Jan , certainly tests the ability of the Case Loader digging into the frozen manure , At first I thought you wouldn’t do it with your first couple of hits at it , but you certainly know the machines capabilities and your determination. Great video 👍
We always enjoy watching your video's Jan the one thing I never enjoyed with winter as it takes twice as long to get anything done but with livestock it is one of the most important things that you have to do to keep your cattle safe and healthy. Stay safe
Jan, Love your new intro. It's no surprise we Americans have a crazy strong national pride & love our flag. Get goosebumps seeing The Flag of Canada stretched out by the cold winds of Saskatchewan over the Kielstra Family Farm. I remember your very first video and we were all drawn to this farm by a very young man with an idea, a dream to create informative art, and the determination to make it happen. I've missed only a few along the way. Congratulations on your success thus far & encourage you on the exciting times ahead. Thank you, Tyler & Family
Hey man i love youre videos they are so Mich Fun to Watch how it is in Canada cause am from denmark and you dont like much snow then try to come to denmark we only have rain on rain on rain
Good afternoon and would it help to start with using forks on the loader to break up the Frozen material. Less of a foot print to get you started anyway? Just a thought from a Michigander sir. Love the channel, thanks
I was going to write the same thing as you did. We had a frost tooth bucket and you remove the cutter bar and use the same bolts pattern to attach the frost tooth on. It also worked well in the silage pile. You still beat up the loader but it worked well.
I've seen on loaders a steel adaptor for the nose of your bucket that has 3 or 4 foot spikes that can easily get under your manure and pry it loose so it can be scooped up when frozen. Just a thought. Love your videos!!
Idea for frozen crap. Get a pneumatic hammer for the skid steer with a flat wide bit and bust it up first. Set the hammer horizontal so you do not chip the concrete.
Nice to see the vids back. Question for you. Would it be a better option to use a toothed bucket in the corals, when cleaning frozen manure? I just think the teeth might cut through, without so much stress on the loader maybe?
Would it be worth mixing all the dry feed after the last feeding of the day for the morning and park it inside? Add the water and whey in the am - might save some time in the am...
We've hired in a backhoe or mini-hoe to pull up frozen feedrail pack, saves more than half the time and most of the abuse on yer loader, worth a consider bud
Whatever you do, Jan, we enjoy watching. Thanks for taking time to make these fine videos.

I see your forecast for Monday is -28 degrees Fahrenheit take care😮
Cow Chow!
Jan, Invest in riser hinges for gates, it won't negate the whole surface blockage issue but will ease the hardcor ice fight.
Its really amazing how hard frozen cow poo is to the concrete. Stuck like epoxy.

Long time no see brother from the imperial county CA 🇺🇸

Welcome back Jan! So the way I’m thinking is that you must have a girlfriend and she’s taking any extra time off? Am I right?
Jan, looks like that cutting edge on the case bucket has a unused new edge on the back side. Might consider turning it around for better performance.
Just so you know, I.
love you more than ice-cream. So glad to see you . Hope you had some good 'me" time. Tom in Minneapolis
All good! Seems like a tooth bar on your bucket might help your cause
Jan, do think it might work to make some heavy rippers to bolt on to the bucket to ripe up the manure first? Just a thought. Stay warm!
Cheers from Edmonton.
I sure liked the start of the vido With the flag and the name we need to get to feeding Granny
Nice to have choices with straw….
Idea for frozen crap. Get a pneumatic hammer for the skid steer with a flat wide bit and bust it up first.

About time 😅
I would recommend a planning bucket for scooping out frozen manure.
Slick tyre on snow and ice!
🇨🇦👍
How well do your walls stand up to the occasional collision with sliding machinery? Makes me thankful for warmer temps here when handling a loader

only in Canada can we call a few degrees above freezing ...... a nice warm spell, or pleasant weather.
👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦👍👍
Will you ever get a couple Jerseys or guernseys?
Just not enough hours in the day for a dairy farmer
Maybe the 7211 might also need some expensive new rubber?
Good afternoon. Spring will be too. Have faith, you’ll be planting soon.
Would it be worth mixing all the dry feed after the last feeding of the day for the morning and park it inside? Add the water and whey in the am - might save some time in the am...
Have you ever thought of using the manure spreader to haul the manure to the pile?
9:48 got lucky there man
❤
In Canada do you have to get approval to increase your herd/milk production?
Try pallet forks next time on frozen manure
What about using a tiller to break up the pack in the corals
need more tread on the tires or put wheel chains on for that job.
Maybe try the bobcat with the forks on it put them close together it might help
When scrapping the frozen manure, it would be very helpful if you used a bucket with teeth rather than the smooth bucket you are currently using.
We always use barley straw for feed. The cows like it more, its more soft
U need a detachable tooth bar, easier on your machine.
Jon that's what the case loader was made for
👍🇺🇸🙏🇨🇦👍
I wish I could drive that well. Granny
We've hired in a backhoe or mini-hoe to pull up frozen feedrail pack, saves more than half the time and most of the abuse on yer loader, worth a consider bud
Tough crap, Jan.
At least you don't need to do it again for a few weeks?
How many hours are on the loaders?
Need some chains on them wheels
You need to put bucket teeth on it, and then you will not miss use the machine
I have equipment, and we have a cutting edge and teeth on it
Since you are milking more Cows are you over your Quota.
Western Canada has received significant quota increases the last couple months
CANT HEAR YOU
