    Hey Parker I really like your videos,keep in mind Chevelle SS396 are only designated 138 from 66 to 68 ,69 and up are 136 with SS option no longer its own model,also 69 Z28 production was 20,302 not 12,000 thanks man

    I think you can confirm that that tag came off of a real Z/28, but once its been removed it creates doubt. I would be suspect of any car that had anything other than factory rivets. Nice stash of cars, though.

      I have no idea why anyone would even remove the cowl tag. I have painted hundreds of cars from color changes to restorations, and I have never needed to remove the tag.

      My tag was severely damaged when it was sand blasted before the restoration. 😢 maybe that’s why it was removed.

    It is really a shame that the cars were stacked and that they were left to rot in the open.

    Parker I believe that the Camaros and Chevelles with the 396 engines 325 and 350 HP had the return lines. Only the 375 HP had the single line. I had a 69 RS/SS 396 325 HP all original.

    69 camaro with a black tail panel had big blocks 396 . NOR on the cowl tag indicates that the car was manufactured at the Norwalk Ohio GM Plant . some Z/28s were coded x33 also

    Cool Video Parker. 138 SS Chevelles stopped in 1968. Just me but I would be very skeptical of any 69 z28 with a cowl tag that had been removed. Them cars are so valuable that a messed with cowl will always hold down the value. That car is still very desirable just will take the right person to buy it. Have a good one Buddy 👍

      at 6:43 info - about 3600 1969 Z11's (convertibles) were built compared to about 200 1969 Z10's (hard tops) were built. Also, the Z10's were delivered to Dealerships in the North Texas & Oklahoma areas. The Z11's were delivered mainly to the "MIDWEST" Dealerships.-FYI

    I don't need any parts YET. I'm sandblasting the rims for my 69 Z/28, which has been sitting in my dad's shed since the 80's and need to inspect the engine entirely. I would like an analog clock on my dashboard at some point in time 😊

    Hi Parker I enjoyed your video, would like to see more. Seeing you walk through that junk yard reminds me of me when I was a kid going through junk yard after junk yard trying to find parts for my first car. 1967 camaro. I bought it when I was 15 in 1980, I gave $400. But then I ran across a1969 rs. I gave $1400 quite my job at my brother's body shop and worked on it for two weeks just to be able to drive it across the gno bridge in new Orleans, it took 2 hours to get it to the house in bumper to bumper traffic. I was a nervous wreck when I finally got it to the house. I had both cars and didn't want to get rid of either one. Cause I had the 67 like show room. But I was in love with the 69. I found out we were moving to Mississippi and I couldn't bring both of them with me. So I sold the 67 but I still have the 69 plan on putting it back together very soon.my 69 was hugger originally orange with the blk vinyl halo top. Thanks again for the video.

    My buddy Brandons dad's has a Camaro pace car it took him a few years to complete it. I think it's just a clone butt it's really nice. I like this channel you sure do explain these Camaros in detail. I'm a big fan of Camaros butt my favorite car is the 66-72 Chevelles I Want to learn more about them. I had a 69 butt not anymore this kid was wasted and drove his truck into it over and over until it was destroyed. I'm definitely getting another one after I get my g body Buick on the road.

    I get that it's a junkyard but, what kind of fool stacks the cars on top of each other? If it was a rare model it would have more damage done to it then needed... The reverse lights were relocated on the RS option.

    In 1969 only big block Camaro's had the black paint on the back of the car. I'm still driving the 69 Camaro SS I bought back in 1974. Mine is a 350 car no black paint. Oh by the way Super Sports are Z-27's That was the option code. th-cam.com/video/0ISYuaUr0ME/w-d-xo.html

    Also starting In 71 you could get a small block SS chevelle. Even 2bbl 350s where available. From 69 to 71 it is very easy the clone a chevelle to a SS. That's why paper work is so important when buy one. There are clues to tell them apart but stating in 70 you could order a big Block a non SS car. So it makes more difficult. Sorry so long winded.

    • @edmundanderson657
      @edmundanderson657 ปีที่แล้ว

      69 you could get a 396 in a non SS car.
      Had a friend order all he could afford, figured he add things as he could afford to. 396, 12bolt open, auto on the column (think it was a glide) and drum brakes.
