I think a better choice would have been for them to share or turn off the SATA ports.
Agree with the first part, the second part is an impossibility. All z790 boards only have 16 pcie 5 lanes, they are all also taken up by your gpu unless ur sharing them. The manual of the asus extreme(page 13) literally shows the configurations with the gen 5 ssd installed. i have z690 tuf wifi plus which is already over built n plenty for i9 13900k
How do you tell if the mobo can support igpu or not.
It has a hdmi/display port on the board at the back, also the CPU is dependent of the CPU has onboard graphics then the HDMI/DP port will work. If Ur CPU does not have onboard graphics then the HDMI/DP port won't work
The motherboard will have a HDMI/DP port on the back. But if the CPU DOESN'T have onboard graphics then HDMI/DP on the motherboard wont work.
Love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
So that motherboard, combined with ROG MATRIX PLATINUM GEFORCE 4090 RTX means?????
where are the benchmarks mate?
Hello, hey, but do you think it will be useful for rendering engineering programs, such as Cst Studio, AUTOCAD, and also for games? Or is it important to have the igpu of the processor to perform these tasks?
see my reply on the top
Only 2 pcie sounds like a missed opportunity. Have 2 u. 2 cards and this won't work. If already it had u. 2 native connections, nope...
5 ddr slots??
Worst motherboard for creators.
Excellent info you have which i never heard from any TH-camrs. Not a single TH-camrs said that this motherboard don't have igpu support which is totally worst and like bummer.
kinda.... it's like putting a massive F1 engine on a Smart car, it's un drivable :)

Whats it missing?
iGPU output
The new RTX 4090 super duper super duper super duper ultra boost OC 🤣🤣
For this mobo with all those ssds you’ll need a threadripper cpu to have enough pcie lanes 😂😂
For me as an average Algerian watching a video of unboxing *MEG Z790 GODLIKE and RTX 4090 Supreme X* is like you Americans watching a video of unboxing a supercar 😅.
ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Extreme vs MSI MEG Z790 Godlike
Cheap ..?
Tech Godlike
5 ddr5 slots?
And did you keep the MB upside down?
DOES THIS APPLY TO THE 1400K HAVING NO VIDEO?
Welcome to $1000 club.
Why do they put so many m.2 slots when the 13th gen only supports 20 pci e lanes. Assuming the person buying this board will have a graphics card as well 🤷🏻♂️
Z790 chipset :)
@@theTechNotice but doesn’t the motherboard can do what the cpu supports? 🤔
Cries in mortar 😂
no care about creator features, only gaming!
Bro said cheap💀💀💀💀💀
Better off with an AM5 MSI X670e Ace ;)
I would like to see a build with this board
How do you know if the MB supports iGPU with power? I'm about to make an intel rig and would hate to find out later my iGPU isn't being used or powered.
Steve will say it's a affordable Motherboard
We need a i9 13900k + 4090 build with this MB 😅😅
Would this run Roblox?
trust me this will
Z690 Godlike : Psh, Z790 Godlike, 1199 dollar? cheap.
*Z690 Godlike cost like 2 grand*
Imagine if i bought motherboard 1200 usd because it have 6 m.2 slots 😂😂😂hi evga
So, if you remove shiny (useless) display, usb stick, put regular sata cables, and remove ridiculous metal backplate (in what conditions back of the motherboard require cooling 🤔) you'll get regular 500-600 € worth motherboard. Without iGPU support 😁
Ain't No Way This Exists.
yep.... :)
bro you uploaded this video a while ago but the moment i clicked it went pvt 🙄
I know, it had some audio issues and had to reupload... 😇😇
@@theTechNotice okay . okay. no issues 🙂
It’s not perfect. Some compromises were made and the price is not reasonable. No thank you.
Motherboard designers are really out of touch with reality. Why do they always stuff so many SATA ports on them? Who still uses SATA, especially someone who would spend $1200 on a motherboard... and who are the idiots who spend so much money, and how can I get in on the scam too?
Why do you talk in dollars? you should be proud to be British. There are loads of US reviewers, if your US audience want to watch your channel im sure they can work out to check their local stores for prices.
What is the Best Bang for Buck Motherboard for the i5-13600k ?
Goodness me GODLIKE ma ma gawwwwwd xD 🥴
To me there seems to be 4x ddr5 slots not 5x. LOL
Dude I’m not watching a 16min video
14:57 Z790 ACE is better lol
This is definitely overkill well for me don't about him though
Oh yeah definitely for me as well!
That board don't have 5 ram slot.
He is the worst lol
I was soo early to this vedio , it was set to private 😭
sorry bro, had some sound issues and had to reupload :)
same 🙄
@@theTechNotice Ah i see , understandable : ) , Great Work asusual !
Is this eatx motherboard
Yep
@@theTechNotice thanks for the reply back
@@theTechNotice I do have a question im using a b660m tomahawk wifi ddr4 how long should hold that for until I get a new cpu most likely 14gen mine is compatability for 13gen also
✌✌
✌️
What a waste of money.
At this point you can go for Asus strix z790 or maximus and a 4070ti
@@Jubayerandcatofficialit supports both.
800$ cheap?! Yea ok
Ok bad thing with igpu
