I'm from the Cayman Islands, and the cost of groceries for the month is somewhere around $350 to 450 usd, which is me my wife and 2 kids 😩. Definitely miss Nicaragua awesome people, food, and beautiful landscape.
Beautiful family, you guys are living my dream. I love the fact that she is more involved in appearing in the videos 🔥🔥🔥🔥 We can't wait to see baby Eliot making a video telling all the children in the world that he is happy to be living in Nicaragua 🇳🇮. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🇭🇹
I absolutely loved this vid... I'm granadino and 100% pinolero, but zi admire you both for showing the ",CHELE" side of us Nicaraguans 🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮 I really wish I could be more authentic to my pinolero roots my deepest #respects to you pioneers who can ba like y'all an STILL Nicaraguans and gringos all at tge sane time 🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮
I really want this kind of lifestyle-simple and stress-free. In the past two years or so, I have been wanting to get out of the rat race living situation here in Toronto, Canada. I traveled across Central America last year, starting in Mexico. I took a bus to every country (except Belize) all the way to Panama. It was quite an experience-nerve-wracking, but also very exciting. El Salvador and Nicaragua really stole my heart. I had a great time in both countries. I've visited more than 50 countries, and they are all amazing, but I don't know why Nicaragua is calling me. I remember how easy it was to engage with the locals even with my broken Spanish. I really want to give it a try, but I just don't know and a bit anxious how to start a new life there. If I will, I wish it would be sooner.
Give it a try my friend, come try it for a few month's! If you like it stay if not you can explore other countrys! Good luck on your journey wishing you the best!
I am on a mission (mission Nicaragua) so I keep my food budget as low as possible and definitely lower than usual. Currently I budget $ 60/week for myself and this covers all food(I cook all meals at home and eat out maybe once every 2 or 3 months), make all condiments from scratch, bake my own granola & other treats I choose to eat. Eating a lot of beans, eggs and only limited fish & meat to save. Usually I would spend about $ 100/week for myself. This is CAD
That looks amazing. Have to admit, we never went to the mercado while in Nicaragua. We went to La Colonia and shopped gringo style. The price you two paid is so inexpensive. Very cool. Your channel is growing. You'll be at 10K subs soon.
Nice! Just came back from my first trip to Nicaragua and had a great time. Next trip though I have to get up into the highlands. Looks so chill up there! I guess I could chicken bus it up there?
Looks delicious, thank you for sharing your chilero tips. I will be doing one my self. The market produce is also fun to watch, you nailed it bro. I spend about 150-200 a week for groceries. Cheers and blessings!
Can you guys do me a favor? Please make a video about La Purisima; it would be awesome if you guys went out and about during the celebration. Love your videos guys, thank you for making me feel I was back home and reliving my childhood.
Pollo con verduras muy rico. Me gusta acompañarlo con banano verde cocido, con tortilla no me gusta 😅 Su esposa cocinando y disfrutando de una comida nica☺️
I love the tortillas in Nicaragua. Unfortunately I don't know how to duplicate the recipe...it seems simply but it's actually difficult to have the consistency of the masa and to have them inflate is impossible for me. Food looks delicious.
Really nice video.... I understand that doing groceries at the city or department that you guys are is super cheap... But in my case I live in bluefields and the living cost is twice or more sad 😢
@@EmenseCoffee I should have given that more thought--I noticed the mountains in the background. I did like the looks of that mercado--all that hanging meat. I'll also learn more about your coffee, etc. Sounds like a road trip may be in the offing. Hope y'all are doing well.
GREAT VIDEO . your wife is Adoreable. i subscribed after i saw u guys on Outdoor chef life. soon i will be ordering some of your coffee. CHEERS AND BLESSINGS

Montreal $5.00 per pound of chicken. One tomato can go for over $2.00
Crazy expensive!
Germany is the same, and if we want to get just "BIO" food could be even more. Miss my country, hopefully one day I can go back
Se ve que es buen cafe

Oh wow i didn't know that. I have never been to blue fields, I would need to go explore on day. Thank you for watching.
I'm guessing that's the market in Jinotepe? Much more impressive than the mercado municipal in SJDS.
Nueva Segovia department!

Somoto I think it is. Located in Nueva Segovia
There is a big expats community in San Juan Del Sur. Not sure where this family lives.
My wife watched this video with me and she noticed your son's shirt says "brother." Is that hinting at a sibling along the way soon? ;)
Maybe! Stay tune fam!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Music too loud.
Thanks for the tip will keep in mind for next time.
