Love how Skelly refused to help you defeat his own boss but then there's Thanatos, yelling "hail, brother!" and didn't even hesitate to attack his own brother
You Summon and him and what do you think will happen? XD "Oh hey Charon!" *BONK!!* and then Hypnos pass out/falls asleep after getting hit on the head with an oar
@@BestBetterBestest Hypnos usually hang out with his wife Pasithea (daughter of Helios and naiad Aegle). Different with his two brothers Thanatos and Charon who usually hang out with Hades’s daughters: Macaria and Melinoe.
If you ask Nyx about making things up to Charon after winning, Nyx tells you that Charon was always too strong for anyone to want to roughhouse with him. So he's probably happy that you're actually willing to give him a fight,. he crtainly holds no grudges, after a brawl!

2 things I have to say bout this: (SPOILERS) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1. Skelly not wanting to fight his employer is a really nice touch 2. Sysiphus dropping a boulder full of goods and Charon's weakness - gold - has to 100% be intentional, I'll die on this hill.
for number 2, that's straight up wrong as Sysiphus always drops gold when summoned. The fact that he drops gold, darkness, and health from his companion is more a reference to the three options for treasure you get during his random encounter: health, darkness, or gold.
charon was the first i gifted ambrosia/nectar to... (small bottle) i refused to steal from him o n that point, so i didnt even know you COULD fight him my god ive beaten the fuckin game, smacked hades around for fun basically and MISSED a boss???
I put off fighting Charon for so long because I don't like robbing the shopkeeps in roguelikes, but when my friend finally convinced me to do it, I managed to win first try, even if it ultimately cost me the run long term. I got Hermes' bet afterwards, and went on to beat Charon again, making the score 2-0, and I actually won that run the second time.
Incredible how Dusa can dish out so much damage. That little gorgon sure packs a punch. Love using her against Hades in his second phase. With her help I usually kill him before her time expires. Well, until third phase comes in...

thanatos seems to deal the most damage against an enemy but if they move you're shit outta luck
Yea, the extra damage is just not worth the risk and that long delay imo
I love using it for boss battles. There’s always one attack they do where they stand still for a bit

One can only wonder why Skelly didn't show up. >:P
😂😂😂
Because Skelly is hired by Charon to let Zag train with him. Charon is a boss figure to Skelly so he wouldn't want to fight against his boss
Meanwhile Thanatos just does not give a fuck. Although maybe that should be pegged as regular sibling behavior
@@arowace498 well, humans have not invented "Mario Kart" yet for healthy sibling competition, so physical fights had to suffice.
