    I appreciate the human element of the repotting. Great job.

    I enjoy your videos especially as you show it how things really are. Things that go wrong and dont work out are so important to see otherwise we just think it is us it doesnt work for. Love all the pots, lovely colour and volume. Thank you and sending best wishes from North Lincolnshire, England.

    You are my hero!! Im amazed at how you transplanted that large planter. I would never dream of attempting something that large! You have officially blown my mind!!!

    The black tray from the 'self watering' container, would work well under the container as a stand to keep it off the ground. Thanks for showing us how the containers are doing.

      Unfortunately, I don’t think I’d trust that tray to hold up a pot… it’s pretty thin.

    I would just like to reinforce what Corey said about the “ self watering “ pots. We have two very large ones planted with petunias and guara. A huge amount of rain completely flooded them to where the water was visible a good 2 inches above the soil! We manhandled them sideways and my hubs drilled several holes in them and the water poured out like a faucet and took days to drain. I’ll never again have any pot without bottom drainage! Thanks Corey, always fun to watch you repot the bug guys! 🇨🇦👏🇨🇦

      @@peggy-ann1961 I fell into that situation one time - never again. A drainage hole on the side of the pot at the level of the platform works too… but it’s not easy to do once the pot is filled.

    This is on my list to do next yr. Even without the petunia, it looks beautiful. I'm running to the store to grab a 20 inch pot while they're on clearance to match the one I already have. That way I just need to grab the flowers next yr.

    Love Passion Flower! If you've never done it (and have time) it's fun to watch the flowers open in time-lapse videos.

    The passion flower! I had no idea we could have those! I remember them in Hawaii in the 80’s! That is gorgeous!

    I grew that Isotoma a couple of years ago and it fizzled in the heat, too. I'm a bit south of you, Zone 6A NE Indiana.

    👀 my heart watching the petunia take a beating. I know, this is a learning video but still 😅

    Lol, I think the issue is the pot they came out of the sides flair more than the mold pot.

    My Beth's Blue also stopped blooming about 2 weeks ago. The foliage is looking full and dark green. I wonder if it's the heat or maybe bud worms or something? I'm in zone 6 Indiana. It was pretty when it bloomed, so I hope it gets its act together!

    What fertilizer do you use? I use fertilizer and water and my hanging baskets never look that big

      The variety of plants are as important as fertilizing.

    I’d like to see what you would put with poinsettias when the time comes. I want to put some pots by my door with poinsettias

    • @UpNorthGardenMI
      @UpNorthGardenMI  หลายเดือนก่อน

      We only have poinsettias at Christmas time around here… and they’d have to be indoors, and I wouldn’t be looking for anything that large for inside.

      That’s right you get snow. I’m in California close to Pismo Beach. I’ve only seen snow is over the hills by the ocean and that is unheard of. We do get snow in the San Pedro’s national forest which is on fire at the moment. It does look pretty with the snow on top

    Where can I find a trellis pot like that?!

    • @UpNorthGardenMI
      @UpNorthGardenMI  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ours came from a wholesale distributor called Marshall’s (not the TJMaxx/Marshall’s). Not sure who else carries their products, but you could check in with your local nursery. It retails for around $65 (does not include a pot).
