This was honestly the best bit of the movie. It should have all been like this, dinosaurs with ppl, wreaking havoc... definitely a missed opportunity
The director did say the movie wasn't going to be about Dinosaurs wreaking havoc on cities and people, but we it was obvious we were going to get a scene like this in the movie, for sure.

@@mcsquilliams7044They were trained to kill any assigned target. Just pointing the laser to the target and triggering the acoustic signal and they will start chasing and hunting the target down.
@@pannathonthamjamrassri125the acoustic signal part was only for the indoraptor which was not in this movie. It was in fallen kingdom. In dominion, the atrociraptors would attack only by the laser, no sound required.

Eh they be fine, you see deer or zebra with their guts spilled and live for like some hours or days if no predator attack them.

What I find interesting, the Atrociraptors don’t quit until their primary target is eliminated. Depending how many jumps & twists the chase sequence had, keep on riding till sight is lost.
They were specifically trained to do so.
Obviously. Biosyn was advanced in engineering raptors for defense & attack like Ingeen was.

This is one of my absolute favourite scenes in the movie. I freaking love bike chase scenes, and the fact that being a dinosaur lover the Atrociraptors are added in the chase is just on point.

3:07 A fantastic example of great editing at a fast pace. Note the amount of shots in this moment, their duration, what’s showed, the rhythm conveyed with the movement of the characters and the objects, and how it all flows together so rapidly yet so well.
And the cherry on top, this quick succession of shots is halted with the awesome scare of the Atrociraptor leaping onto the plane, and the immediate fear of what will happen.
But anyway, really fast editing is a HARD thing to get right. This part here nails it.

Say what you want about this movie, but this whole chase sequence is incredibly well done in execution, editing, camera work. It’s a masterpiece.
this is the best scene in the whole movie and literally u can hear the dinosaurs feet on the ground and its perfect, love the fact that there is no music
This had me on the edge of my seat in the theater, one of my favorite action scenes in the franchise.
1:07- you can actually hear the raptor screaming “OW”. Yet amazingly he gets right back up and chases
Thats not even the half of it. listen to the Raptor in 3:17. He literally screams " OH NO!" as he's falling.

@@anishchoudhury8537 You're forgetting the opening scene in the cretaceous era, the parasaurolofus chase, the quetzalcoatlus attack, Rexy vs giga first fight, the dimetrodon's chase, the dilophosauruses scene, the giganotosaurus attack, Rexy vs giga final fight and the final sequence, there are a lot of fantastic action/horror scenes in this movie, it's so cool dude

That's a great scene. One day I'll have to watch this movie so I can figure out why all these people were just going about their normal lives while dinosaurs were everywhere.
You still haven't seen it? Watch Fallen Kingdom before to know why there are dinosaurs in the world. Or you might've already seen it but I recommend watching them in order than just to just watch this one which is the final movie

Best scene in the movie, along with the stalking Therizinosaurus, and the final battle.
Totally takes away the boredom from comprehending the locust plot the moment you see these action sequences.
Don’t forget about the opening scene in prehistoric times and Rexy at the Drive-In Movie Theater.

You're forgetting the opening scene in the cretaceous era, the parasaurolofus chase, the quetzalcoatlus attack, the pyroraptor attack, Rexy vs giga first fight, the dimetrodons chase, the dilophosauruses scene, the giganotosaurus attack, the Dodgson's death and the final sequence, there are a lot of fantastic action/horror scenes in this movie, then the locusts are a solid and interesting plot's element.

Now THIS is what I wanted the rest of the movie to be like! This is such a great scene with the raptors chasing the characters, and dinosaurs eating people in the middle of a busy town! It's a shame the rest of the movie was pretty bleh, especially since they brought back the original cast. There was so much potential here, but what did the movie give us as a main threat? FREAKING LOCUST!
That's what you get if humans think harness that power using Genetic Engineering......remember how many films it took Wu to finally understand what Ian and Alan told in the first movie

That was actually Panther. Red was trapped on the cage by Owen and Barry, and the other one, Tiger, was left behind.

This is one of my favorite sequences in the film,despite the inaccuracies of the Atrociraptors. I heard they were going to call them Deinonychus,but was changed into the more obscure Atrociraptor.
Good call, because in all reality, the Velociraptors ARE Deinonychus
The reason they were called Velociraptors was because they were more well known than Deinos
They may have replaced them because atrociraptor is a more underrated dinosaur

This scene was very intense in 3D 4DX, it felt like I was on a roller coaster
this just proves it that they don't make animals and dinosaurs in this franchise but they make a monstrous variant of it. The energy, durability, size, speed, stamina, and strength these atrociraptors have is just insane.

The opening and this sequence (or any of the Dino scenes) are what I was expecting of Dominion since the ending of Fallen Kingdom and that short film. Seeing how human society coexisting with dinosaurs.
Instead, it's about saving the world from giant locusts and the dinosaurs felt secondary. Like, come on, the Atrociraptors proved the two previous movies that dinosaurs could potentially used as weapons.

Always a nit pick, but I find it funny that whenever they jump at a car, that car honks at them. It can be a dinosaur jumping in their view in a split second, but they have time to swerve and honk their horn!
