Regarding Ceasar, while yes I think he's undoubtedly one of the worse villains, I also think the reason he loses so easily makes sense. I mean, he's a scientist, and he loves experimentations and crazy weaponry. Of course he'd make inventions to help him out! Besides that, he's underground, in the middle of nowhere, on a a half-frozen half-burning island which can't even get tracked by a logpose, with backing from some really powerful people who desperately need him alive, so i think he should realistically feel pretty safe about his own position and not worry about becoming strong. Because who'd even be able to reach him to take him down and why? On top of that, he's got an army of henchmen, as well as two dragons, two supposedly deadly gigantic bounty hunters, a massive slime creature, an insane snowlady and a freaking warlord to protect him. On top of the fact he has a pretty insane logia df himself! The WG even thinks he's dead. I mean, I'd definitely feel complacent and completely safe if i were in him. So yeah, while he's not physically strong, relies way too much on his powers and inventions, and he's really cocky, but I think it makes sense given his position. But anyways, love your videos like always! Very excited about Dressrosa!
I feel Monet is underrated for how well she did as an antagonist. Actually gathering intel efficiently unlike most bad guys. She spies on the strawhats/law in a straightforward way that the audience(and Law) have overlooked. When it came to fighting, she did manage to successfully best Luffy(Also said one of my favorite lines). In my opinion, easily the strongest on the island. After him only Law/Zoro would be able to take her down and was great to show how far ahead Zoro is post timeskip. Her loyalty to the end was frightening
10:25 - Nah, it’s a fair assumption; Law’s fruit IS the “OP-OP no Mi” Definitely agree with the ranking and all. It is set up and it did have good moments, but it could’ve been better and definitely had bad moments. And that’s crazy with your final snippet! I’m surprised you got so far so fast!
@@whoopsie321 I understand not wanting to spoil the name of it, but I checked the Wiki before posting and it said the name was revealed in Punk Hazard.
that scene of law just shaking his head and saying "no" when luffy asks if he will betray the strawhats kills me every single time, lmao luffys smile and the sparkles so dang innocent
2 things. 1. Monet and Vergo are absolutely dead, as far as I'm aware. At the very least they haven't re-appeared in the story except in flashbacks and everyone is treating them as dead, so ... yeah, pretty sure they're dead. And, though still rare, this actually starts a trend where Oda begins to actually allow characters to die instead of just universally getting knocked out or always being unexplainable fake-outs. 2. Caesar being weak was fairly intentional. He's a scientist, not a fighter, and is a coward to boot. The man has next to no battle IQ or combat awareness, and does NOT do well adapting to immediately stressful situations. The threat he poses is in his ability to manipulate others and his dirty tricks, but once that's been neutralized the only thing he's got going for him is that he's a logia (must be armament-haki tall to ride this ride), and even then he's kinda shit at using it to its fullest combat potential. All of that is intentional to kinda build up what a shit person he is. And I would say we needed a fight or two with him to first establish these flaws in his character and ... we REALLY needed to see Luffy push his face in.
As someone who's been reading one piece for ages, I love being able to see someone's perspective who has no idea what's going on. Love these little reviews!
While I understand your bitterness and assuming every death is a fake out , I am happy to say that post timeskip , out of the 20+ non-flashback deaths we've got so far only 3 were fake outs , compared to the pretimeskip where out of the 20+ non-flashback "deaths" we got only 2 that were actually real
Wait, what are the other 27+ non-flashback deaths that were not fakeouts? Also I can already count 4 fakeout post timeskip death: Spoilers for wano Pound, Kin'emon, Kiku, Kanjuro (after the 1 Vs 1 against Kiku)
@@raffaelegiacomaniello3415 I don't think Kanjuro's fake-out really counts. It was really obvious he wasn't done and then he actually did die later on. Pound, Kiku and Kinemon defo were though. Not sure on where 30+ has come from though? I can only think of 13 (maybe 15) characters who had deaths, unless OP is assuming any villain who got taken out and never came back actually died?
I personally really enjoyed this arc. The set up with Mingo, I love snowy areas, amazing fights with smoker law and Virgo. And seeing the crew really interact all together for the first time since time skip. Everyone felt in character
To be fair: Caesar is a scientist, not a fighter. So him leveraging a strong Logia fruit, but not being able to take a hit makes kind of sense. And yes. Laws fruit is incredibly op. Its called the op op no mi for a reason
Funny how you point out similarities between Law and Levi, not only vibes and mood, but even their Japanese voice actor is the same guy, named Hiroshi Kamiya, he's a legend
Always a pleasant surprise when you pop up another one piece video. Hearing you gush about the series and look at it very perspectively at the same time is so cool to see from someone experiencing the series for the first time! Keep going!
Dude. I just caught up with Wano...and I started watching your videos. Idk if you are a God at predictions or just a major troll....but every video you have some spot on prediction 😆
I would highly recommend doing the next arc in 2 parts cus its huge and so much info to take in. Same with upcoming major arcs. I would agree Law's devil fruit is quite Op.
Zoro actually didn't hold back against Monet so much as he did the same thing he did against Hyouzou, style on and apply disrespect. Both times, Zoro broke through their defenses, turned, and walked away. In both cases, Zoro's opponent tried to attack him from behind, though while Zoro absolutely destroyed Hyouzou, Tashigi misunderstood what Zoro was doing and protected him from Monet.
i love how you saw the similarity with law and luffy, especially with the prediction that he might be a D. not many people saw that coming cause they probably didn't realized the similarity law and luffy has with just a different personality. i also love to see Law showcase his D clan trait like luffy and BB and many others
Well, fun video and all, but highly disappointed you never bothered to mention ANY of Sanji's moments in this arc. Without Sanji, Kinemon would've likely stayed stranded. Sanji helped entrust Kinemon to the crew. Sanji's body saved Nami from possible death. Sanji demonstrated great dedication to helping a "man", even risking Nami. Sanji got the G-5 guys to love the crew. And Sanji came in clutch to help with the rampant kids. But meh, you'll HAVE to eventually backtrack with his mentions cause Sanji's character and more subtle assistance will keep coming in clutch lol. Anime Dressrosa can be a bit of a slog, but binging is DEFINITELY more manageable.
Disappointed too, but not surprised. I get that he doesn't appreciate Sanji's character, and that's his own right, but the outright hate he feels is just un-One-Piece-like. Fortunately, I love all of the Straw Hats, and almost all of the characters in OP, tbh. Sanji was really big in this arc, since he's the one responsible for rescuing Kin'emon and the SH's eventual alliance with the Wano samurai. And, like you said, he led the G5 throughout most of the arc (Sanji's shown this power that Mihawk said Luffy had in the war of being able to gain allies with ease more than once).
@@riss0is honestly as a sanji fan, it rlly sucks to see ppl just not like sanji bcs of oda's poor choice in making him constantly simping over girls. Might be one of oda's biggest mistakes in my opinion and there is no way u can defend that.

Hello, someone who's watched and read one piece over 10 times now. I've been bringing your videos about your first experience, and your theororizing and thoughts have been very intriguing, and I'm very happy to see that fresh blind one piece experience. Whilst punk hazard is interesting, I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the next arc, as it's the most controversial of any of the one piece arcs. Great content as always.
Really? I've seen and recorded it already, so, purely out of curiosity, maybe you could give me a tl;dr why it's controversial? Is it just the pacing or? And thank you for the kind words! :)
@@Koroto I wouldn't call dressrosa controversial in the OP community. Most everybody I talks to gives it anywhere from a B at lowest to S in terms of tier list rankings. Usually the problems most people have with it is the pacing and length of dressrosa. I personally think its an S tier arc.
Laws fruit is indeed one of the most absurdly busted fruits in the series , and I think the only thing that we ever got that makes it not the undoubtedly strongest is that it was stated somewhere that with strong enough haki you could resist it , but I don't know where
Admiral aokiji is just his marine nickname kuzan is his real name. Also since you’re caught now….. how could you be so right about sabo but so wrong about law😭😭
When a DF user dies he's DF power will be reborn in the world. Some theories said that it is reborn to the closest normal fruit (because of the Slime scene) but I don't think is that simple. I think those powers are reborn at a random location in the world and the Slime DF power being reborn so close is just a coincidence.
Can't recall if this is a manga spoiler still, although it's very minor: Zoan fruits have been said to have a will of their own but the others haven't been specified. It could be that Zoans (or some of them) can be reborn anywhere they want but others go to the nearest fruit.
@@chrissolace I don't think that is so simple if it was just that then I'm sure the marines will just kill all the prisoners with powerful DF also why do some DF powers appear on or leave the islands that are ''closed''.
Not all devil fruit users are fighters. Technically Ceasar has a strong devil fruit and knowledge of science. But he's still not a fighter, he can't stand the blows and the pain. That's why characters like him take refuge in the shadow of a stronger character.
Lots of negativity in the comments about your theories but I'm glad you don't care about being right or wrong and just go for it! You just love the show and love thinking about all the crazy things they're setting up for the future, don't change bro ❤
The last time I read a comment somewhere, you were finishing Reverie Arc. Where exactly in Wano now? Also, would you be reading the manga after catching up with the anime? Anyway, this is among the best first time One Piece review video series I've watched yet!
One of my favourite moments in One piece is that Law monologue. Edit: Also caesar is like a parallel villain to buggy. Both of them are called clowns as well.
This arc has a lot of ups and downs, anime AND manga But honestly i made someone watch one piece for their first time through one pace and punk hazard was just so much better. Pacing is way faster and better, they cut so much of the running its great! only downside i had is they cut out one of the best animated sequence in this arc(smoker vs vergo) I truly recommend people experience the punk hazard one pace version when rewatching One pace PH > Manga PH > Anime PH
I enjoyed this arc, but 70% is Law (dead on about that middle initial) and 30% is them partnering with Smoker, tashigi and G5. Just like the Reverie and their friends at Sabaody Return, it's this great accumulation of characters we like who are slowly or totally won over to fight with Luffy. Yes, Caesar sucks (it's the laugh) but he gets better over time. By the time in Whole Cake you sort of kind don't hate him entirely. Sort of. This is actually a major arc bc of these connections, the road to Kaido, and Law. For a while before Whole Cake ignored him he was consistently in the top 5 in fan voting and I've always wondered if Oda kept him a good guy bc of that.
This is a two year old video so this is definitely moot point, but hearing theories of Luffy possibly being betrayed by a person he's chosen is so hard. His greatest superpower is his ability to read people. It's how he knew Nami needed to ask for help herself. It's how he knew Robin would never betray them. It's how he knew Ace was worth befriending. And most importantly, it's why he did NOT vibe with Blackbeard back in Jaya at all. Despite Blackbeard being jolly, friendly, and cheering him on to find the sky island. Luffy didn't respond positively to him. Luffy is an extremely good judge of character. Having someone he considers a friend backstab him is a massive betrayal to his character. But I hope Dressrosa changed all that because, phew.
Spoilers up to Elbaph I still thought Law was sus for a long time lmao. IN MY DEFENSE, he did get 100% duped by Kanjuro (and now Loki also seems to be highly sus) Luffy is a genius in vibes, sure, but I think he can still be misled
I love that Oda faked us out so many times with death that when Monet actually dies in such a awesome and dark scene we all go "must be another fake out death" and move on and only in retrospect after an arc or 2 realize "no she died". Hehe.
Caesar stabs Monet's heart Korotos Mystery Shack: Press X for doubt That's what One Piece deaths are like though. They're so freaking rare that when it happens, you're still skeptical as hell!!
Not gonna lie I really enjoyed ceased and am happy that’s he’s still alive in where im at right now (632). For me it was really his dark humor and laugh. I aggravated the hell out of my girlfriend with doing the laugh myself 😂 and I just love his costume designe like the smoke around him is brilliant I think for appearance he might be one of my favorite villains next to doflamingo.
26:00 … Lolol uhhh they definitely died brother. Monet died after being stabbed in her heart and Virgo died while talking to doflamingo which was more explicit in the manga
Aokiji is kuzans nickname 😆 Him getting to funkhazard is pretty simple The only way he can get the info that smokey being there is just 2 thing 1 he still have info about the navy 2 he have info with the underground community Since they got broadcasted in the underground earlier the arc Also reason why smoker ask him and doffy ask him why he is with bb
Interesting take. I didn't mind Caesar. He was clearly a guy who put all his points into intelligence rather than strength, so it makes sense that he wouldn't put up much of a fight. All of his attacks are pretty gimicks to showcase his knowledge rather than be helpful in a fight. He doesn't even have haki, instead relying on the influence his intelligence garners. Shinokuni--the poison gas that encases people in wax--was the real disappoimtment for me, as it doesn't actually kill people even by suffocation. As such, most of the marines & guards were rescued once they realized they could use the hazmat suits, which I really dislike in retrospect because this would have seemed to be exactly the type of gas to use against people in hazmat. We even see parts of the Franky Shogun covered in the stuff, but I can accept ot not working there because it's a powered mech suit. Still, it sounds like you think this arc would have been better if someone other than Caesar had captured Luffy in their inotial encounter. E.I. have another character be the physical threat keeping us from an objective, like how Rob Lucci fuctioned in Enies Lobby.
Dang mane this arc is so much of a mix bag imo. When I rewatched it the other day I was oof this sets up a lot but it takes a while to get to that point.
In the manga there is no Caesar fight. Luffy finally reaches him and he destroys him very quickly. Caesar is smart but not someone that can keep up with Luffy in a fight.
I don’t get it. How do you do these blind reviews but also do chapter read alongs on your second channel? Did you record these videos months in advance?
Yup. When I was working on the Dressrosa videos, Oda's month long break was announced so I decided to get caught up during the void month. Everything from Dressrosa to Wano is pre-recorded. I always wanted the videos to actually come out as I get caught up, but with the craziness that is youtube and all of my irl stuff - pre-recording and trying to work ahead was just the best option.
@@Koroto okay that’s great I love your videos! Really been enjoying watching your videos and your theories and takes. If was kinda funny that you thought Mona and Virgo were probably still alive. Which woulda made sense but Oda felt blood thirsty this arc
Good video, I liked Punk Hazard more than most people did at the time. I was into almost all of it except a couple things mainly the many useless scenes of kids running around and of course, the yeti bros! They felt like such filler I ended up looking up if they were indeed just filler, but nope!! At this time I didn't read the manga or look at filler lists. If something felt like filler I would go look it up. This was the first time I ended up looking something up suspecting it to be filler that wasn't. To a lesser extent, I didn't like Law beating Vergo like that. I think Vergo was the 1st person we saw who covered his entire body in armament Haki. That felt powerful & threatening...Until it wasn't. Going into the fight I was expecting his Haki to be able to nullify Laws DF, at least as far as using it to slice Vergo himself up, but nope! Idk years later and I still don't like it.
Congrats, you have made the exact same prediction about Blackbeard stealing Kaido's fruit that I made 10 years ago. Will we be right? Have we already been wrong? Keep watching and maybe find out
Also, you should stop predicting that blackbeard is interested in stuff. Spoilers below Every time a fruit with a cool ability comes up you say that he’s interested in it. He’s literally ever shown interest in two fruits up to this point, and he has both of them. At this point in the story, he is hunting for devil fruit for his crew. and it is not until much later that he goes after boa Hancock and law.

10:25 - Nah, it’s a fair assumption; Law’s fruit IS the “OP-OP no Mi”
Definitely agree with the ranking and all. It is set up and it did have good moments, but it could’ve been better and definitely had bad moments.
And that’s crazy with your final snippet! I’m surprised you got so far so fast!
come on don't spoil the name for it
@@whoopsie321 I understand not wanting to spoil the name of it, but I checked the Wiki before posting and it said the name was revealed in Punk Hazard.
that scene of law just shaking his head and saying "no" when luffy asks if he will betray the strawhats kills me every single time, lmao luffys smile and the sparkles so dang innocent
Your predictions are so scary accurate most of the time. Great job.
2 things.
Law's not gonna betray Luffy, he said said so. 😁
Also I can already count 4 fakeout post timeskip death:
Spoilers for wano
Pound, Kin'emon, Kiku, Kanjuro (after the 1 Vs 1 against Kiku)
@@raffaelegiacomaniello3415 I don't think Kanjuro's fake-out really counts. It was really obvious he wasn't done and then he actually did die later on.
Pound, Kiku and Kinemon defo were though.
Not sure on where 30+ has come from though? I can only think of 13 (maybe 15) characters who had deaths, unless OP is assuming any villain who got taken out and never came back actually died?
Yea...theres a lot more sacrifies now than any pre timeskip arc
The DF Momo eat was produced by Vegapunk, not by Cesar.
15:27 If I remember correctly that's the prototipe fruit that Vegapubk made and claimed to be a "failure" though we do not know why at this point
Because it’s pink lol

It's really interesting that you are sus on Law here. I remember reading the arc and trusting him wholeheartedly
Noooo way. _obviously future Koroto (or present Koroto?) might have some different thoughts_ but right now, he's the definition of a sussy baka
@@Koroto My logic was, "If 'I'm not gonna betray you' is good enough for Luffy, it's good enough for me"
Funny how you point out similarities between Law and Levi, not only vibes and mood, but even their Japanese voice actor is the same guy, named Hiroshi Kamiya, he's a legend
Re-reading Punk hazard as part now of a much bigger saga is really satisfying
Always a pleasant surprise when you pop up another one piece video. Hearing you gush about the series and look at it very perspectively at the same time is so cool to see from someone experiencing the series for the first time! Keep going!
Dude. I just caught up with Wano...and I started watching your videos. Idk if you are a God at predictions or just a major troll....but every video you have some spot on prediction 😆
If bro is trolling then he is on sephirothssword57 level of satire
You've made a lot of... interesting predictions.
I think you won't be disappointed by the next few arcs.
I would highly recommend doing the next arc in 2 parts cus its huge and so much info to take in. Same with upcoming major arcs. I would agree Law's devil fruit is quite Op.
DRESSROSA HERE WE COME! cant wait to see your review on that arc!
After all your reactions to Smoker and Tashigi arc I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Fujitora.
@@territ7859 I actually think that Sanji is Oda's favourite character, and his self insert in the story. Oda is just that pervy, hence the pervy gag/trope.
@@Koroto mostly the stretching of the pacing and animation quality drop
@@Koroto I wouldn't call dressrosa controversial in the OP community. Most everybody I talks to gives it anywhere from a B at lowest to S in terms of tier list rankings. Usually the problems most people have with it is the pacing and length of dressrosa. I personally think its an S tier arc.
Laws fruit is indeed one of the most absurdly busted fruits in the series , and I think the only thing that we ever got that makes it not the undoubtedly strongest is that it was stated somewhere that with strong enough haki you could resist it , but I don't know where
Wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll you might hear a whole lot about that in Dressrosa 😅😅

PUNK HAZARD VID LETS GOOOOO
I really enjoyed Joyboys theory on Devil Fruits possibly creating the grandline.
laws power is called the op-op fruit where "op" is short for "operate" but when i first saw it, i thought it was OP as an acronym for overpowered
In german OP is stands for operating room, so that checks out
@@ralfsstuff ah ok. that also makes sense because law is based on germany.
I’m not going to explain, but law is my favorite character
Admiral aokiji is just his marine nickname kuzan is his real name. Also since you’re caught now….. how could you be so right about sabo but so wrong about law😭😭
Foxy's Return is a filler arc - it wasn't grayed out at the end.

Bro. Your theories are really good. Im updated. And im having trouble not saying anything about them
i said this TWICE in your videos.. You re really smart dude!!!
When a DF user dies he's DF power will be reborn in the world. Some theories said that it is reborn to the closest normal fruit (because of the Slime scene) but I don't think is that simple. I think those powers are reborn at a random location in the world and the Slime DF power being reborn so close is just a coincidence.
Can't recall if this is a manga spoiler still, although it's very minor:
Zoan fruits have been said to have a will of their own but the others haven't been specified. It could be that Zoans (or some of them) can be reborn anywhere they want but others go to the nearest fruit.
I thought it was random as well, but if you put a bunch of fruit close by, it increases the probability it would be one of those.
@@chrissolace I don't think that is so simple if it was just that then I'm sure the marines will just kill all the prisoners with powerful DF also why do some DF powers appear on or leave the islands that are ''closed''.
@@honkworld9405 That doesn't get mentioned until the last 10 chapters of the wano fights
@@AlexT7916 he said is a spoiler.
Yeah this arc is a mixed bag but Franky in choppers body is one of the best things in one piece ever
Not all devil fruit users are fighters. Technically Ceasar has a strong devil fruit and knowledge of science. But he's still not a fighter, he can't stand the blows and the pain. That's why characters like him take refuge in the shadow of a stronger character.
Aokiji is blue pheasent. All admirals have a title- a color and an animal. Kuzan is his name
Lots of negativity in the comments about your theories but I'm glad you don't care about being right or wrong and just go for it! You just love the show and love thinking about all the crazy things they're setting up for the future, don't change bro ❤

Caesar is the Foxy of the New World. Comes up with lots of convoluted ideas, but falls short of his own mark of "Genius".
Monet hasn’t appeared ever since it’s safe to say she is really dead
“Sorry Zoro you are not winning against Law” ayooo he said it here first and that’s the truth.
One of my favourite moments in One piece is that Law monologue.
Edit: Also caesar is like a parallel villain to buggy. Both of them are called clowns as well.
I can't wait for your Dressrosa video
This arc has a lot of ups and downs, anime AND manga
But honestly i made someone watch one piece for their first time through one pace and punk hazard was just so much better.
Pacing is way faster and better, they cut so much of the running its great! only downside i had is they cut out one of the best animated sequence in this arc(smoker vs vergo)
I truly recommend people experience the punk hazard one pace version when rewatching
One pace PH > Manga PH > Anime PH
Spoilers up to Elbaph
I still thought Law was sus for a long time lmao. IN MY DEFENSE, he did get 100% duped by Kanjuro (and now Loki also seems to be highly sus)
Luffy is a genius in vibes, sure, but I think he can still be misled
Caesar isn’t meant to be a big baddie like crocodile or enel in past arcs, he really is just a tool that doflamingo is abusing.
I love that Oda faked us out so many times with death that when Monet actually dies in such a awesome and dark scene we all go "must be another fake out death" and move on and only in retrospect after an arc or 2 realize "no she died". Hehe.
Caesar stabs Monet's heart
Korotos Mystery Shack: Press X for doubt
That's what One Piece deaths are like though. They're so freaking rare that when it happens, you're still skeptical as hell!!
You didn't mention Zoro's "when you see a wild animal" moment with Monet...
34:40 “kung fu penguin” WHAT DID YOU SAY???
26:00 … Lolol uhhh they definitely died brother. Monet died after being stabbed in her heart and Virgo died while talking to doflamingo which was more explicit in the manga
20:51 first off you got it second off I love lemons I eat them a lot
Aokiji is kuzans nickname 😆
Him getting to funkhazard is pretty simple
The only way he can get the info that smokey being there is just 2 thing
1 he still have info about the navy
2 he have info with the underground community
Since they got broadcasted in the underground earlier the arc
Also reason why smoker ask him and doffy ask him why he is with bb
Bro what? The Yeti 🆒 Brothers were soooo 🆒!
Dang mane this arc is so much of a mix bag imo. When I rewatched it the other day I was oof this sets up a lot but it takes a while to get to that point.
Punk Hazard is a good arc in a series full of great arcs.

Ah, yes, Punk Hazard. The arc that should have been twenty episodes shorter.

As you probably know by now, when a df user dies, their fruit reincarnates
Before this video I got an AD for the movie "Smile"
Next few arcs are alll soo good
You'll be happy to hear that Monet and Vergo are just straight up genuinely dead
Can you believe there was a bunch of people thinking Caesar could become a strawhat? 😂😂😂😂
Enough time has passed for me to be able to say that this guy should stop predicting betrayals.
Here before the notif
Lmao yeah, there are plenty more very wrong takes coming in the rest of the series 😂😂
dressrosa is gonna be at least 2 episodes, and im hyped for it.
Dressrosa is indeed 2 videos! Glad you're excited - they're coming soon™! 😄👍
FYI -- Idk what they did in the anime, but manga-wise both Vergo & Monet are in fact actually dead.
Wasn't there a theory that SMILE has some connection to Hito Hito No Mi model spoiler?
This is the New World now. Vergo and Monet are dead, confirmed by vivre card.
I don’t think Law would betray Luffy, they’ve been through a lot together
oh you haven't heard about the theory of Law being a SWORD agent?
Congrats, you have made the exact same prediction about Blackbeard stealing Kaido's fruit that I made 10 years ago.
Will we be right? Have we already been wrong? Keep watching and maybe find out

Also, you should stop predicting that blackbeard is interested in stuff.
