These multiplying Agnes's are giving me Strangerville vibes, like you're gonna find a secret lot in Henford on Bagley that's just growing a crop of Agnes's lol
Why aren’t Agnes seeds available to the rest of us to purchase in the giant crop section?! Along with ones for her handbag so they are harvested together, ready to smack any Sims even considering PDA.
Honestly, I don’t see anything wrong with keeping the lifespan on long, especially since you were considering giving the potion of youth anyways. And if anything, you could just age the kids up earlier than the game recommends. But also, I feel like they’ve all been young adults for way too long. I think if anything, once Angus ages into a teen, they should be aged into adults.
I learned something! Put cross stitch in your Sims inventory, not the household inventory, and you'll be able to click it and get an option to make it hangable. Similar to when you mount a fish. Totally stupid and unnecessary step, but I'm so glad that I can finally hang my cross stitch on the wall!
I love when we get to the part of the let's play where the lot barely makes functional gameplay sense, and the struggle keeps adding to the story it was built from. It really feels lived in and like a family home. Even when it's hard to get things accomplished with so much going on, it's still nice to sit back and see the product of so much time and effort that James and our lovely community have built over this let's play. But that's part of the beauty of let's plays! I'm excited for the next generation, and getting to watch and partake in the building of something wonderful that brings us all together in a unique way! Thank you to James and the community we have, let's keep playing! ❤
If you’re planning to do paint by reference with that INCREDIBLE view, please consider the mod by the late Scumbumbo that “allows” filters on paintings. It fixes the awful pixelated, blurry paint by reference painted by using those filters. Hope that makes sense🙂
If it's an old house, the upstairs space with the corridor connecting small rooms makes perfect sense as the staff quarters. Historically, staff living spaces were kept out of sight with secret or disguised doors to stairs that would lead to the attic rooms. As you can imagine, in the winter it would be really cold, and in summer it would be swelteringly hot
Chaz: Almost... there... Trenton: Hazel dont you think it's a little ridiculous to have your office and art space all up here? Hazel: Nah it's fine, we didn't have anything to put up here plus it's an efficient use of space. Chaz: Do you want us to bring your woodworking table here too? Hazel: Don't be silly Chaz.

I love the rooftop studio space! Not done with the video yet, but I'd love to see Hazel paint views of the farm. Please do put this lot on the gallery sometime, I'd love to have it in my game.
I'm so happy there's a new video today omg. I think if you want to age up the kids but not necessarily the adults yet you could just pick a random calendar day as their birthdays and age them up in game with a cake
Trenton and Hazel's green relationship bar is only midway - they're still romantic but barely friendssss. You should make the family interact more or else they're just roommates :"
I know everyone keeps saying super short videos are the thing because we don't have attention spans but I am loving these longer videos 😄 Thanks for another one James!
It’s totally possible to have the kids be young adults with the parents adults. My kids are mid to late 20’s and I’m mid 40’s. Some days I feel like life fast forwarded to elder on me, but technically still count as an adult 😄
I think the dollhouse is in the way in the toddlers room. Which may explain why Hazyl couldxn't put away the chicken even though they can leave and enter the room. Sims logic is a lil wonky at best.
We have attic space too, with the ladder. It’s some “storage” and like a little small space for kids. A tent, since toddlers can’t use the ladder. Other skill building child items. A child’s place to ‘hide’ from toddler siblings.
I wish Chas would get fed up with all the chaos, leave the farm to Trenton, Hazel, and the kids, and move back to his alleyway where he can start again, penniless and running around the village in his underwear. Those were my favorite episodes and this is my favorite series, so I would be fine with Chas, being the eccentric soul that he is, walking away from it all and starting all over again, scrounging for berries in the Bramblewood and eating free chips at the pub.
I think Trenton should give Hazel the potion of youth as a romantic gift. Their relationship's been a little neglected... Also, it'd be nice to see the kids out in the garden too since kids can garden now too 🤗
I was dying at these back to back sentences in the span of 15 seconds: "I don't know if chickens can go upstairs, I guess we will find that out-" "Oh boy, this robot is broken again. My unbreakable vacuum always seem to break, ya know." "Oh no. A rabbit has died."
@@MysticEagle4 I think this happens when you just have unharvested crops when you enter build mode, they become harvested into the inventory. This seems to be the case in my current save game at least.
I think it could also be sims outside of your household harvesting crops for you. Sometimes the Henford on Bagley NPCs visit my sim’s house and do some gardening for me. My sim’s family (not in the household) also autonomously gardens when they come over.
I've missed James' videos. Hazel, Chaz and Trenton need to be adults and then age up the kids in the episode after that. Edit: When you are with a sim out of the house, there should be an option for the sims at home to take care of themselves. If you, as the current sim, click on the sims that are at home, there should be a "care for self" option and the sims will take care of their needs.

Also Hazel had an easel in her personal inventory the whole time, lol. 😂 I love her dangerous rooftop studio !
James you could have Trenton buy the Potion of Youth, visit the Rags to Repayment townhomes in Britechester, and use the cloning machine in the basement
The produce thing has happened to me too, and my theory is that if you don’t harvest them some stuff will end up in your household inventory (so produce won’t going to waste). I remember testing this out but I don’t remember how, but you should check if the numbers go up after like a day!
You can use Trenton's points to buy the potion of youth and just give it to the sim that needs it most, since it's an inventory item that can be transferred.

Ooh can you try to build a pool next to the pond (and try to blend it in to make it look like it's part of the pond)? It would be cool and makes sense since they have such a huge place and nowhere to (technically) swim🙃
Why do you want hazel, chaz and Trenton to stay young adults? Wouldn’t it be kinda weird if Angus and Nina age up and their parents are still at the start of the YA lifespan?
I agree with Ette. Since the Rags to Riches series are supposed to be semi-legacy, having these three adults stay YA feels wrong/weird, even if we don't have a new game or expansion pack atm for the new generations
I started watching Bigwallet series from ep.1 in around Feb 2020... and TODAY's the day when I finally caught up! but wait, now I have to wait for the next episode?! 😳 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
James I think I might have discovered something. I had a save where the family had plants and there was a few days where my sims didnt get around to harvesting the plants and whenever that happened I found the plants in the household inventory. So what I think happened is that when the new plants come in if you havent harvested the plants then they go into your inventory so that new plants can come up.
You could use the money bin to get rid of the produce. That way you get some money but not an outrageous amount. Also maybe age the kids up by ´100 baby challenge ´ rules.
The reason you keep getting produce in your family inventory is that when you go in and out of your lot if you have harvestables ready to harvest they automatically harvest and go into your inventory and they will just build up there. And since all of your plants are perfect because if you’re chickens you’re getting more off each plant
3:30 you could put some lights in the room. Then they would be lit with "indoor" lighting so they'd still look a bit different to the one that's outdoors but it would be less obvious than being completely dark. If you tinted the lights to cool white that might look more like outdoors. They would appear to glow at nightime but maybe that would look cool.
Thinking about the upcoming wedding game pack, did Trenton and Hazel ever get married officially? That'd be a good excuse to show off the new pack when it releases or if it does have a new job then maybe the heir could show it off.

What's the point of keeping them as young adults with potion of youth? Last time you had to Thanos snap like 10 households to make the timeline make sense. Just peep how many days it usually takes on shorter lifespan and age up kids manually while keeping the aging off/long.
Suggestion: have Trenton and Hazel have another baby, and them move the oldest child into one of the "attic/Tower rooms" or have it as a cool hangout/den for the kids
I know this will probably get buried in the comments, but you could change the fence slightly. Let the first part end at the gate, then place the second part in there the same way you did that 1m long piece. That way the pillar is right next to the gate instead of 1m from the end.
