua but i have visited costa rica... which many tell me is quite similar.... i would agree soccer is number one all over central america! I also do not suggest flip flops unless you want a sunburn on your feet- plus... i walked almost everywhere so having flip flops on- well no good! And in costa rica when they talk of chicken bus.... well we took a tour up to tabacon hot springs & half way there we stopped at a place where you could buy chicken drumsticks to eat!!!
i walked on the roofs on the cathedral, ziplining, met family, went to the farm, went to the beach, went to the schools and markets and played soccer with the locals. very fun place if you know a little spanish
Unfortunately, Nicaragua has gotten very, very bad in recent times due to political violence-even though the American news media is quiet about it. Nicaragua's tourist industry has literally died out. Daniel Ortega has out-Somozaed Somoza lately.
bigverybadtom Thank you for bringing this up. It is so sad that the American Media is not highlighting the bullshit that Sandinistas are doing. Killing and ripping off the poor people of Nicaragua.
Hey, it’s not that bad anymore, there’s certain places like San Juan del Sur, where I live where all you did was hear of stuff happening in the capital. Please everybody don’t be put off by what’s happening in Managua and Masaya. There are loads of other places in Nicaragua that are only affected by loss of tourists, like my own town San Juan del Sur
Don’t believe the BS in the media. I was here through all the crap last April. US backed by CIA. The people here are beautiful and happy. If only the US would stop trying to start another war.

Thank you for sharing this video. It's great to see people enjoying this wonderful country. I am Nica, grew up in the States, and haven't visited much. You sharing this video has made me realized how much I want to go back to Nicaragua, takes my kids and show them our roots and have fun...
Nicaragua my country. Best place in the world (for me). There's no place like home. Great review 👍👍👍
I agree
Proud of my country Nicaragua.. Glad I was born their and raise in NYC. I'm Nicaraguan American. Love your video thanks for those who do not understand the lifestyle of Nicaragua or Central America as a whole. Blessings
You forgot to mention Spanish School! That's a really fun activity and good way to connect with locals that most tourists miss out on. Lago Azul in San Juan del Sur is the best.
Matt Stone what does it cost per week or per month amigo?
And also for Easter week is the best time to go to the Atlantic Coast am from pearl lagoon is like little Jamaica party
Best place to get quesillos is La Paz Centro, León
Nagarote is the best place to get quesillos. 😊
Best quesillos while I lived in Nicaragua were made by an old lady selling them near the fresco stand at ANS school during lunch. Wish I knew how these were made so I could try to recreate them here in the States. But I was too young to realize I’d want to make them myself later in life!
Mario Chavarría my grand tia lila invented quesillos
I live in Bluefields Nicaragua, beautifull video! 🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮
i an nicoya and i went there in 2016 and its really fun there and i LOVED it
I live here...I just bought a house here and I love it..really humble and I was born here but I lived in Miami for 30 years but it’s cheap to live here and I love it..safe place to stay..thanks for posting this video.
So nice to see this video of my country, thank you so much for visiting 👌😊 Hope to see tourists take a chance to visit and fall in 💕
Best thing he said was don't be surprised if you fall in love with Nicaragua.
Athziri Rojas do you have an insta or twitter so i can ask more ? my grandparents visit all the time but i’ve never been
Same, im from Houston and travel to nica all the tims
felix masis how is it ? i wanna visit im also from houston 😂
@@daaammnyoufr im going on the 17th of next month. Its beautiful. The beach is nothing like galveston. Depending on where your going, the climate varies, managuavis hot, but matagalpa gets nice and cold at night certain times of the year
Gracias sean bienvenidos todos
esto es un paraíso por descubrir, imágenes de un poema hecho realidad, son las historias que de viejo vas a contar con una sonrisa en tu cara
I love your video and thanks for highlighting the beauty of Nicaragua and that everyone knows its beauty thanks and good video greetings
The buses are amazing! I wish we had a bus system as efficient and reliable. I mean you can put out your hand and catch a bus anywhere on the road.
Thank you for speaking the truth about my country ❤️🙏
I’m happy that you enjoyed Nicaragua! I can’t wait to go back to my country! I miss my Gallo Pinto and quesillo! 🇳🇮
Me 2
I love thast you mention baseball. I'm a baseball guy. Sounds like Nicaragua will be fun. Famous baseball player from Nicaragua: Dennis Martinez.
TheGeoScholar Dennis Martinez was a "BOXER"
PEACE LOVE Seriously...? Dennis Martinez is a former MLB player. He was the first Nicaraguan baseball (pitcher) to play in the majors.
Thus the national baseball park in Managua (capital city) was named in his honor
TheGeoScholar yess if you come you might want to make sure to go to the stadium in Managua city it os beautiful and we have so many things
TheGeoScholar I met denis martinez Im from nicaragua I think almost anyone from nicragua know him
One tip about Managua, be mindful of personal security if visiting Mercado Orientale.
Great video about my beautiful country👍🏼❤️🙏🏼!!! Quesillos are my favorites 👍🏼
Wonderful video. Thank you a lot! Our country is glad to receive you again!!
Volcan Maysaya 🇳🇮 mi linda Nicaragua (Managua /Tipitapa) Hey don’t stop at red stop light after 11pm lol you might get robbed 😂😂 Gallo pinto, queso frito and platano frito 👌🏼🤤

This is not latin america. Corn island is the caribbean
Im Nicaraguan! Loved your video, the perspectives, the "Nica time" so real so epic 😂💙
VIVA NICARAGUAAAAA!! 🔵⚪🔵
God bless Nicaragua ❤
How nice it was to hear all that about my country. Gracias!!!
José ministerial de aguaviva
I'm interested in your country's Carribean coast. If I read correctly, the Carribean Coast offers has dark skies at night.
This looks a grate place to visit! Nice video.
ARMY 🥺 I'm from Nicaragua and yes is a very awesome place. But isn't free right now :(
Great
To Yoongx: Yes: Just like the "grate" United States is now with the new shrill and shriek of the Democrat administration of
I love Nicaragua!
Hahaha @ "Yes, that is lava." Another great video!
sdraper2011
I suffer from lavaphobia 🤤🤤🤤
What a beautiful country Nicaragua, it is a placer watch your video talking about my country, have a great days in my country and enjoy it. From Houston USA.
I'm half Nicaragua and Puerto Rico but I live in the United states and I wanted to see what my culture was like and what does it look like
tekashi akunekun if you’ve never been to Nicaragua, I HIGHLY suggest you go; I’m Nicaraguan myself & it has extremely beautiful views and varieties of fun activities to do while being there, & not only that but it has beautiful culture & history behind it.
tekashi akunekun Same, My dad is Puerto Rican and my mom is Nicaraguan. I’ve been to Nicaragua ever since I was little because I have a lot of family there. It really is amazing.
•Joanna Cardona• go and soon...you are missing a lot...no idia!!!

it is very easy to fall in love with Nicaragua. Nica time... well put! Thank you for a great post!
Don’t forget to watch Wolter’s videos before you travel.
Hi I'm from Nicaragua... Thanks to this 💓
Are the corn islands a must see? Cause its super expensive and i need to travel to the other side of the country for that, is it much diffirent than the beaches on the west side?
Marie Quin its totally different, deffenetly a must see. And its not expensive.remember in nicaragua 30 cords is 1 dollar. Im am from there 😊
Thanks for the helpful info! I'm going to Nicaragua in a few weeks for a work trip so this makes me feel less nervous about traveling lol.
Welcome to this country! I'm sure you'll love it!
Totally agree after 2 years of living
I don't know man, I have lived in Nicaragua my whole life and I go everywhere with my flip-flops.
i walked on the roofs on the cathedral, ziplining, met family, went to the farm, went to the beach, went to the schools and markets and played soccer with the locals. very fun place if you know a little spanish
I always want to start Vloging when I watch your videos! Great content.
Have you ever been to Santiago Chile? Interested to hear your thoughts.
+Successful Minds was in Santiago a few times. Well worth visiting.
I personally am from Managua I’m going in 1 week I can’t wait 😊
Sweet job! Thank you. :)

Don't forget your surfboard so you can surf Nicaragua
Charlie don't surf; I'm only interested in the diving... Got any recs?
Great! Love to see people come to my country
Ummm Bluefields and surrounding areas are beautiful. How you gonna diss my town? Lol
nicaragualifestyles.info
Lmao you from bluefields too?
Black people
We're going next month, thank you for the advice! I love your channel
Cierto... Yup
I live in Leon and Leon still has a bunch of tour things going on all the time. They’ve got a lot of there tour things still open
Don’t believe the BS in the media. I was here through all the crap last April. US backed by CIA. The people here are beautiful and happy. If only the US would stop trying to start another war.
Thank you for this I've been showing a girl from my high school how my country is this helps a lot really cuz she wants to travel with me to Nicaragua my parents are originally from Nicaragua but I'm originally born and raised in New Jersey
