stretching a giclee canvas in real time

  • Our canvas stretching video has been very popular, so I've added another one. This video is in real time, with no cutaways, and I explain and show what I'm doing, in real time, as I do it.
    In ten minutes I finish stretching an 18"x24" canvas with colored edges, including finishing the corners and putting on the hanging wire.

    Very informative. You did not mention the type of frame you used

      We buy our frames in 12’ lengths and cut them. But you can buy precut frame lengths at most art stores with a fitted groove that slide together.

    Where did you get your stretcher tool?

      Those are Holbein Stretcher Bar plyers. They are fantastic! Titanium, and light. They used to have rubber grips but they wore away from so much use. I've had those for over 10 years now.
