Costa Rica is a colony of Nicaragua. If you know Nicaragua History costa Rica stole Nicaragua territory during a civil war in Central America. If you heard el Guanacaste or Liberia these town were part of Nicaragua territory once. Furthermore Nicaragua has a lot of influence on Costa Rica. As matter of fact, they copy everything from Nicaragua.😂😂😂😂😂

Yes, you're right! The rain can definitely affect the visibility of the sand bar. Mother Nature can be quite unpredictable sometimes, but it's still a beautiful place to visit regardless of the weather!

which would you recommend if you had to pick between the volcano boarding and visiting ometepe?
This is very tough, it depends on the vibe you want on your trip. If it is adventure we'd recommend the volcano boarding. But Ometepe was some of the most peaceful experiences we've had.
