My problem with this movie is that all the dinosaurs acted like humans, if that makes sense. Jurassic park had them acting like dinosaurs, with no personal attachments or resentments towards people and whatnot, they just....were. They acted on instinct. The dinosaurs in jurassic world act like scaly action stars and it was just offputting.
@@fjorgyn7438 well I kinda agree with that last scene where the T. rex and blue make eye contact are try to talk to each other but on the other can it’s just all good because Owen could train does animals
The moment when Rexy is let loose is amazing. I love how in the entire history of the Park/World franchise, they were always trying to one-up her with increasingly more gigantic and ridiculous predators, and yet she remained pretty much the true crown jewel of the entire series, and it never stops being an experience seeing her on-screen.
@@Salvationz I think that's the point. They want to intentionally keep Rexy in the background a bit to keep it a sacred experience for the viewers for when she does appear. just a small detail I noticed in the fight. Idk, kinda cool to know that she's still a smart girl from JP1.
Yeah it's a cool detail. It makes sense that an older Rexy can't overpower a hybrid so when she gets a second chance she plays it smart and smashes it into buildings and throws it around. It's what made the final fight here better than the other two World movies
It's also fair to point out that at the beginning, Rexy thought she was fighting for territory. After the I-rex almost killed her, Rexy realizes, "Oh, it's THAT kind of fight!" and then metaphorically cracked her knuckles for round 2.

The fact that the Indominus didn’t get its neck snapped by the bite force from the mosasaurus that could potentially be even stronger than T-rex shows how invincible this thing really was.
Just like in the first one.Rexy aka the t rex is the true hero since she ate the lawyer and saved Grant and the others from the raptors.Even Spielberg said that the t rex was the true hero.
Indominus's story is actually pretty sad. It's easy for us to look at it as the villian, But it's basically frankenstein. It was just doing what it's instincts were telling it to do. A creature born with power and intelligence, but no purpose.
Not instinct, psychology. If you read the original novel, a lot of things that were cut from or only implied by the first movie by changes to the story get brought into the newer films; I-rex was raised in a way that calls back to the novel's raptors; they're explicitly *psychotic*. Raptors are supposed to be pack animals, social creatures by nature like humans, but they weren't *raised* by other raptors. I-rex was already mentally unstable because it's a genetic amalgam, which is why it killed it's sibling, but it was then raised in total isolation, fed via crane like the original raptors, without contact from any other living thing, even of its own kind. Even the part where it kills for pleasure is from the book raptors; in the novel there's a whole swarm of them loose, and way more personel were still on the island. The book describes scenes of bloody slaughter; hallways strewn with body parts and elevators caked in blood. The book raptors killed and mutilated the park staff, but mostly didn't EAT them.
Who still loves this movie?? One of the best Jurassic films of all time! We need a real Jurassic park/world in the future, imagine seeing these beasts up close. An adult’s nightmare 😎👆
Did you not understand the whole basis for both series? Today's world is not a good place for dinos! In reality, some world power would use them in warfare, or humans would nuke them once the dinos started killing people. Humanity would be snack food...
I-rex: The school bully Raptors: Bully's sidekicks T-rex: That senior who caught wind of the bully's activities Blue: The sidekick who understood she was being used Mosasaur: The quiet kid
5:48 I love it how Rexy gets slammed through the souvenier booth and, while being bit in the neck, still tries to bite humans like 'ooh look at that! A little mid-fight snack!'
Ngl, When you look closely it looks more like a scream of pain that she ended early with a bite. Its not good to be in a fight screaming your head off when your jaws are your biggest weapon.
Love how coordinated they are too. Blue wears I-Rex down with quick attacks then T-Rex goes for the grapple while Blue rests. Then they do the same maneuver when the I-Rex recovers.
@@CrownedRex yeah, Rexy did kind of toy with the indominus rex at first. After Rexy got up she used 30% of her strength and destroyed the indominus though
Well technically only Rexy is from Jurassic Park, since she’s the Original T-Rex from the first movie (which I still think was an awesome idea) but either way Rexy’s more an Anti hero as opposed to a hero.
Despite what some film critics thought i am a big fan of Jurassic World. It was a well made and richly entertaining film and this absolutely breathtaking final battle is one of the reasons why.
You know Claire is quoted saying the Indom can sense thermal radiation, like snakes and if you jump ahead to when the Indom escapes it conveniently forgets it can do that cause the MC needs to be able to escape too. We get regurgitated garbage over and over again with lazier and lazier writing because asshats like you mindlessly consume cause it's "flashy" and "big". It's a miserable mess of plot holes contradictions, stupid characters, zero character building, and Universal LITERALLY changed the name to stop having to pay Crichton's family proceeds for using his intellectual property and running it into the ground. It's a trash franchise that shouldn't be supported in any way shape or form.
Some people look for too much in a film. The original wasn't well-constructed either; vials are misspelled, items randomly appear and disappear, that cliff comes out of nowhere, but it's part of the fun. Jurassic Park was fun. Jurassic World was fun.
People be telling me I’m childish for watching this and loving dinosaurs in general, ngl I cried when rexy fell to the indo Rex for a sec, but blue being the badass she is comes in clutch , will never stop loving Jurassic park or world no matter what, my childhood prevails again 🦕🦖💯🤘🏽
I love how Rexy acknowledges Blue at the end and almost nods at her to say Thankyou. I imagine after the first movie Rexy wasn’t too keen to take on a Raptor, and Blue didn’t feel like taking on Rexy either.
That would have been the fight right there. There’s a reason why the T-Rex has the strongest bite force ever. And it was on the Indo’s neck too. Same with the Spino fight. The Buck-Rex had the most vulnerable place of most creatures as it’s chew toy for a good few seconds, more than enough to inflict lethal damage.
Not to sound like a nerd but the indominus actually let rexy get a few hits in. Indominus was trying to find its best weapon which was the mouth that’s why it ducked rexy and started clawing her face so that the mouth would be nowhere near indominus. And it actually did the the same thing for the ankylosaurus aswell it figured it’s club tail is it’s primary weapon that’s why indominus rolled it over and snapped it’s neck.
I saw it more as "you know, I could use a partner, you in?" Blue: "sure, I'm in." Because blue left after rexy, and roared with her in the ending, so to me it felt like rexy and blue became partners.
You mean Peter Quill. Peter was acting on emotion. He wasn't acting out of character either. He has always been impulsive. He was intelligent though. It was his plan that subdued Thanos. Of Nebula had kept it under wraps for a few more seconds, they would have had the gauntlet. Then again, we would not have had Endgame, which was amazing
No This movie will be forgotten fairly quickly compared to the original. I barely remember anything about it and I saw it again on tv not long ago. I know multiple scenes in the original and the last time I saw it was probably 10+ something years ago.
Eh it was a good one and probably the best Dino on Dino fight yet so far in the series from the JP days till now but I'd say probably the most iconic scene in the series, also in this movie btw, is Wu's whole speech regarding nothing about the Dinos being real and they're nothing more than Dinos based off extinct monsters who's entire genome is spliced togethert to make things work...more or less sums the entire series from JP 1 to JW2/soon JW3 perfectly...just about the only other phrase close to it was maybe Grant's own phrase of them being 'Theme Park Monsters' back in JP1, though i will say Wu's is far more detailed and gives a more creator's ego perspective than Grant's on the matter.
@@bobshanery5152 Personally, I thought that Jurassic World was the best way to continue a modern franchise. There really was no way around not-modernizing it. Look up Nostalgia Critic Jurassic Park for the original Jurassic Park. You can thank me later.
This is literally just the type of fight I'd make up in my head as a kid playing with my toys.
Indominus's story is actually pretty sad. It's easy for us to look at it as the villian, But it's basically frankenstein. It was just doing what it's instincts were telling it to do. A creature born with power and intelligence, but no purpose.
Lol I get what you're trying to say but it would be Frankenstein's monster not Frankenstein.
And absolutely no understanding of the world around it

Despite what some film critics thought i am a big fan of Jurassic World. It was a well made and richly entertaining film and this absolutely breathtaking final battle is one of the reasons why.
Totally agree. Jurassic World is a relatively decent film and I'd say it's the 2nd best Jurassic Park movie, right behind the original of course
You know Claire is quoted saying the Indom can sense thermal radiation, like snakes and if you jump ahead to when the Indom escapes it conveniently forgets it can do that cause the MC needs to be able to escape too.

@Nebojsa Miloradovic zhz

@@bobshanery5152 i know the entire plot for jw and only watched it once in theaters.
Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom in my opinion is the weakest film BUT I will commend them for experimenting with the real life parameters relating how dinosaurs would be auctioned and delt with on human continents.
