I would say gears 2 and gears 3 have fps boost so you get 4k 60fps on Xbox series x beacuse there no PC version. Which I hope that rumor that the gears remake collection is true we see.

Agreed, Gears Of War brings back memories. Gears Of War 3 multiplayer, was so competitive and very challenging, I enjoyed it. It's the reason why i started going for ultra rare trophies, as I find that more entertaining and challenging, than playing online. Online nowadays doesn't feel competitive, I was disappointed there was no gears of war news in Xbox showcase.

The first Gears of War is definitely a straight up classic. Its the one ive replayed the most in the series..

For me it's Gears Of War 2 that I've played the most.
I remember getting the Xbox one for the first time back in 2015-16 and my dad had bought me this game and I had no clue what to expect. I remember booting it up and just playing the campaign with my dad watching next to me.
And honestly it was one of the most memorable gaming experiences I’ve ever experienced in my life and I’ll always cherish that memory as it’s one of the only good memories I’ve had regarding my father. Looking forward to watching to grind out this masterpiece hollow 🔥
Me too! Well, my first game ever on the Xbox360 was Gears of War 1 ahh good old days~ then I got 2 which made me so interested in the series to the point that I started to write my own story that's inspired of GOW. 😍🥺

Bro this comment hit the feels. I got my Xbox 360 for my birthday years ago. Gears was the first game I had with the new console. It was mindblowing the level up from my PS2 to a brand new Xbox 360.
I was in awe of the next gen game. Filling public matches with friends, customizing weapons and lobbies, the headshots, the graphics, everything....man...i'm grateful for the experience man I swear. Such an amazing game. The most fun multiplayer experience I've ever been apart of.
Played this when I was 11 years old. It really defined my life as I went on to play this series for almost a decade later. It's just a masterpiece. Thank you for playing this.

i was a year younger than you, i played it a year or something after release and the setting and videogame was punching above it's weight class as far as it comes to worldbuilding and storytelling for sure
I remember when I first got my Xbox 360 back in 2006, this was the first game I played and it was the best experience I ever had at that time. Such an amazing game.

I’m aware this is the remastered version. But the original was amazing too, especially for the time. The chainsaw blood was a brighter red, which was cool!
i believe this series came out during a special time during the tech boom when the biggest changes happened in quick succession for technology. The difference between each installment was nuts and all in one generation. You don't normally see that kind of thing.

The game was never the same after he died
I remember playing the mission after his death and player 2 at that point becomes Stratton.. and that mission always felt so bleak to me. You mourn the loss with Marcus as player 1 walking around without Dom and 2 just by not being able to play as him anymore.
Gears of War is and will always be my favorite game ever. I played this game at an age where I shouldn’t have, and I would spend HOURS playing this series. My love for this game is really unrivaled and General RAAM is a BEAST. Please keep doing this series Hollow!! It is amazing ❤️

The first game can feel a bit rough at times but Gears 2, 3, 4 and 5 are next level in my opinion. Especially in 2 in comparison to 1 they focus a lot on lore and story and making the gameplay smoother. Hope you continue this series, I absolutely love it

Gears has a special place in my heart I’d love to see a series on this game because it was one of the games that brought me into gaming.

My younger brother and I would immerse ourselves in these games, engaging in cooperative mode to conquer their campaigns and of course multiplayer. My best friend who passed away in 2019 him and I played this game religiously... some of my greatest memories with him was with GOW. He ended up being one of the top 100 players in the world at one point.
Childhood favorite of mine, glad to see you playing it again. Glad my parents let me play this, even when I was 5 yrs old. First game I ever played was this. Gears 2 though will always be my favorite game, not because I think its the best game ever made but simply because of the influence it had on me a child, with the story and concepts the game presented. I also love how scary this game is out of the Gears games, had to get my parents to fight the berserkers and coarser when I was young XD. Would trade the world to experience it all again without remembering what happens. Well if I ever get dementia which is my worst fear I think, at least I might be able to enjoy it as much as I did again. Because that the only way I'm gonna be able to forget anything about the Gears of War games so I can enjoy them properly again. I've played them soo many times over and over that I can remember them off by heart. Can play the campaign in my head XD.

I had so much fun playing this back in the day when it was released back in 2006. The cutscenes and added gameplay to this version of Gears 1 is definitely a vast improvement over the original.

This game made me turn the home office into a little man cave. I remember buying a 55 inch flat screen, speakers, Xbox 360 with Gears of War, leather loveseat couch with the mini fridge on the side. I love this game so much.
The gears of War franchise was the only reason I brought a Xbox one. I loved gears 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5s campaign. But I traded my Xbox one for a ps4 back then. Gears of War is the only 1st party Xbox franchise that intrested me

this is also a graphically upgraded version that came out in 2015, if you wanna see the the original from 2006-7 just search it up
Matt Reeves should direct a gow franchise. Just like the trilogy planet of the apes and soon the fourth movie comes out. I really believe he could do a great job on this one too. The stories are quite similar. The characters, the gore and the visuals. He’s the perfect director and writer to get a script for this vision.

In case that you don’t know the ultimate edition is a remastered version that they released on the Xbox One console era that’s why it still look good up to this date but is sad that they didn’t remastered 2 and 3

I always love when people go back and return to play Gears of War. This game was THE game where I started to broaden the genres that I played and I firmly believe I would have missed out on some amazing games if I hadn't played it and loved it.

I was in elementary playing this game and I simply could not get through the berserker mission without being absolutely terrified. Gears 1 & 2 are God tier games.

The initial Gears of War was a masterpiece. it even worked great on the PC.
Shame they don’t do a mcc type game of gears of war 1 to 3 so pc players can get 2 and 3 and we could have cross play so the game wouldn’t die after a decade
