What a nice video. I went to this event driving all the way from Switzerland. I have so many good memories of Duxford from my years in Cambridge in the 1990's.
I hope it was worth the drive! Can’t wait to visit Switzerland for Axalp next year, such a beautiful country
@@Avi8Jack It was an absolute treat like always. Duxford has one of the best military and civil aircrafts museums and airshows worldwide. I will go to Axalp as well, but this year already.
Really is something else seeing these aircraft in person!

A great show yesterday with blue skies and sunshine
So I heard! Glad the weather picked up, Saturday wasn’t great weather wise, thankfully stayed dry though

I was there on Saturday I loved it all every bit was my fav I couldn’t have got a better early birthday present and I genuinely couldn’t have chosen a best bit 😅❤😂

I’d have to say Sally B and P51 display - was my first time seeing that and didn’t disappoint!
I wad in the museum with the SR-71
Likewise - it was my first time in the actual museum, great collection and variety of aircraft!
Where was you on the site? Looks a good spot, we struggled to find somewhere ok to get good taxi pictures
I started next to Sally B then moved along to the East side of the airfield where the flying bulls DC-6 was parked

I only went to the Saturday show but I heard yesterday was even better, especially since the weather was a lot nicer, glad you enjoyed it!
My plane is the one they defended the white cliffs of Dover and I am from stoke on Trent and where the man himself was born thats the clue

Yeah Saturday, was a great show but the weather looked so much nicer on the Sunday
@@Avi8Jack it was! I actually got sunburned slightly which literally never happens. Shame we got no Dakotas though, not really
Lol so did I on the Saturday as I burn very easily even if the sun is behind the clouds
