- Highlights from the 6th Midlands Air Festival at Ragley Hall, Alcester. The RAF Red Arrows made their 2024 UK debut, back to full 9-ship strength, but the most eye-catching participants came in the form of a line up of rare warbirds and classic jets from across Europe: Draken, Sabre, Gnat, Bronco, B-25, DC-6 and more. As usual, the festival included plenty of barnstorming, ballooning and pyrotechnic action. The RAF Typhoon display team performed a moving tribute to Sqn. Ldr. Mark Long.

Wonderful! It was great weather on Sunday, not much on Saturday!
Outstanding episode as always! I was gutted I couldn't get to the UK for this one so I was extremely pleased this was covered so beautifully. Big thanks from Portugal!

I had an amazing time on both Friday and Sunday, and i will definitely be coming back next year.
I have an amazing time on the Friday show watching the first Red arrows display is so good to see it’s full diamond ♦️ 9 formation with some cool features I think I absolutely loved the anniversary break writing 60 in the sky was just spectacular 😮

It looks like a show that's really getting better and better attracting all kinds of unique participants.
With the Gnat, Draken and Jet Provost and Sabre (albeit it didn't make it) it suggests that this year could be the beginning of a slow return of classic jets displaying in the UK.
I'm really looking forward to Cosford and RIAT.

Part of me was wondering whether the Gnat will go to Cosford to fill in for the Vampire.
