@Canecorso14 you'll definitely get 40 hours. This job can be frustrating for some because of all the sitting, but I don't mind getting paid to watch movies on Netflix. It's not a really high paying job, but if you wanna be home with your family and be able to enjoy life outside of work, then this is a great job to have.

I’m not sure if they’ll give you six days but they’ll definitely give you 5 and the shift you work depends on your availability I choose to work graveyard because it’s less traffic and I’d rather be working 12 hrs a day over night instead of being at work all day. Just my preference!

No assigned trucks we slip seat, but you’ll be in the same truck for the consecutive days that you work. The stops a day depend on your mileage for that day, higher miles less stops. Less miles more stops. You could have anywhere from 4 stops to 10 in one day!

I am a cdl - A they now have a course for people with class A endorsement and no driving time. Looking at Penns grove location. Is it worth making the move to Amazon ? Is the starting pay locked at 24 per hour ? Republic pays more - just asking. Love your vids - that’s why I’m at republic starting out !!!
I can’t really say what’s worth it to you but both long hours Amazon is just more relaxed. I definitely made more at republic bt did a lot more as well. Republic is definitely top of its class for B jobs, Amazon gives you the experience for soo many different avenues.

@@roccet1365 Your (Class A) license means you can drive anything. A Garbage truck is like driver a tractor no trailer. A lot easier but it has its differences. I also have my (Class A) started out with Schneider but didn’t start TH-cam until I did trash. Anyway don’t let anyone ever discredit your experience it all count and they both have their own challenges!!!

If your new I think this is great to get your experience but get out after a year because it’s not worth it, with the invasive ai camera system, drivers are seriously underpaid with a silly top out of 23$/hour, the amount of miles and distance that you do, had you ran that at fedex or ups you would have been making bank, not to mention no 401k, shitty health insurance and the ridiculous amount of micromanaging, I hope the union comes after them.
A lot of truth to what you are saying only thing I’d had to push back on is the top out pay, I believe every freight partner is different that’s definitely not true for mine. But still a lot of truth to what you’re saying.

No I left Republic June of 2022, but definitely driven some old Allied Waste Beaters, as well as BFI

Yes, sometimes… it’s freight at the end of the day freight could be busy or slow depending on the economy

Most I’ve had is 9 and the lease is 4. It’s usually like shorter trips more stops. The longer trips less stops.
