Wow! Fantastic fish 👍🏻 I'm an old chap, I've fished for over 60 years......never had perch like that 😳 this year I got myself some light lure tackle and my youngest son has joined me........we've had quite a few but nothing like those......well done mate👍🏻 great video....thanks......subbed.
The fishing down south looks unreal. They’ve clearly been gorging on craws so are used to looking down for their meals. Been using finesse jigs for years that I ordered from twh and had nothing like this up north in the canals it’s brutal up here 😂 need to put some trips in down there
Superb captures I'm definitely getting some Zman lures I've just treated my self to prism x 5-21g not exactly BFS but its got a nice action all the same. Oh hello Carl, I thought that was you in the Carl & Alex's tutorial video cross over channel wicked 👍👍
Your videos got me onto the Z-man stuff and proper technique and it's proven to be a real blank saver on my local waters which aren't packed with fish. Very informative stuff, cheers.
Hi Grant! That is awesome to hear mate. I'm so glad it's working for you and that you're banking fish in a tough location and enjoying it that's what it's all about. Thanks for watching the vids mate. I genuinely appreciate it! Cheers mate and tight lines! 👊🙌
Hi Adam, yet again great information regarding winning methods and baits for targeting big Perch, keep it coming. P. S love the new garden bud, one lucky guy with that at the back of your house.
How cool is that ? A clear stream running behind your garden. Jealous ? Yeah just a bit, lol. Nice one mate. Good information as always. Cheers mate. Mick.
@@Watercraftfishingtv yeah definitely crazy to have a stream at the bottom of your garden, but wot a 'backdrop' for your vids. Loving wot you do mate. Looking forward to ur next vid. Cheers mate. Mick.
Hi Adam, cheers mate for another great video. Great to have a few trout in the back garden to! Managed to get myself the Major Craft MSX 68ML and put my AbuMGxtreme on it so look forward to the review. Beautiful light setup, just need to practice the casting a bit more. Only real problem is no hookeeper. Look forward to following you again through the season.👍👍👍👍🎣🎣
Hi Paul. Thanks for watching and I'm so glad it was worth a watch! That's very exciting indeed. Let me know how you get on with it. Hope it goes well. Tight lines for the season mate and I look forward to hearing how you get on. 👊🙌
@@Watercraftfishingtv It was a blank for me and my mate the Carp were boshing every were may be the noise put them off who knows but you have to be in it to win it better than sat at home wishing you had gone fishing.
Another great video Adam. I now know I'm using a rod with the wrong action for BFS. The problem now is to persuade my wife that I REALLY need another rod.
Great video as always, would you consider doing another video on additional kit for beginners like what nets and other gear you would recommend? Cheers
Adam your channel is probably the best on YT at the moment, and being relatively inexperienced on rivers I would like your views on when perch switch from fry to crayfish from autumn to winter time?
Hi John you're very kind mate. Thanks for watching. I personally think the time is now and I also have a feeling the really big ones never stop eating Crays throughout the year! 💯 Thanks for watching and tight lines for the season ahead mate! 👊🙌
Hi mate great video what colours are u recommending as I would like to try for big perch so may u reply with a list of things I should buy please lure colours/ lures and weighted hooks etc also make u make a video on rigging on certain hooks thanks mate
Adam, I'm starting off lure fishing, and have managed to get a rod and reel from a friend of mine that's short of cash. The rod is a Major Graft Skyroad wind custom 772 MW. Its casting weight is up to 3/4 of an ounce. Will it be too heavy for perch please. The either rod is for a multiplier with the same weight casting, but a bit shorter at 6.6''Major Craft again. What are there average weight plastics you cast, do perch feel 10 grams if used when they pick up a lure? I do understand if the lure is too light, it gets difficult to cast on a multiplier? Thanks Adam.
Hi, on your Gamakatsu hooks, do you go for the wide gape variety or do you sometime try the narrower EWG worm hooks? Just asking as wondering if the wide gape increases chance of them feeling the hook when they bite? Big thanks - JP
I wouldn’t worry about the hook size. It’s usually the weight of the Cheb or bullet weight that causes them to drop it. When you get a big one to commit they will usually inhale it all and you will hook them, but 99% of the time when you catch perch it’s wasps so they will nip at the tail even with a finesse trd size bait as they’re that small that they can’t eat it
Hi mate. Thanks for watching the video! No worries mate I'll try and drop it in the next video. Send me a msg on isnta if you want and I can try and answer in a quick vid just to you. Thanks again for watching mate! 👊
