Thank you. Great fun, fascinating as ever and actually, for me, very useful. I had been wondering whether it would be possible to print out an image as a giclee on a canvas, then work on it with paints to turn it into a "sort of original." Thanks for showing me that yes, this IS possible with acrylics. I was worried that the giclee print might be treated / finished and so it would "reject" any new original paint being applied on top of it.

I would love to know how you decide what material is best for your fine prints (glossy, matte, etc) - is it different for each painting? How do you handle packaging/shipping. Also what’s your method for pricing fine art prints. I’m currently stumbling through all of these problems lol!

Where can I find thick clear texture to hand embellish giclee prints, compatible with Golden Heavy Body paint? I'd like to add clear texture that matches the Golden Heavy Body texture.

On premiere pro I use "warp stabilizer" to improve my shaky videos! :)
I'm an artist and have ordered my first giclee. I'm excited about my next steps and plan on a 10 piece run based upon a pencil drawing I recently completed. If this first test run goes well, I will reproduce some of my oil and pastel paintings for interested buyers. I'm curious as to who you ordered your repro's from and how you rate their business model. TIA...
thanks for putting this together. - many yquestions answered. do you paint directly on the surface of an unfixed surface of a giclee print? or do you put some gesso on it before and after?
Thanks for watching! I put the paint directly on the canvas and haven't had an issue. However I'm sure you could try putting clear gesso on top and embellishing over that!
Will you do paintings of the Florida natural scenes- birds, beaches ?
Looks to me like you were on the Gulf side.. and I think you could do some amazing shoreline paintings of the Florida West Coast sunsets which are epic.

Great video! Do we need to use clear gesso or a uv medium on the giclee print before embellishing?
I've never primed the print before embellishing and I've never had an issue! But I'm sure using some clear gesso wouldn't hurt - I would just recommend testing it out an a test print to make sure it doesn't react poorly with the ink before using a good print!

Thanks Elena! If its a smaller painting than I will take the photo myself, but if its a larger piece I will get someone else to do it :)

I find Brooke to be quite helpful. Her personality is both annoying and charming, like most real humans. Her genuine approach is made powerful by comprehensive inclusion of inspiration, technique and materials. Perhaps include even more information on materials and tools.
