I've seen krokxigor do a death roll with an enemy before eating it whole before. My favorite kill sync animation for kroxigors.

That part made me laugh so hard. Imperials looking like they have been stomped out and are about to take a loss: They are wavering, brothers!!! NPC's always have the heaviest one liners. lmao
Honestly the Lizardmen would be one of the most terrifying army to face in battle. Just massive armored monsters, mages that have magic to devastate your entire army. Their skin as tough as armor. Their infantry are 8 foot tall killing machines with obsidian maces. They have technologies that you cannot even comprehend blasting you from the skies.
All that while there is flying creature droping from above into all your support weapons.... Must be terrifying

in terms of the composition of the troops, the empire did not even have a chance to win
They seem to have priorotized artillery and big guns more then troops but the lizardmen rly got thier asses kicked in casualties from what i can see considering empire had swordsmen,little halbs and greatswords
This was just massacre. The end could be known from the start... I'm for the empire...

The humans were outnumbered before the battle even started
Not to mention they basically just stood still in perfect formation and didn't even swing their swords as a Trex was leaping upon them. Had they actually taken advantage of probably having better reaction speed than reptiles, they might have at least made a sporting contest of it.
Letting the Lizardmen storm into there lines at the beginning was the Undoing of the Empire all along... NEVER let anyone charge you... i need be countercharge and meet them head on in the middle!
Biggest mistake was swordsmen and not anti large

Lore wise... this is how the battle should go. Remember lizardmen are biologically immortal. They get stronger and tougher as they get older. So the average saurus warrior should be the equivalent to Aspiring Champions for Chaos Warriors (minus the HP per model) Instead lizard men get tier 4 infantry that is equal to other races tier 2 in TW:W...
But, ya know balance because it is a game..
Same as Necrons go in 40k: Wraith in lore can singlehandly kill whole skitarii squad and dumb tech priest attacking from floors and walls, but in game - meh, just roll 4+ for save

Lizardmen should be stronger then elves
I believe you're over exaggerating the strength of the average Saurus and underwhelming the Aspiring Champion. They're third place in the typical hierarchy of Chaos armies, with Exalted Heroes and full on Chaos Lords above them.
Lore wise, nah. The humans have guns, cannons and mortars and even more destructive weapons. Lizardmen are tough, but primitive in comparison. The empire in this battle was set up to lose.

@@ExceedProduction i mean if we put the rat clans against the lizards, lizards are built to counter them from the start to end... heavy line breakers, and so many troops with extremely fast speed and good damage. thats really all you need. they even have built in counter ambush. "the hunters become the hunted"

I love seeing Lizardmen win. They are my favorite faction in warhammer. But where was Empire’s fliers? Also is a point system ever used?
It's a cost system. Units cost money and the funds can be set from a preset amount (small, medium, large etc) or a custom amount.
@@tunes012 Empire should have more stuff then. Chaos is supposed to be expensive
@@happywheeler4268 They are way more expensive. If the funds are set to a very high amount you will see big armies from Chaos. However what evens things out in terms of numbers is also the unit limit, meaning even if funds are set to a more conservative amount there is only so much the empire can bring (but they will bring more elite units).
@@tunes012 Didn’t know about the unit limit. We had no such restrictions on table top. That seems odd they would put that in the game. Probably for the system. But anyways, based on your comment, then Empire should have brought fliers as those are elite.

to those wondering why empire doesnt win: late game with maxed armies and all units unlocked most factions DO beat the shit out of them. and Lizardmen have possibly one of the best armies late game. they just annihilate everything.
At this point lizardmen have one of thebstrongest armies period. Which they need since they are super weak on the campaign map.
The empire didnt have a lord from what i can see they didnt target big prior target with luminark, they had little halbs and greatswords mostly were swordsmen

Right, like wtf.... Where were the massive units from the human side. I just constantly seen huge units from those reptiles just running from afar and the humans legt stood their ground, all they needed were massive units and reinforcements to combat the enemy.

Given the Empire was almost set up to lose with how bad their unit comp was, they did pretty well against such an enemy.
The animations that went into making the lizardmen are so underrated. They are so fierce it’s insane.
FIRST. Also thank you very much for doing these, i can imagine it's quite a lot of work. I'm bereft of a PC and have been for 3 years, so this is one of the few ways i get my TW: Warhammer kick.

@@pata6129They were quite imbalanced, lizardmen had higher cost units yet a similar nr. of troops compared to the empire. Empire should have had way more troops.
There's always HFY Stories if you get sick of Warhammer's thoroughly established trend of people being the literal worst (in a universe that includes the Tyranids and/or the Flesh Eater Courts).

Lizard man are greater in the grand order of things that are “good.” Or not evil/chaos/undead/destruction therefore the humans winning serves the great enemies of the free races.

@@tilco6026 Well to be fair, Lizardmen lore wise, have better magic thanks to the slann and they have much greater battle experience than the humans.
Equal armies are more interesting to watch. Just my two cents.

@Adam Khan Lizardmen break lines with their monstrous creatures. Lizardmen also have strong infantry lines themselves.

@@petars4449 That is when you send in the Saurus Warriors. Frankly you have them as your frontline anyway. Anti-Large is still vulnerable to flanking attacks and hammer and anvil.

Если быть реалистичным, то человеческая пехота вообще никак не сможет пробить шкуру огромных ящеров. Даже у сравнительно маленького носорога толщина шкуры может достигать 8 см. А у рептилий это ещё и упрочнённая кожа, как у крокодилов. Там толщина и прочность шкуры будет такая, что никакое оружие не сможет причинить гигантским ящерам вреда. Останется разве что из пушек их расстреливать. :)
Ну, люди теоретически могут брать изворотливостью. К тому же это ПРЕВОЗМОГАНИЕ
С реалистичной точки зрения как раз наоборот, ящерам пипец) Мечи и прочие подобные штуки реально ничего не сделают, но есть копья - оружие против противников, которые больше и сильнее тебя. Есть метательное оружие, вызывающее дикую кровопотерю, и огнестрел, который недооценивать вообще ни разу не стоит (старинный мушкет взрывает человеческую голову как арбуз, а череп явно будет покрепче любой шкуры). Просто в фентези постоянно против здоровых чудищ выставляют рыцарей в броне и с оружием созданным для боя против других людей) В реале против таких угроз существовали бы отдельные рода войск со специальным оружием и навыками.
Копья крокодилов тоже не берут. :)
@@Leiba_fon_Katz копья слонов берут, а крокодилы с такими размерами и шкурой будут перегреваться (да, перегреваться, несмотря на холодную кровь) и тупо не смогут биться дольше нескольких минут бес перерыва, так как у рептилий большие проблемы с восстановлением энергии.
У слона просто кожа, а у крокодилов фактически пластины брони. Поэтому копья их не пробивают. А насчёт перегрева, так рептилиям чем теплее, тем лучше. Ящерицы по пустыням вон бегают быстрее любого теплокровного.
