1990 VW Golf Country Project - Brake Lines 1

  • The original steel brake lines on my 1990 VW Golf Country rusted out. I'm replacing them with 3/16-inch nickel-copper lines. In this video, I install the first pair of lines--the ones that run from the master cylinder to the rear end. It's easier to install these two lines with the frame removed. I'll come back later and install the rest of the copper lines after I install the frame.

    How did the white clips hold on the frame 🙂

      Most of them gripped well, but a few of the studs had gotten smaller due to rusting. On those, I applied a little bit of glue.
