Hi Coach, if you were blown away by that guitar duel here I guarantee your jaw is gonna drop to the ground if you watch the duel in their another song "Hate", please check it out and hope you enjoy
Watch HATE? from this concert. I think you might feel stunned at the end of it. My wife and I have been together for 44 years. Band Maid, best rock band on the planet.
If you want to see another amazing duo Kanami(lead guitar) and Miss(bass) check "Hate?" from the same concert. You'll be glad you did it!. This band is phenomenal! Im a long time "Ping Floyd" ,"Rush", "AC/DC",Deep Purple", "Judas Priest" fan, but since I discovered for myself this awesome band, this 5 Rock QUEENs 1 year ago I can not listen any other band old or new does not matter. BAND MAID is only band I want to watch and listen since than I know it is sounds crazy but nothing I can do with it. I love this amazing band, they are the best rock band in the world for me right now!!! Thanks for your great reaction, do it again!
@@Bekka_Noyb No. I still think it is a extra level of play on words by Miku. HaroMatsuRestarted gives the Japanese idiom explanation. I think Miku added another layer by tying in her habit of changing hair colors regularly.
That's SO Miku! Miku loves to drop homonyms of all sorts into her lyrics to amplify her meaning. She may not speak English very fluently, but her written English is more than adequate for her lyrics.
Yes MISA the bassist plays barefoot - her nickname is "The Barefoot Assassin". Great reaction check out either (or both) "Endless Story" live or "Hate?" live. I think you will love them both!
She does play barefoot almost all the time. However she mentioned that when they played Lollapalloza she had to put on shoes half way through the set because her feet were getting burned from the stage being so hot (95f day in Chicago)
"I haven't seen you this excited about a group in a very long, long, long time". Yeah, that's me. This group ranks up there with the very best rock groups. I agree about Manners. It ranks among my favorite rock songs of all time including: Magic Man, Black Dog, Painted Black. The truly amazing thing about Band Maid is that they don't miss. There are songs I like better than others, but there's not even a mediocre song in the catalog. Recommendations for you: Hate? from the same concert. Even better bass/guitar conversation. Endless Story from this concert. Tear jerker, but they're tears of joy. Sayonakidori (Acoustic) from the 2021 Christmas concert. You'll both love this stripped back performance.
Now that you've seen "Don't You Tell Me", watch "HATE?" for another blazing bass/guitar duel, then watch their concert finale "Endless Story" to see the real magic of Band-Maid. Oddly enough, this performance of "Don't You Tell ME" was from their November 26th Thanksgiving weekend Tour Final at Yokohama Arena. This 3 1/2 hour concert had a 33 song set list and truly was designed to be a a 'Thank You!' to their fans. Yoko Arena is the largest venue they had ever booked and because it was their final concert on their Tenth Anniversary Tour, they pulled out all the stops. New song arrangements, the big screen backdrop featuring images from their next release, the multi-level platforms, the runway to the center stage and even a runway that circled the arena were all elements that the Maids had envisioned *years ago* as stretch goals. When Band-Maid writes a song, they don't just write to get it 'in the can' for release, they're writing with a vision of how they'll perform it on stage. That vision may evolve over the years and this song is a good example of that: the original 'solo' from the "Just Bring It" album is only a foreshadow of this performance. After ten years together, struggling against the odds, working insanely hard to achieve their goals, and in that time becoming close friends, Band-Maid has grown in many ways. They've always been excellent at what they do, but they continually strive to improve, and refuse to become complacent with themselves. "Die for you" - "Dye for you" Who knows? Remember - English isn't Band-Maid's first language although they continually promise to improve their fluency in English. Rhythm guitarist, vocalist Miku Kobato and lead vocalist Saiki Atsumi are the bands lyricists and collaborated on the "Don't You Tell Me" lyrics. They consciously include a combination of English and Japanese in the lyrics. Miku particularly loves combining the two languages in clever, poetic ways. Miku's lyrics tend to be psychological and introspective, while Saiki's are more direct and forceful. Maidiacs have noticed how their English has improved over the years. Their concerts, especially at small venues, closely interact with their audiences. I saw them at a small club in Detroit last May and during a 'break' Saiki did a Q&A session with the audience. While she was depending on her iPhone for translations, you could see her trying to translate 'in her head' as she answered the questions.
This group to me is multi-generational. I'm 56, I haven't been swept up by a band like this in a looonnnggg time. I can remember those times when music impacted me like this, late 1983 Metallica- Kill 'em All, 1990 and Primus- Frizzle Fry, 5th grade when I bought my 1st Beatles album- Magical Mystery Tour, and 1992 with Mighty Mighty Bosstones- More Noises and Other Disturbances... I have been listening to this wonderful group of women every day since late 2022. I wake up singing their songs and going to bed after watching their MV's and reaction vid's. Right now, to me, there is never too much Band Maid. I'm so glad I've seen them live and that my daughter likes them also, otherwise she might think I need help. Can't wait till this Wednesday when the Blu-ray of this show will be delivered so I can watch it many times. 🤘My only regret is that I didn't know of them, and I was missing out on the life and enjoyment I needed during the pandemic. I'm not a religious person, but thank god for Band Maid, or whoever... 😄
Van Halen and Rush used to be my favorites from my youth. And yes, I know what it is to consider another band as a NEW favorite. But, Band Maid did it. They are the best band today and from yesteryear. They just are. Great reaction guys! Keep it up. I LOVE BAND MAID❤
I think you might want to check out "HATE?" from the same concert.....also "endless Story"...which they closed the concert with...It's was an amazing show for me....Loved every second..It may have cost me a small fortune to go (flying from UK)..But it was one of those concerts where you know you had to be there...The final concert of their 10th Anniversary Tour..only happens once! I can't wait to see your reaction to the other songs from the same concert. There's also Unleash, Hate?, and the just came out with Endless Story. One of my favorite mid-tempo songs of theirs. Unleash, Endless Story, and Don't you Tell Me all already have MV BTW. I wouldn't mind you doing a back to back Live and MV! lol.
😂 Welcome back to the Magical World of the Maids ❤ Top ten Band Maid song list contains 50-60 songs. Hey Coach and Mrs. Coach, if AC/DC is one of your favorite bands, then “Puzzle,” official live has to be your next reaction
Others have brought up the next video HATE?. They have released 4 videos from this concert. In order, they are Unleash, Don't You Tell Me, HATE?, and Endless Story. They can be thought of as 4 courses of a meal.Unleash is an amuse bouche. Don't You Tell Me is the first course. HATE? is the main dish. Endless Story is coffee and a thank you mint. PS, for a song that might make you think of AC/DC, try Puzzle.
Greetings Mr & Mrs Coach.....They sure are slick & as they say, they sure can put butts in the seats, that place was packed with a bunch of happy ticket holders......I've been lucky enough to see them twice.........I couldn't get over how tiny Miku & Kanami were ......lol............Enjoy your day .......🙂
Actually, the Barefoot Assassin's bass (Baby Blue) is fairly new, intro'd in 2023. The "Distressed" J-5 is a Black cloud (a 2-person boutique luthier) Private Reserve offering specifically for Misa (Bass). She has a stable of BC PR, mostly all distressed. Btw, This live MV (8 of 33) from the 10th anniversary final show at Yokohama Arena is 2 of 4 MV teaser before the Bluray/DVD release on Mar. 27, 2024. Was there (with about 10K others) and it was electromagnetic, Po! PS, This kid from the 60's say AC/DC can open for Band Maid one day, Po! 🦍🍌
Not being able to pick a favorite Band-Maid song is a totally normal problem 😂 if you want to check out another music video I highly recommend Blooming. One of my 100 favorite Band-Maid songs.
10:20 - "I didn't think anything could top Manners but good grief" Oh I don't know, I think these other BM songs are solid contenders: Hate? (Official Live) Freedom (2020 live) Blooming (MV) Warning! (MV) DICE (MV or 2020 live) Influencer (MV)
Although I have to admit Band-Maid is certainly my more favorite band, I'm gonna see AC/DC live for the very first time ever in June in Munich/Germany. Absolute legends. Never would have thought to ever have a chance again for that 😅
This is the Yokohama 10th anniversary tour closing concert. MISA is barefooted so she can feel the vibrations from Akane's drums. Lisa's bass is as built, it is Distressed from the factory. ACDC has been playing the same music with different lyrics for 40 years, with the same guitar solo.
Yep, this is Band-Maid....and you can't go wrong with them. I have been saying for a while- one of the best bands on the planet. They deserve so much more recognition than they get....but they are growing. I'm glad you enjoyed this one and great reaction Coach & Mrs Coach.
Loving your reaction! I have to say that you have barely scratched the surface with Band Maid. Just keeps getting better. #1 band in the world!! 🎶🎸🥁🎸🎶🔥🙂🕊
As others have said. "Hate?" (from this same concert) should be at the top of your list for your next reaction. The 'argument' between Misa & Kanami, on the bass & guitar, is extraordinary. It's the best breakup song ever conceived. Make sure you read the lyrics. Another magical song from this concert is 'Endless Story'. It's the final song of a 33 song, three & a half hour show. Sensational. You will need some tissues. .
There’s a chance that “dye for you” is a pun as Miku loves her clever wordplay. “Dye for you” could mean “change for you” while sounding like she’s saying “die for you”. Who knows. Could be a typo. Anyway, as a fan of AC/DC since the Bon Scott era, lemme recommend the live version of “Puzzle”. Take it for a spin and you’ll know why.
Puzzle is a fantastic song that they also performed acoustic during their Christmas 2021 acoustic show. The lyrics (about loving a married man) take on a far different feel when done acoustic vs electric. It is great both ways.
They are an incredible band and I daresay that when all is said and done, Band Maid will be in the same conversation as bands like AC/DC, Led Zeppelin Aerosmith etc...They are a legendary band and probably do.not even know how important they are in the bigger picture. Women breaking boundaries with such such grace, lack of ego, humour, bravery and sheer brilliance is to be highly commended! Rock on 🤘
Hate, Moratorium live, and Anemone, these are my top three these days. But it was Puzzle, Unfair game and Matchless gum, a few months ago. A year ago it was Rinne, Secret my lips and Choose me, before that…
For some real fun watch these videos together - same song different versions PUZZLE - Acoustic version - th-cam.com/video/ayJtzPkgZTc/w-d-xo.html - Rock version - th-cam.com/video/zvuqmSQEnaA/w-d-xo.html @@CoachCastTV
You have really just got stated on Band-Maid, there are SO many awesome songs! For me, AC/DC was my first musical love, when G&R came along I was just floored... same feelings and fan level for Band-Maid. It really is only get better for you! Ya, check out Hate? from the same show as well. Thanks for the reaction. Oh, since you said you like AC/DC, check out Order, Freezer, Flying High, Shake that, Moratorium, Fate, Turn Me On... OK, I could keep going, but this should keep you busy :). Thanks.
Thank you for the welcome, new to your channel, this was the 10th anniversary year tour final, a very big show for them and us,at Yokohama Arena 26-11-2023, check out "Endless Story" the show closer also a official live video,I'll only say there wasn't a dry eye in the arena,Kanami(lead guitar) wrote this year's ago dreaming of playing at Yokohama Arena.
From Japan I recommend you the latest video Endless story and the instrumental song From now on. We love them not only because their songs are great, but also because we are fascinated by their way of life. They try their best to make each song great and are always humble. And they always have gratitude and love for their fans. This band feels like family and close friends.
They have just released a live video of a track called Endless Story - its the final track from their massive Yokohama concert celebrating their 10 years together. It is very different and awesome... but you may need a box of tissues!
They've released four live performances from this concert (Yokohama Arena, November 23) - this one, UNLEASH, HATE? and the show closer ENDLESS STORY - and, of course, they are all excellent. They performed 33 songs at this gig and my DVD of it arrives next week so I am very excited! Knew you'd love and appreciate this call and response special, so I should add that HATE? has one too! Also, Akane's drumwork on them both is subtle but integral to their duel/duet. Oh, and hats off to you both for your obvious love and contentment at being married and together for 37 years and I think we can all see how happy you both are - and how well you both know each other! Great reaction yet again!
Every new Band Maid song will be your new favorite! Check out Hate? from the same show, next! Then Endless Story. Also, from the same show. It's the final song of their final show of their 10 year anniversary tour. Saiki gets pretty emotional. Me too!😂 I recommended them to you when you mentioned you like rock and metal. It was probably an XG or Mamamoo reaction because it was before you checked out Babymetal or any J-rock. Speaking of... Nemophila-Dissension Love Bites-Stand and Deliver (Shoot um Down) Hanabie- We Love Sweets
This is the largest audience they have had to date (~10,000) and their first large arena with a catwalk in front of the stage. Kanami and MISA were out there for solos during "Hate?". There is also a walkway around the second tier that Saiki, MISA and Kanami walked around while playing "Choose Me".
Hi Guys, Great reaction from you yet again. Everything you said was correct- what else can I say. Just great to see and hear such a lovely couple. I saw Black Sabbath Paranoid tour in 1971 and followed them all my life, but sadly they no longer exist so I understand when you talk about a band for life. Thanks from the UK.
I'm with you on this....best band making music today...consistent excellence, and most importantly the joy they get from performing just shines right through! I've seen them on their last 2 US tours....and they are certainly an experience best enjoyed live....but even their videos bring a smile too. Don't miss them on the next tour!
Great reaction and comments. These ladies exude pure joy and energy. Band-Maid doing Band-Maid things. What's there not to like? Thank you both for your support of these amazing ladies. As others have already stated, do check out Hate? (official live video). It's EPIC. Cheers!
Kanami is a petite woman. That is why she is often called mincho. It is common in Japan to add -incho to the end of names to call something small. So you adding it to Kanami make Kanamincho which is shortened to Mincho as a nickname. One thing I have learned as I have gotten into Japanese bands is the huge amount that Japanese love to play with words. Much like Miku calling herself little pigeon because the two Kanji symbols that make up her last name (Kobato) mean little pigeon. That is also why Miku ends sentences with the word “po” because that is the sound that Japanese are taught that pigeons make.
Hard to imagine that Saiki was quite the introvert when she joined Band-Maid, but now She is, as some might say, loud and proud now! MISA is the Barefoot Assassin on bass, btw! I saw where someone called Kanami and MISA the "Six string Samurai and the five string Assassin!", and I concur!
The M/V for this has inside jokes for the fandom. They did an episode on a Japanese music/variety show a few years ago that explains most of their "quirks". A bit dated, but pretty entertaining. th-cam.com/video/R4PofsQYwn4/w-d-xo.html Gold Rush Interview Part 1 th-cam.com/video/YzWETTu-4iE/w-d-xo.html Gold Rush Interview Part 2
Had the same reaction when I first heard this band and that was before they even produced their last 3 releases which has elevated this band so much higher still for me. They're having a double gig with The Warning this summer. I only wish I had the free time and spare moolah to get over to Tokyo for it.
For most people, their favorite BAND-MAID song is the last one they heard. For a change of pace, try ENDLESS STORY. They just released a fantastic version from this Yokohama Arena concert. I’ve been an AC/DC fan since 1977. BAND-MAID are far better. I only wish they could begin to have the same level of worldwide cultural impact as AC/DC.
Way better than AC/DC, that band is only a vehicle for Angus to show off. As we had see, the other members are disposable (even his brother). Band-Maid is a team effort, no one is replaceable.
Another great reaction, Mr. and Mrs. Coach !!!! And professional help is overrated, lol. Also remember at 40 years Mrs. Coach gets her halo, so don't forget. Another thing that sometimes gets glossed over because we are so used to perfection, but Akane's performance in the song was just OUTSTANDING !!!!!! Her fills are always perfect and what she does during the guitar/bass battle is a thing of beauty and once again, also perfect. And she does it with a huge smile on her face. As far as the battle goes, just WOW !!!! Some of the things Misa and Kanami do, in conjunction with Miku remind me of the great work that Gary Rossington and company did with Lynyrd Skynyrd, especially at the end of "That Smell". And just like you said, Band Maid is a completely different animal when it comes to rock. Their enthusiasm and absolute joy in doing what they do is perfectly transmitted to the crowd, I can personally attest to that fact. Each time I saw them I could feel my blood pressure rising throughout the entire show. They are a true outlier when it comes to their relationship with their fans, it's a true love affair going both ways. And regarding Sai-Chan, she went from being a shy and almost introverted personality to a full-bore, hard charging rock and roll frontwoman rivalling any of the best. She just owned that stage !!!! And the way they set up that proscenium out into the crowd enabled her to really strut her stuff. You cannot see it in this video, there are catwalks to the right and left of the stage where the band members could come close to an amazing number of fans. Check out a music video from this concert for the song "Choose Me" and you will see them going right up to fans on the catwalks. I'm fervently waiting for the Blu-Ray of this concert so I can enjoy the entire show.
Great review. Watching the lead guitarist, Kanami-san slay that PRS in a dress, and sometimes sporting a cranberry-red manicure is something to behold. The long-haired rock band of the 80's are back. I grew up on AC/DC and Rush and treasure their music. It was sad to hear the passing of Malcolm Young and the late-great Neil Peart. But you know, I am about 25 years older than Band-Maid and most likely I'll be long gone too before they stop making music. That means in my book of life, Band-Maid will live on forever. Maybe that's the meaning of "Dye for you". Edited: Another commenter below mentioned "Dye for you" means changing your personality for someone else, which makes more sense. I'm never too old to learn something.
Bandmaid is a heady mixture of kismet and cunning. The stars aligned when the group was formed fairly organically however the firm hand of Kobato Miku guided this process as well. Miku fired herself as lead vocalist to bring in the darker tones of Saiki. Why? After a survey of many female Japanese bands, even hard rockin' bands, often the vocals are too kawaii = super cute. Miku knew this. Saiki immediately stood in stark contrast. So now instead of one dimension 15:21 al sweetness Miku is freed up to harmonize or call and response wth the lead vocal. Best texture, richer color and another unique feature of BandMaid. How can we get the attention of fans? They struggled with this early on. Dressing as denizens of a maid cafe was not enough. So they leaned more into "charm points" i.e. MISA aka MISA MISA MISA taking a swig of whiskey while barefoot slaying the bass. She is the least personality forward of the bunch and that became her image; her brand. It's marketing and it is endearing. Their sound is meant to surprise with so much more than other music. Extra riffs, bass doing counterpoint to Kanami's lead guitar and Saiki's vocals. harmonies, ever changing drum fills are all woven together until the best version emerges. Usually a song crafted by all 5 musicians and then they learn that somabitch until they can play it flawlessly live on a darkened stage with smoke and lazers etc. And then a while later they will redo it with traditional instruments or in an acoustic version or with extended new intros. I think this is why their music is so much more pleasing to me than their contemporaries. They're all excellent musicians but they are not the "best". Not the fastest or biggest or most technical players on the planet. Other players can outplay them and other singers can out sing them but by the gods nobody can outwork them. No one can out innovate them or out collaborate them or out create songs that are as unique and familiar. Their songs remind me so much of the novels of Dick Francis-former jump jockey champ in Britain. Every book was about horses in some way shape or form; some central some tangential. The hero had a main dilemma and a secondary dilemma. There was a new field of interest in every novel - winemaking, art, meteorology. And the hero almost always was injured and mostly got the hell beat out of him by the baddies. I swear every book was the same. You knew what you were going to get and the fun was finding out how the old fox created a fantasticly good story every time from those elements. BandMaid does a lot of the same thing musically IMHO. OK here endeth the lesson . . . for now anyhow.
I grew up a fan of Metallica. I had listened to every song dozens of times, seen them live multiple times, bought box sets and even convinced myself that St Anger wasn’t bad. I still love Metallica, but my theory as to why Band Maid isn’t your favorite band right now Coach, is that you are holding back listening to them for the channel. Thankfully I didn’t have a TH-cam channel and was able to listen to everything at my own pace and 6 months in, hundreds of hours of listening and 1 live show and it wasn’t a question anymore. At 45 my favorite band in the world is a set of amazing maids from Japan. Now 2 years in and 2 live shows and I cannot wait for their new album this year. Metallica is the soundtrack of my youth, but I’ve picked up a new composer to write the rest.
@@evilducks3710 A lot of it just has to do with having a lot less time due to working a lot, but yeah, it's tough sometimes. Especially after one like this.
BandMaid has some quirks with the English language in their pronunciation, their use of English, and sometimes in the translations. There has certainly been amusing debate among Madiacs about “dye for you” vs “die for you.” Sometimes the mystery is more fun than certainty.
This isn't even the best LIVE version of this song. But you can't find the Zepp Tokyo version on TH-cam anymore, only Bilibil. This one is a bit more technical but that one is more dramatic. But if you liked the Call & Response "Battle" check out the one from 'Hat?' From this same show. That one is even more technical than this one. But no, MISA's bass isn't an old one. It's a new one that's been Reliced. A lot of people these days don't care for the Brand New Look. And a good relic job can significantly increase the price.
Coach and Mrs. Coach! Love your channel. More Band Maid please! Check out "endless story" for a slightly different side of these amazing ladies. Keep Rocking Amigos!!! 👍🏼🤟🏼✌🏻
Don't You Tell Me! Oh, wait! You just did.🤘😂 As the Maids said at this huge, 17,000 seat Yokohama concert, it's "Chapter Two" for Band-Maid. What does that mean -- a new direction in music on their upcoming summer album... new battle gear... different stage show or venues... member and band projects like scoring movies, aniMaids, soloing projects like Cluppo... someone getting married or 👶🐣?? Pretty exciting stuff! Thx, Coach! 📢 JUST ANNOUNCED 📢 -- The Warning, a world-famous band from Mexico, and BAND-MAID will perform a dream two-band show! Thank you for your reaction. Maybe it's comforting to hear that you have just scratched the surface and there is a lot more fantastic music ahead from the maids. I prefer to listen to Band Maid per album because there are so many good, fantastic songs and masterpieces. that I tend to forget some songs, like for example Wonderland that I came back to just recently. It is tempting to simply suggest every song but that would be probably be less productive as most reactors both need and want some kind of guidance, so I suggest the official MV for Blooming, adding the link. Have fun! :) th-cam.com/video/uUt_JBMocKM/w-d-xo.html
If you enjoyed this - wait until you react to " HATE ? " from the same concert !!!! Guaranteed to blow your minds . PS . Mrs Coach - might be an idea to have a defibrillator somewhere to hand - just in case ! 😉🤣
I wonder what AC/DC would sound like doing a cover of this song. It would have been interesting to see male bands do covers of these Japanese girl bands.
BTW @ 5:05 of your video reaction you'll see Saiki pointing to someone and smiling. It was the members of Lovebites who came to support them at their concert. They were standing on the first tier along the rails, I think it was Asami standing up in white . a commentor who was at the concert said he was a few rows back of the LB members. I thought that was awesome, especially seeing Saiki's smile.
could you guys react to day6 on dingo killing voice? i don’t know if you’ve reacted to them before but they just had a comeback after a while and i think you’d enjoy them
WHEN YOU REACT TO BAND-MAID'S "ENDLESS STORY" PLEASE MAKE SURE TO HAVE THE ENGLISH SUBTITLES ON AS MANY PEOPLE GET TEARY EYED WHEN UNDERSTANDING THE SONG. MANY REACTORS TO THE LIVE YOKOHAMA PERFORMANCE ARE A BIT UNDERWHELMED WITHOUT THE SUBTITLES. THE LYRICS TO "ENDLESS STORY LIVE AT YOKOHAMA ARENA" MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE AS THE CROWD PARTICIPATION WILL MAKE MORE SENSE. THANK YOU.

“Dye for you” (in Japanese “あなたに染まる”) is kind of Japanese phrase which means “I’ll became a person or have a personality that you want me to be”.
Very interesting...and still a big commitment. LOL Appreciate the info!
Reminds me of the Rob Thomas / Santana line from Smooth: "I will change my life to better suit your mood."

She does play barefoot almost all the time. However she mentioned that when they played Lollapalloza she had to put on shoes half way through the set because her feet were getting burned from the stage being so hot (95f day in Chicago)
The DVD/BluRay of this concert is being released this month - three and a half hours of happiness for you to repeat through your day!
Yup, mine should arrive tomorrow, 26 March as I live in Japan, at least that is what it says. Can not wait to watch the full concert.
Recommendations for you:
Hate? from the same concert. Even better bass/guitar conversation.
Endless Story from this concert. Tear jerker, but they're tears of joy.
Sayonakidori (Acoustic) from the 2021 Christmas concert. You'll both love this stripped back performance.
Appreciate these!
This was the first band in 20 years that got me excited about rock again! Just like coach !!
Great comment. Thanks for all this info!
It's Thanksgiving in the comments, too! Awesome! LOL

I wouldn't mind you doing a back to back Live and MV! lol.
😂 Welcome back to the Magical World of the Maids ❤
Top ten Band Maid song list contains 50-60 songs.
Hey Coach and Mrs. Coach, if AC/DC is one of your favorite bands, then “Puzzle,” official live has to be your next reaction
I love the battle between Kanami and MISA. Of course, it is Akane who is instigating the battle between the two❤❤❤
Others have brought up the next video HATE?.
Appreciate that!
When Band Maid is in the title I am watching 🤘❤️
Same for me ☮️🇨🇦🙂
Greetings Mr & Mrs Coach.....They sure are slick & as they say, they sure can put butts in the seats, that place was packed with a bunch of happy ticket holders......I've been lucky enough to see them twice.........I couldn't get over how tiny Miku & Kanami were ......lol............Enjoy your day .......🙂
Actually, the Barefoot Assassin's bass (Baby Blue) is fairly new, intro'd in 2023. 🦍🍌
LOL!
Not being able to pick a favorite Band-Maid song is a totally normal problem 😂 if you want to check out another music video I highly recommend Blooming. One of my 100 favorite Band-Maid songs.
BAND-MAID gives me all the classic hard rock sound that I love, with none of the egos and attitudes. 🤘✌
What most people miss is that they aren't playing "solos", but are taking the lead for duets with Akane slaying it on the drums as backing for them.
10:20 - "I didn't think anything could top Manners but good grief"
Oh I don't know, I think these other BM songs are solid contenders:
Hate? (Official Live)
Freedom (2020 live)
Blooming (MV)
Warning! (MV)
DICE (MV or 2020 live)
Influencer (MV)
Daydreaming (MV) PO!!!
dont forget Akane doing all those background fills 👌🏽 she so good!!
Although I have to admit Band-Maid is certainly my more favorite band, I'm gonna see AC/DC live for the very first time ever in June in Munich/Germany. Absolute legends.
Never would have thought to ever have a chance again for that 😅
That's fantastic. Hope you enjoy!
You will need some tissues.
.
You will like the official live version of Band Maid's song "Hate?" The call-response between Kanami on guitar and Misa on bass is absolutely amazing.
Thanks for that suggestion.
Puzzle is a fantastic song that they also performed acoustic during their Christmas 2021 acoustic show. The lyrics (about loving a married man) take on a far different feel when done acoustic vs electric. It is great both ways.
@@bobaganush "Puzzle" wasn't performed at the X-mas acoustic show.
@@motley22crue I always forget it was at Zepp Tokyo, not their Christmas performance. Either way, I love Puzzle acoustic.
A year ago it was Rinne, Secret my lips and Choose me, before that…
LOL!

Hate? from the same concert is a must see.
Thanks.
Appreciate it! 👍
From Japan
I recommend you the latest video Endless story and the instrumental song From now on. We love them not only because their songs are great, but also because we are fascinated by their way of life. They try their best to make each song great and are always humble. And they always have gratitude and love for their fans. This band feels like family and close friends.
Endless Story is the last song of this show. You have to see it. Saiki owns the stage and will bring a tear to your eyes
They have just released a live video of a track called Endless Story - its the final track from their massive Yokohama concert celebrating their 10 years together. It is very different and awesome... but you may need a box of tissues!
And make sure you have captions on for endless Story, as the lyrics and singing are the star as opposed to instrumentals.
Nice reaction! AC/DC....Puzzle (live).
Thank you so much! We're enjoying life! And we are absolutely enjoying Band-Maid.
Every new Band Maid song will be your new favorite!
Check out Hate? from the same show, next!
Then Endless Story. Also, from the same show.
It's the final song of their final show of their 10 year anniversary tour. Saiki gets pretty emotional.
Me too!😂
I recommended them to you when you mentioned you like rock and metal.
It was probably an XG or Mamamoo reaction because it was before you checked out Babymetal or any J-rock. Speaking of...
Nemophila-Dissension
Love Bites-Stand and Deliver (Shoot um Down)
Hanabie- We Love Sweets
Thanks so much!
You have to remember this is their 10th anniversary show ssoooo now you know
Hate? next, then Endless Story, the last song of this concert might leave you in tears. Perfect reaction to Don't You Tell Me though.
There is a good chance that Maids watch your reaction video because they love to watch the reaction videos of their songs on YT😉
That's awesome!
The girls were stellar that night.
This is the largest audience they have had to date (~10,000) and their first large arena with a catwalk in front of the stage. Kanami and MISA were out there for solos during "Hate?". There is also a walkway around the second tier that Saiki, MISA and Kanami walked around while playing "Choose Me".
Band-Maid just announced they're doing a concert June 12 with The Warning in Japan I'd give anything to go see that show going to be epic.
That will be something to behold!
Black Sabbath has been a truly special surprise for us, and we recorded another that will be coming soon.
It's EPIC. Cheers!
Appreciate you watching. This band is just killing it for Coach.
The visual of MISA charging over to Kanami is awesome. Remember, MISA is about 7" taller than Kanami.
@@bobaganushMincho roughly translates to "Shorty."
Watch hate and endless story, in that order, from this same concert...
In order to appreciate other members' solos you should definitely watch the live video of the song "Freedom" th-cam.com/video/FHpuEqMAcDg/w-d-xo.html
They've got a lot of great solos but I concur that HATE is a good one to watch for one of their best solos.

Had the same reaction when I first heard this band and that was before they even produced their last 3 releases which has elevated this band so much higher still for me. They're having a double gig with The Warning this summer. I only wish I had the free time and spare moolah to get over to Tokyo for it.
Band-Maid does that to you. Your favourite song is the last song you listened to. I really enjoyed your reaction. Cheers!
Great job, Mr. & Mrs. Coach. And Coach, don't worry - your favorite Band-Maid song is the one you're listening to now. Just is. You'll see.
Thanks! We're starting to believe that!
Great comment! This band continues to impress. It's just amazing how talented they are and what good music they are making.
that was EPIC! ♥
In 1980 my first album I bought was AC/DC Back-n-Black it is not bad to have two favorite bands 😊
If you like AC/DC then check out Puzzle Live. A very familiar AC/DC style riff in that song
The comments are always insightful. Well, many of them. 😂
Great comment. Very insightful and it is absolutely a valid reason to cheer for someone's success based on their work ethic.
It should be "Die for you" I think "dye" was used to bypass TH-cam censors, maybe?
BAND-MAID will never disappoint .
LOL. Yeah, "HATE? (Official Live Video)" is next:
th-cam.com/video/yfORoQIqB3E/w-d-xo.html
Any song of the Maids light up your day....for ever...do Hate? Live
Saiki was really psyched up for this concert. She sang hard the entire time...and the final song moved me to tears.
Oh, yes. We can tell that you like this group...😀
LOL...I really need to come out of my shell a little more.
@@CoachCastTVYou make it fun...keep it up.
That's a fantastic comment and possibly very true. We do have to stay away if we want to give genuine reactions.
I appreciate you holding off for reactions. You have way more willpower than me. :)
@@evilducks3710 A lot of it just has to do with having a lot less time due to working a lot, but yeah, it's tough sometimes. Especially after one like this.
✨🥰🤘
Well, the one with several different colors in her hair wrote the lyrics(Miku), so "dye" is probably the correct spelling. 😂
LOL!
BandMaid has some quirks with the English language in their pronunciation, their use of English, and sometimes in the translations. There has certainly been amusing debate among Madiacs about “dye for you” vs “die for you.”
Sometimes the mystery is more fun than certainty.
Interesting.
Actually that bass is new. It just comes looking "distressed "
Coach and Mrs. Coach! Love your channel. More Band Maid please! Check out "endless story" for a slightly different side of these amazing ladies. Keep Rocking Amigos!!! 👍🏼🤟🏼✌🏻
Thank you! Will do!
Thx, Coach!

Gran solo de guitarra, ha oido a Rata Blanca - La Leyenda Del Hada y El Mago en vivo.
🚂- Love y'alls reactions! I have to agree "HATE?" LIVE and I think you might get a bit of an ACDC fix with "PUZZLE" LIVE PO !!!!! 🕊🍌🍻☕⚾
Excellent, thank you!
The bass is made like that. It is called relic finish. This was the first time she used that bass live.
Actually MISA used this light blue bass several times during their 10th anniversary tour😉
@@K.H.D710 after I typed that I got to thinking it might have turned up in Japan. I don’t remember seeing it in the US.
@@sjnix7044 Yep, MISA used it in Japan. I remember seeing it at least twice last year.
Have fun! :)

Thank you for this info!
If you enjoyed this - wait until you react to " HATE ? " from the same concert !!!!
Guaranteed to blow your minds .
PS . Mrs Coach - might be an idea to have a defibrillator somewhere to hand - just in case ! 😉🤣
LOL! "Hate?" has been mentioned quite a bit today. Going to have to do that one.
Time to get back to Nemophila
Seize The Fate live
L8ke 6
I take it you haven't seen Hate yet because that is just an appetiser.
Your favourite BM song will be last/next one.
LE sserafim smarf OFFICIAL Reaction
I agree with HATE? being the next, but you better pump up the AC if this once made sweat :)
Try Band maid Without holding back instrumental
I wonder what AC/DC would sound like doing a cover of this song. It would have been interesting to see male bands do covers of these Japanese girl bands.
Haha! That would be epic!
@@denabach That's fantastic to hear they support each other.
Subbed
Welcome!
@@CoachCastTV enjoying your reactions to bandmaid. As others mentioned pls watch live endless story with captions.
Watch HATE!!!!!AS WELL
could you guys react to day6 on dingo killing voice? i don’t know if you’ve reacted to them before but they just had a comeback after a while and i think you’d enjoy them
WHEN YOU REACT TO BAND-MAID'S "ENDLESS STORY" PLEASE MAKE SURE TO HAVE THE ENGLISH SUBTITLES ON AS MANY PEOPLE GET TEARY EYED WHEN UNDERSTANDING THE SONG. THANK YOU.
Appreciate the tip!
