That thought went through my mind while editing. I'm glad that I will always have this trip to look back on. Now I've just got to capture a memory on TH-cam with my older daughter.
When I was a little girl, maybe in the 3rd grade, my Dad let me skip school one Wednesday. We went fishing on Lake Ouachita and caught a cooler full of fish. My Mom was so happy and that weekend, we had a fish fry with fried potatoes, hush puppies and all sorts of good things to go with the fish. It was a wonderful time spent with my Daddy, that will always be etched into my memory. As a family, we'd always go fishing and camping at the lakes near my home - such good memories. I think it is great that Adele got to drive the truck and go camping with her Dad in this episode. Father/daughter time is super important; and we appreciate y'all for letting us tag along with you both. Thank you so much!! Take care and be safe! 😊💖🙏🌹
Daughters are so precious , as a Dad ya just want to keep them from the world trying to ''grind them'' as long as you can! We are both blessed that our Daughters want to hang out with us!
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. I go back and watch this a few times a year. It has brought a tear to my eye seeing my little girl. The kids grow up so fast. Adelle is 18 now. Where does the time go. The good news is that she will be making another appearance next month. We have to make at least one video together every year.
Your a lucky dad. I only have one daughter; she don't want to hang with me, says I'm too old fashion- not up with the times. But I'll tell u what my 2 grandchildren love camping with me. We tent camp and I have Jackery power stations, bring 4-5 gallons water with, solar power lights, and we make up r own games. Hike, fish, bicycle ride, and the grandchildren love to look for firewood so we make somores.someone's. Sullivans campground is beautiful. What fun. Be safe in your travels.
That sounds so fun! The grandkids will remember that forever. As they get older, the stories will grow. They will tell their kids about sleeping in the woods under the stars with grandma. It's awesome to be making those kinds of memories.

I just got a truck camper last month and in searching for content I found your channel. I decided to go back to the beginning and watch them all. As a father of 3 girls (grown woman) this is by far my favorite of your videos so far. Enjoy every moment with her that you can!
OMG- what a great gal! I LOVE her! She reminds me of our Ronnie (when she was between say 14 - 17). Willing to fish, easy to hang with (3 brothers- you bet she hangs well with the guys!) and plenty goofy for lots of easy laughter to boot. But, I also had to check her shorts for frogs prior to laundry when the kids were little! It's awesome that the North Shore is close enough to get too on a hot day, and- far enough to feel like you're away from home as well. That 15-20 degree drop in temps is fabulous. What a nice trip- so glad you shared your daughter with us, what a sweetheart, Kenny!! It warms my ice cold heart to see a video like that- genuinely appreciate going along with you & Adelle. Camping with your daughter has to be amazing. My daughter became a mom two weeks ago. Maybe o e day it will be her and my grandson and her fiance. Who knows, only time will tell.

Interesting light! It was moving left to right which would make it starboard side AKA GREEN! Obviously it's red so that didn't make sense (8 yr Navy Vet). Was that the moon? If air quality is poor it could cause the moon to look red. Hope you figured it out. Oh and what a great time with Adelle! No fish but it still beats any day in the office! Cheers! ~M
Thanks! And yes, I think it must have been the moon. I still have a few videos with unexplained questions.....th-cam.com/video/ZlR0UYiDDig/w-d-xo.html This video has a really creepy voice, I found out it a commercial for Uber Eats....but know Idea why it sound creepy...or how it got on my recording.

Hello Kenny, I watch all your camping videos. Love them all. Congratulations on Adelles graduation. She is a beautiful girl. Thanks for sharing yourt videos.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video your daughter is lovely and I truly appreciate the way you always find the time to stop in the little towns to show the historical sites the visits and views at all the different forests are absolutely amazing thankyou very much
Looks like you had great weather! Lack of bugs make this a fantastic summer to camp. What a joy to see you and your daughter doing things you love!!! awesome Drone footage! Better luck next time with the fish. In a week the water will be cooler and the fish will be snapping!!!
It was awesome! Dell has really got the adventure bug. I have to find time to bring out Kya. She has been working plus college full-time. If you would share some tips with me I'd have better luck fishing. You always manage to catch lunkers. Thanks for watching.
Kenny my husband and I absolutely love your show. My husband spent his youthful summers fishing Minnesota, so you bring back many fond memories for him. I just love the outdoors period, so you hit all the notes for me as well. It was nice to see Adele on this video. You have beautiful daughters. As for the light on the lake, those who know, know. Be careful out there. Especially spring and fall during migration. Doubly so when your daughters and Mandy are with you. God bless you and yours Kenny. Thank you for all you do.
@@KennyOfAllTrades yoooerlites seem to be all the rage these days. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. We have been to many of the places you have been, it will be cool to get your take on them. We currently camp in cargo trailer conversion, but the scout camper will allow my wife to feel comfortable and share in the driving. Stay warm. 👍
I'll look it up when I get back to my computer. It will take me a day or so. I have a monthly subscription service to a royalty free music program called Epidemic Sound. That is where all my music comes from.
Now that you mention it, there's not much for mosquitos at all this year. Maybe because it's been dry it's kept the population in check. I don't know? Thanks for watching and leaving the comment!
I grew up in SD and often went into MN. Its been 30 years since I camped and canoed the voyager park. It was great but What I recall is mosquitos, ticks and sometimes leeches.
I've had it for little more then 5 years. It's a 2004 model. I have owned newer campers and much older truck campers. The Arctic Fox is the best built TC I've ever owned. I really like it, I think I can get another 5 years out of it.. I've never owned a Northern Lite, but that is my dream camper.
Kenny, may I suggest that you put links to some of your best older videos in your future videos, because there's a lot of past videos, I haven't seen yet.
No, she hasn't. I asked if that was still something she would like to do. She's not sure. She leaves tomorrow for a mission trip. She'll be gone for a few weeks. I'm super nervous about it. She's 18, but she's still my little baby girl.
@KennyOfAllTrades totally understand!! I feel the same about my 25 year old 25 year old son! I'll pray for her safety. Mission trips are both wonderful and worrisome. God Bless.
I've never owned a pop-up, but my girlfriends father has. We've been camping together before. He loved the pop-up. There are a lot of positives regarding weight and aerodynamics. The downfall is I wouldn't be able to use it year round in Minnesota. At least i would wat to be in it at -30. I am a fan of the hard side truck camper. This is my 5th one in the last 27 years. I bought my first one when I was 19. I've always loved truck campers. I've also owned a few pull-behinds. The Arctic Fox is by far the best built camper I've owned. This current truck camper is over 20 years old and still going strong.
I did. I have a video shoeing exactly what I've done. I've been running the camper in the bed of the truck for almost 100,000 miles now. Here is the link to my truck camper suspension modification video. It's a few years old, but I think it's a really informative video. th-cam.com/video/Msqnosna8N8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-ux5O8PTdPD3VAan

So great seeing Dad and daughter enjoying a trip together! My kids were grown and gone by the time I took up RVing. I wish I hadn’t waited so long… I think they would have loved it! Enjoy these precious experiences while you can. Adele will be grown and gone before you know it!!
So true. They grow up so fast!
I still have a few videos with unexplained questions.....th-cam.com/video/ZlR0UYiDDig/w-d-xo.html
This video has a really creepy voice, I found out it a commercial for Uber Eats....but know Idea why it sound creepy...or how it got on my recording.
The Moon! It was the mooooooooon!
Bingo! But prefer to think it has something to do with cryptic's, aliens, or something out of this world!
I’m thinking maybe that was the International Space Station. Adorable episode. Great music.
Excellent video Ken
Hello. Great to see your Daughter out with you. Thank you again. Been fighting cancer so don't get out.Makes me feel like I am out and about .Thank you and god bless
Stay strong my friend! Hearing the word cancer is always scary. But you got this! I appreciate you hanging out with us on these weekend adventures.
This is awesome. Every year we stay just North of Silver Bay at Fenstad's Resort.
I love that part of the state.
What a great video Kenny. Oh what I wouldn’t give to have had moments like this with my dad. To have gone fishing with him. To have mattered to him. You’re both so lucky and blessed to have each other and even better it shows you both know that, which is great. I’m so glad for you both 💕💕
Another enjoyable video family is everything including Toby
Hello Kenny, I watch all your camping videos. Love them all. Congratulations on Adelles graduation. She is a beautiful girl. Thanks for sharing yourt videos.
Kenny, you have a beautiful daughter!
I appreciate that. 😊
Such a nice video, making memories with dad, just can't get any better! 🤗
Absolutely!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this video your daughter is lovely and I truly appreciate the way you always find the time to stop in the little towns to show the historical sites the visits and views at all the different forests are absolutely amazing thankyou very much
You are so kind. I really appreciate that.
Adele is so cute don’t know how I missed this one so glad it popped up 🥰
I had seen her in an earlier video I bet she keeps you laughing 🤪🤪❤️😂
She does, Adelle is such a sweet heart. She has been in 2 videos now. I'm gonna try to make it a tradition every year. I would love to do even more!
What an awesome comment. Thank you so much..
Hi Kenny this is a treasure of video❤ God bless you and daughter🇳🇴🇺🇸
Thanks so much
Remember highbank means deeper water for summer time fishing
Wonderful vid
Thanks, I go back and watch this video every now and then. The kids grow up fast.
We were up that way, we stayed at Gooseberry Falls and Judge C.R. Magney. We like to agate hunt.
Beautiful parks on the North Shore.
I was up in UP a few months ago looking for Yooperlite. I stayed up on High Rock Bay it was amazing!
Stay warm. 👍
great vids Kenny. !! who is this band singer ?
I'll look it up when I get back to my computer. It will take me a day or so. I have a monthly subscription service to a royalty free music program called Epidemic Sound. That is where all my music comes from.
Great video, but I didn't see much mosquito swatting?
Now that you mention it, there's not much for mosquitos at all this year. Maybe because it's been dry it's kept the population in check. I don't know?
Thanks for watching and leaving the comment!
I grew up in SD and often went into MN. Its been 30 years since I camped and canoed the voyager park. It was great but What I recall is mosquitos, ticks and sometimes leeches.
They can! But do you really want them to?
.when did you get the new camper..the Arctic fox??
I've had it for little more then 5 years. It's a 2004 model. I have owned newer campers and much older truck campers. The Arctic Fox is the best built TC I've ever owned. I really like it, I think I can get another 5 years out of it.. I've never owned a Northern Lite, but that is my dream camper.
Kenny, may I suggest that you put links to some of your best older videos in your future videos, because there's a lot of past videos, I haven't seen yet.
That's a great idea. I will have to start doing that. Thanks for watching the older content.

Hi Kenny! Im watching this video currently June 2024, did Adele start on her camper build? Really enjoying your videos!
God Bless.
If I were Kenny, I’d plan to get a Starlink satellite dish. That way he would always have internet and telephone service.
I would love to see a video with all three girls and toby
Nice video.
Since you like boondocking did you consider a pop up truck camper? Just curious.
Have you had any problems with your artic fox? Enjoy!
@@KennyOfAllTrades thank you. Did you have to modify your current truck like airbags with the artic fox.
I did. I have a video shoeing exactly what I've done. I've been running the camper in the bed of the truck for almost 100,000 miles now. Here is the link to my truck camper suspension modification video. It's a few years old, but I think it's a really informative video.

Can I ask what mirror camera you use and is it wireless? Thanks
www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07ZF9FK6W?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
I really love the camera. There is so many easy to use features. I would recommend it. Unfortunately it's not wireless.
Let me know if the link works.
@@KennyOfAllTrades How do you disconnect when the camper is off?
@@KennyOfAllTrades Would you show how the wires are run please. Yes the link worked.
I think Vic will know what that light is, ha ha, he loves that stuff
I think he figured it out...he said it was the moon. I think he's probably right
Are you going to Rome wiscon i
We were up on the North Shore. I'm not sure if I'll get to southern Wisconsin this year. Thanks for watching!
My comment was for episode “22” lol
