Going forward, the quality of video and photos is not bad, it's really a revolution, not otherwise. And a serious competitor for IPhone with its ProRes and BlackMagic Camera. ● When viewing DNG files from Motioncam Pro in RAW video mode, I noticed quite a bit of compression in Adobe lightroom. In the settings I enabled uncompressed DNG, also in the camera item I compared Sensor RAW10 and just RAW_Sensor. It was in both cases. Initially I thought I was getting RAW in full quality and hoped it would be without any compression. I was also a bit confused by the size of the DNG files themselves (They are quite small, although they should be bigger even for 10 bit), and as it turned out there is a reason for that, I realized it later. In general, I understand, perhaps it is a matter of optimization, so that the smartphone hardware physically had time to save at least something at this speed. But if there was no compression, it would be difficult to save and digest it all. Could you please clarify that for me? Thank you.
why should it? and why only for pixels? And google wouldn't be able make this app work better with pixel, you won't gain more control or better image quality(since it already gains everything straight from the picture) Google could do this with their phones already now but it will not make sense for avarage day user cause they want point and shoot without any post production and high file sizes
Motioncam provides unmatched quality, ❤❤❤❤. But i think there are some areas should be improved : The user interface it's quite busy and take time to understand for an avarage person , i believe one day it will be more fun and friendly than the default native camera app. ❤❤❤. And the Stabilisation is a major part which should be improved. Thank for the unmatched quality you are providing ❤❤.
In daylight both are very comparable. Apple Log is an easier workflow compared to recording log and transcoding in MotionCam Log. But MotionCam really sbines in the low ligt comparisons! It's not overly mushy. I guess that is the benefit of not having to denoise in real-time? The transcoded mc log is 10bit 4:2:0 right? Vs 4:2:2 from Apple Log?
