Fascinating stuff...im curious how many reversals there are in the GTAV heists. I suspect they are there and plentiful but IMO they feel...artificial. Like when Trevor steals the sub and then Lester immeditaely tells them they cant do that and they all just agree. It feels like forced drama and is likely because GTAV was structured around the heists rather than having heists naturally serve the story. GtaIv has no such problem and i think thats why its one heist is so powerful. Great video and keep up the good work! Just subscribed and gonna watch some more!
The thing is, later GTA games have YOU, the PLAYER, set up the heists, do all the planning, the casing, the recruiting, and those reversals you mention can't occur without ruining all that work, which pisses players off. The reversals work in GTA 4 because Niko didn't have to set up the robbery. He just had to grab the cash and get out.
