Its wild that even with all the nonsense that Samsung does to handicap their phones, it still manages to beat the iPhone. I really hope Samsung wakes up and lets us actually use the stuff we paid for.
I actually burst out laughing reading this comment. But you're right, I don't know why on earth samsung would think it's a good idea to do half the stuff they do, like oversharpening their video or completely messing up raw photos on the s24 ultra. I'm hoping that the next major upcoming camera update fixes the nonsense.
They should allow raw videos by default. But with a 1inch sensor camera like the Xiaomi 14 Ultra you have the power of the S apdragon 8gen3 and Motiocam, a flawless combination. Raw videos with a 1 inch sensor are high level for smartphones. An iPhone will be left in the dust in comparison. Really looking forward to upgrading from my S21U in the next 1-2 years.@@adhityakissoon7091
@adhityakissoon7091 it's been like that forever though. And with the "Ai" enhanced images. It makes everything a grainy mess when zooming in on images. That's why I use GCam
@@Beteng_Q Example : My last dedicated camera was a Canon 5d mk ii running ML Raw. With my Gpixel 7 I was able to go shot for shot with my 5d mk ii in nearly half the situations. With MCRaw I started using my Gpixel 7 more for most of my carry shots and even some interviews which was crazy awkward but I made it happen. Brave choice? Yes. Did it work out as an impulse "We can do that interview now!" scenario? Also yes. And ever since then I have usually reached for my Gpixel 7 rather than my 5D mkii in more cases than I would like to count. I was going to slap MCRaw on Gpixel 8 Pro but this S24 going shot for shot and outpacing the Iphone 15 (which as of right now craps on my 5d mkii in terms of features) I would go full S24 rather than putting 3k into the Sony a7 S3 which itself is a beast of a camera. My normal shoots vs my I need to shoot this now situations is 50/50 and as of right now it looks like the S24 with MCRaw is covering both of them interms of portability/stability/Raw/pixels.
The comparison is good, but not comprehensive enough, does not reveal the full potential of the devices. Because the stabilization on iPhones is still more advanced. Also, switching between camera modules. And you can shoot on an iPhone immediately in social media applications - on androids it is better to shoot in your native camera, and then upload to social networks. In such scenarios, the iPhone is really more convenient. But for really serious tasks, the smartphone will still be mounted on a tripod, a gimbal or in a cage, and a microphone will be attached to it. The camera movements will be planned in advance, and the shooting will be performed not with the native camera app with crooked colors, but with a third-party app like Motioncam or mcpro24fps that allows you to adjust the white balance and control the rest of the parameters. However, my problem with this video is that it does not show the real potential of Androids. There are mostly daytime scenes, and all comparisons are shot with the main 23/24mm lenses. We did not see scenes shot with ultra-wide-angle lenses and telephoto lenses in this comparison. We also didn't see any night scenes. So, if some Oppo Find X6 Pro / X7 Ultra, Xiaomi 14 Ultra or Vivo X100 Ultra with fairly large sensors on ultrawide and telephoto lenses had participated in the comparison, then in scenes shot at night, the iPhone would have gone to chew dust, since in scenarios with low light levels, the crucial importance in the question of quality is how much light is collected, and this depends on how fast the lens is and how big the sensor is. Watching this comparison, iPhone fans will still say, "see there's not much difference, why bother". They should eat dust. iPhones are good but not divine like their fans like to believe. Next time PLEASE show stabilisation on iPhones. It's their clear advantage. And show lowlight power of Android flagships with bigger sensors on auxiliary lenses. That's their clear advantage.
yes but any serious video clips for good quality are never recorded using instagram or snapchat that makes no sense haha. If you're posting a random quick video the quality is enough-
Hello, MC is getting updated often, we made some important changes in the last beta soon to become production version, more info on our Discord. Thanks
s24U has bit more clarity and is overall the winner. iPhone 15 pro seems to be doing better than the previous model iphones in this MotionCam camera comparison which were horrible.
Really nice comparision. I use Iphone 15 promax with Apple Log, but I have to admit motion cam is better in term of video quality. The details when zooming in is clearly better in motion cam videos. How ever the color is a little bit distored in motion cam clips. There a lot of red and purple everywhere, especially in human skins. I don't know why 🤔

Motion cam with that. S24 is looking so good. I might have to start considering it instead of a Sony a7s3..... For an alternative main production cam

I would recommend getting Xiaomi 14 Ultra and root it to get 14 bit DCG
B cam maybe, but this is still nowhere near the capabilities of something like a full frame camera.
Brilliant. What's the 1st city?

Samsung has more noise but more details too. But I think both are great.
Which one has the best, most pleasing video image you think, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, or the S24 Ultra?
Depends on many aspects, more info you can find on our Discord

Nice! Strictly for video, the end result looks pretty comparable.

I'm working on a couple videos with the Pixel 8 Pro, though I'm not aiming to do a direct iPhone comparison.
I just tried it on my P8P and it's so freaking noisey and unusable.

In this case it could be due to 200Mp agrupations, the more pixels you have, the more things that could go wrong
