I don't think this car is an "ugly duckling" at all. I think it looks great. I like it better than Teslas. I also like that it has an instrument cluster in front of the driver. I don't like that it's basically a Chinese car.
It is really beautifully designed. It's their thing specifically.
If I were to go Electric (just not in a position atm) I would put this Polstar and a Rivian in my garage!

@@drakemoschkau When driving and a speed limit changes from say 60-50 or 45 those 5 mph increments come in really useful instead of doing tap tap tap tap tap or ultimately shutting off cruise control to achieve that speed the increments make more sense.
This is good. I haven’t been able to notice the ‘refresh’ very well until now. Also good: you mention why I’d never p or l one regardless right off the bat.
Great review Drake! I have not followed much news about Polestar and while this one does seem to do a good job it's just not a bit of pretty to me and so many others seem to have much more to offer and personally. Hoping that you are doing great!

Overall polestar actually is my favorite car brand
I’ve never heard of stalks being ‘dated’ before. 😂 I would have gone with the Volvo EX40 or EC40 (XC40 and C40 Recharge Electric). They dont have the issues you pointed out.

Polestar 2 is good actully just a bit cramped inside tho. I would actually fit inside the car pretty well
I don't think you really understood this car. If you drive it like it's meant, you won't be thinking about cupholders. Try the performance version and make another video.
Yet this is not the performance version. This is a single motor rwd $50k compact luxury electric vehicle that will most likely be the driver’s only car. Cupholders and functionality matter.
