      I just realized that comment was not very clear. 😅
      It's the find x6 pro selfie camera that was max at 1080p previously but just got updated to 4K for it's selfie.

  • @d4ydr33m3r
    @d4ydr33m3r ปีที่แล้ว +19

    I have both, they are amazing camera setups.. I prefer X13U during the day with authentic Leica color science and that natural soft(er) rendering and Oppo Find X6 Pro during low light situations producing slightly cleaner images (the size of the tele sensor really come into play many times during these situations). But man oh man both of these smartphones are setting the bar. I had 14 Pro Max,I had S23Ultra none of these smartphones can reach the level of those two..
    As a daily driver X13U has me for now since I can use EU roms and Google Assistant/Android Auto but I always reach for my Oppo Find X6 Pro

    • @GeekCulture
      @GeekCulture  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yep both of these phones are setting the bar for sure.

    • @calden74
      @calden74 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I to had both, bought them at the same time to see which one I preferred. After a lot of testing and frankly playing, I fell in love with Xiaomi 13 Ultra, especially with the Camera kit as It gave me the ability to install a variety of filters. Even though I thought the Oppo did a better job with colours upon the initial shot, the Xiaomi could easily be edited post processing to achieve the same thing as was said in the video above. The real deciding factor for me however was the software, the Oppo is a China only phone, which means you have to install the Google Play Store separately and deal with all of the headaches that brings, as well as uninstall a caveat of Chinese apps that I or doubt anyone would ever use. The Xiaomi software is something I'm very used to as well do to the over over 20 phones I've owned from them over the years. Including the crazy ones like the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, the one with the wrap around display.
      Both phones are fantastic but my choice is the Xioami.

      Thats what i was thinking about with the oppo find x6 pro. The telephoto sensor is huge compared to any other phone. Also how is the battery lofe on xiaomi. I had s22u and now s23u and batteru life is pretty bad.

    Love the video. Finally an easy and clear distinctive comparison (all the comparison show that the Oppo should be better woth the colors, but doesnt show that clearly. On the backside video front, the autofocus problem on the Oppo is weird. Also the comparison is not really good because with the Xiaomi you have your face in the sun and with the Oppo yiu havent. But that round is definitely for the Xiaomi. The rest is for the Oppo, so I know now where I will save now for.

    Yeah both these phones and their respective brands showed APPLE & SAMSUNG they are not kings anymore.
    It's a shame for both these Ruling brands that they are hesitating/ not using best quality hardware ( big image sensors, Lense coatings ). And thereby they are not providing the customers, the best that they deserve, at the price they are paying for these brands.

    Xiaomi's Front facing camera sensor cannot record 4k. The sensor readout is too slow. It can handle 2.7k or 3k at max. Xiaomi could use this one and scale up just like Huawei does with their 8 MP sensors on the Mate X3. Quality wise it would be not a significant downgrade and will look better than FullHD only. But their front video is a bit weak in general also with HDR. I assume again the slow readout speed of the sensor is too blame here.
