Definitely my favorite channel. You’re an admirable man because of your hunting ethics and good natured personality. Wish more people, whether hunters or not, had half as much respect as you do.
Jeremy, I appreciate everything you do, and I enjoy watching your channel. I’m 43, and you remind me of a guy that I hunted with when I was younger. Brings back a lot of good memories. I also remember going to the local check in stations and seeing everyone’s deer. It was always awesome, now we only see them on social media. Lol. I look forward to every episode.
Thanks for sharing these “real” deer hunts. Nothing like slipping into these public access areas and NOT leaving a footprint. Best hunting channel on TH-cam hands down.
In my opinion this is a better hunting show than what you can watch on the outdoor channel. You load up and go to different states and kill good bucks on public ground, this is what most of us can relate to. Thanks for sharing your videos and keep them coming please.
23:44 I think he smelt something because of the thermal pull from the creek, with the water flowing his direction it may have been pulling some scent down that direction even with a good wind. Just a thought and figured i'd share!
Times have changed glad to have people like you and Daniel to help promote hunting and trying to pass it on to our kids and grandchildren loving what you guys do.
I respect how you show appreciation to your viewers and encourage comments. I am Daniels age and feel like I am pretty experienced doing this stuff but I am really grateful to watch and learn from someone older and wiser. Nice buck Jeremy! Watching you reminds me of how hunting used to be.
Love your content man! Wanted to share my story. In 2003 i was shot while deer hunting. I was 17 then. It paralyzed me from above nipple line down. I was hunting with a guy that i thought was good friend. I was shot with a .358 magnum 250 grain hollow point. If it wasn't from my brother being there i would have died! I'm 37 now. .358 mag is a 35 caliber bullet setting on a .308 casing! Hope everyone stays safe and good hunting 🙏
Hard to beat what you and Daniel are doing. Been a great year for yall. Thanks for being so dedicated to making something we can watch and enjoy. Congrats.
I love this channel. Out of ALL the hunting content on YT this is far and wide the best. Everything you said at the end is true. I'm 37 years old, teaching myself how to hunt, never had family that did it. The way the world's going, all I want is to be able to spend time with my 2 boys in the woods. Not in front of a screen and the last thing the world needs is another ball player. Thank you for promoting this way of living. As soon as I learn how to do this in my backyard, I'll definitely plan a trip out of state. Until then, I got a lot of time and experience to make up and you guys have helped me a lot already. I feel like I learn something new every episode. Thank yall!
49 yrs old, and just starting to try saddle hunting and public land hunting. I have a 17yr old son that has a love like I do for hunting and you have inspired me to go to other states and try it out. Thanks for sharing real life hunting footage.
I ran a Skidder for 12 years and I’ve run a loader for about 10 years now. Been in the woods all my life so I can really relate to you. Y’all are my kind of people brother. I really enjoy the content and true woodsmanship.
Well done! I really enjoy the attitude you and Daniel have in your videos. The authenticity of you 2 have made this my favorite channel. From a fellow Mississippian, thanks for representing our state so well.
Awesome shot placement! You could hear him sniffing around in the video. That’s pretty cool. Congrats on the kill man. Side note- tell Daniel to pick up his trash! You supposed to take out more than you bring in. Lol. But seriously, pick up your trash Daniel!
I have binge watched most of your episodes while I’ve been fighting the flu. I hunt western Kentucky and the North Carolina mountains. You are inspiring me that I don’t have to be done when the tags punched in those areas. Keep up the good work and don’t stop your passion you’re touching others in the outdoor community.
I really appreciate and share your perspective. Even if I had a thousand acres of my own I’d probably still want to scout big tracts of public for an opportunity on a good deer that’s outwitted other hunters a few years. And as long as we all share the same respect and consideration it will continue to be a truly rewarding endeavor and pastime. That was a great shot on a really good buck!
@@richardbrooks3129 Yes, I suppose the biggest contrast is between WMA’s where human intrusion is 90-something % hunters on weekends and private farms where human presence is 90-something % regularly not. Often it has nothing to do with whether it’s public or private ground, though. For instance, one of the places I’ve been most successful is in a state forest near horse and hiking trails coming from the adjacent state park. So if you have opportunity to hunt any public land with lots of human intrusion it makes sense to act like a hiker anytime you’re scouting, running cams, or prepping stand sites. Or rather, just don’t act like a hunter if you’re not actually hunting. Let the deer put two and two together that they’re ok, even if you’re off the trails where they encounter people 99% of the time. I’m reminded of what a park ranger friend told me years ago. He said it was a huge surprise how unsuccessful bowhunters were on a weekend quota hunt in December in a park with way too many deer. This park is in really rough hill and holler country where the deer are used to people staying on trails but all of a sudden hunters sneaked in on them from different directions and of course, the deer started to behave differently in a matter of hours, where just the day before they’d pose for photos in parking and camping areas. I’m also reminded of a seminar I was in years ago where the guy leading it was saying the same thing, to never walk slow and sound like a predator when in your hunting areas unless you’re actually hunting. So all that to say, to a deer, human intrusion doesn’t equal hunter pressure. Take that knowledge and also “hunt the hunters”. If you know where the hunting pressure originates and is concentrated at you can likely anticipate escape routes and such on weekend or opener mornings. Last thing I’d say about the difference between public and private, though, has nothing to do with human intrusion and all about what us humans have done or not done to modify the habitat, ie field edges and fence rows of private land vs. large forest tracts where deer are not nearly as regular in their travel patterns. All that might be obvious to some but can be easy to forget when we’re trying to put together a plan for hunting public and setting expectations.
This man is my favorite person to watch down to earth I’m 40 years old and he reminds me of myself and my dad a lot everything he’s saying you beat believe you better listen because he’s speaking the truth ❤ your channel and what you do I’m going to video some of my hunts I’ll send you some for content. Just got me a go pro an tactical cam want to get me a 360 cam
You and that guy are right hunting has changed a lot. People's views on hunting have also changed a lot. I feel blessed to be able to get out and do it as much as I have this year. Just being out there in nature seeing the things I see and having the experiences I do is in a way much more rewarding than harvesting an animal. Keep up the great videos and I hope you are able to provide us with content for years to come. Be safe out there and maybe one day you will make it to my part of arkansas and I will see you out there.
I really enjoy your demeanor in your videos. Please keep sharing them. You have a refreshing perspective on the utility of why you are filming your hunts...to share, promote and preserve the culture and enjoyment of deer hunting. I admire your scrappy attitude, you relocated and found a better setup, it paid off. Your skill as a bow marksman is also admirable. As you said, " it happened quick!"... and it did. You were skilled at providing an excellent quick shot on that deer. Well done, well said and well intentions on your part as a hunter and videographer. What type of bow do you use? How far was that shot? Thank you in advance.
This was an awesome video to watch just like all of them. Fellow MS boy here. Been hunting and loving it since I was little and just now getting started trying to public land deer hunt this season. Watching your videos has made me even more excited than I’ve ever been. You’re absolutely right, they talk about all of the people in the turkey woods but I haven’t run into a single one. And if you see them at the parking lots just be respectful and communicate to avoid crowding. Love the videos, God bless.
I think it is utterly spectacular that you are NOT wearing the latest and "greatest" camo pattern! Thank you for being REAL and old-school with your approach to deer hunting.
I stumbled across your channel and really enjoyed your video on your Dads 30-30 . I have my Dads pre 64 Winchester 30-06 . When I do use it memories come flooding back
Congratulations buddy, Very nice deer. I'm going to have to get me some of those arrow heads, I know they will sure put a hole in one and knock them down too. God bless.
you and hunt the public are the only shows I watch. Keep up the good work, Im 73 and hunt or scout everyday. Either hunt deer, bear, or pheasant. thanks.
I've watched a couple of your latest shows and really enjoyed them. Like the fact that your just out the old schooling it, sleeping in the back of the truck and eating a sammich.
I love this channel. This is hunting not some big market gimmick show. I have one more season til my girls are old enough that I can start going out of state and doing the same thing. Keep doing your thing it inspires people for sure.
Bow hunting big bucks was and is my favorite thing to do. I lost my brother to cancer him and my Dad was my inspiration. Haven't hunting in the 6 years since my Brother David passed away. He was my hunting buddy. Hunting with him since I was old enough to hunt.. we always went to one another house for deer hunting. We lived in different counties here in ky. Both county's had big bucks. We have taken several wall hangers through the years. Just quit after I Lost David. But I feel like he would want me to keep up the hunt but it's so hard and lonely without him. Great videos! Keep them up
Do it for David. He wouldn't have want you to quit hunting, because he is gone. I think at will give you a peace of mind to get back in the woods.Best of luck!
Also, I can’t tell ya how much it makes me smile to see that usually the first thing out of your mouth when you’re down at the deer, is encouraging us to do the same. It really means a lot and I truly believe you’re making a difference and helping to preserve hunting.
Really enjoy your hunt. Good job on the surprise deer. The way you explain your hunting trips is top of the line. Keep up the video's. I really enjoy your set-up
Your videos are some of the best I've seen. You show everything about the hunts. I can see your speaking from the heart. Keep making those precious memories
Love watching your videos! I hunt public land myself and I have been blessed with some very nice deer including a B&C. You guys do the public land hunters good justice. Minimal footprint on the land and very humble about what you do!
And I’m in the same boat as you. My dad wasn’t a hunter but my grandad was. I started when I was 7 or 8 and I’m 26 now. Hunting has changed a lot in my lifetime. I know you have seen a handful of more changes than me. Keep on keeping on brother.
Love your videos! You said it right. Hunting has changed. I remember as a kid how happy I was to shoot a deer, never cared about the score. Nowadays, it seems it’s all about the score. Post a pic of your deer and people say…. Oh you should have let him walk or he’s to young. Just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, a trophy is in the eye of the beholder. It’s about the work, the drive and the experience that we perfect and pass along to the next generation. Keep it up man. I look forward to each hunt you share and the words of wisdom.
You might not remember, but I suspect you probably do, but we had our differences about a year ago on a different video. I'll tell you what though, I've watched all your videos ever since and I wish now that I would have just kept my mouth shut. You truly are a great representative of our sport and I really appreciate that. Congratulations on another great hunt and I hope you have many more. I don't know if I have ever been so wrong about something in my life. I'd be honored to shake your hand.
Man y’all found a buck nest in those woods!!! Go ahead and send me that waypoint 😂. I will be glad to travel over there. Loved the video again as always. Y’all are my favorites to watch. Keep it up!
Hi Jeremy ! Just had to come back & watch this again ! Best doggone whitetail deer hunting videos on TH-cam ! Never gets old to me. Love Your enthusiasm & stewardship of the land. So glad Daniel has You for his mentor. Good luck to Yall this fall. Be safe & Gid bless all.
Perfect reaction to the trash at bottom of dude man’s tree stand. I appreciate your concluding remarks about hunting and how it’s changed and your hopes to preserve it for future generations. Good stuff and great hunt.
Just came across your videos and wanted to say that I really enjoyed every minute. I feel like I'm right there with you. I can't hunt anymore because of health issues. Thank you.
Man the audio right before you made the shot is wild, being able to hear that buck smelling the ground was cool. Want to say also that I enjoy your and Danial’s content. Don’t know y’all personally but y’all seem to be humble guys and that goes a long way with a person respecting a man and that I do with y’all. Keep all the good’s coming and safe travels.
Public land is our last stronghold in this artificial world we live in. Make me sad that so many people are disconnected from the land and nature. Keep on getting groceries the way God intended. Great buck, great hunt.
SO KOOL I BEEN WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS FOR FEW YEARS NOW YOU AND YOUR BOY ARE SO KOOL I LOVE ALL THE DEER ONES AND YOUR RIGHT HUNTING ANT THE SAME AS IT WAS LIKE BACK IN THE 80S AND 90S.
So very informative information! I love how you take the time to explain things in a way I can input it into my hunting story! Thank you for following your passion and sharing your stories with us! May God bless you and your family!
Those broadheads cut like butter. Almost every kill I've seen is a pass thru. V or s series, whats better. Thanks again and congrats. Love the channel!!!
Now Daniel can get in there and get that toad of a buck that got by. Great deer and awesome how you bounced to another spot. I could see the disappointment when you found the gut pile. Keep ‘em coming Frog.
You guys are the best first video I watched of you guys I subscribed watching yuns has made me wanna go out further do more walking look at different areas and learned a lot from you guys love the videos keep it up
I have a lot of respect for this man. He works hard for these deer. God bless you brother! Stay mad at em! Maybe one day I’ll run into you guys down here in Mississippi 🌾
Wright on bud! You are definitely dedicated hunter. I kind of feel uncomfortable doing what you ok ur doing by yourself but I guess I shouldn't. Heck your climbing trees by yourself. Anyways wanted to comment on you being very dedicated and a great hunter!😊
This is by far the most humble, realistic, best channel on TH-cam. Keep being you guys!
Thank you! Will do!
This is how a ton of southern hunters do, I personally got 70k public acres within 30 minute drive, I consistently kill mature deer on public land
@doityourselfhunter9031 what kinda subura car you suggest? Year and make? And is yours awd?
@@doityourselfhunter9031and what grunt are u using

If you're ever in the Sw zone, Caston Creek, give me a yell, be happy to show ya'll around. Middleton Creek area has some decent hardwood bottoms.

Public is so much harder and deer act and respond very different than private, to me.

Thanks!
Another good deer! I’m an ole south Mississippi boy and love this channel!
Thanks for watching!
Public land is our last stronghold in this artificial world we live in. Make me sad that so many people are disconnected from the land and nature. Keep on getting groceries the way God intended. Great buck, great hunt.
Thanks!
Congratulations on another great deer. You’re an animal! 👊🏼💪🏼
Just found your channel. Most realistic hunting I have seen in long time. Keep it up.

Now Daniel can get in there and get that toad of a buck that got by. Great deer and awesome how you bounced to another spot. I could see the disappointment when you found the gut pile. Keep ‘em coming Frog.

Wright on bud! You are definitely dedicated hunter. I kind of feel uncomfortable doing what you ok ur doing by yourself but I guess I shouldn't. Heck your climbing trees by yourself. Anyways wanted to comment on you being very dedicated and a great hunter!😊
