    For me personally, Honor for speaker, Oppo low light everything, video and photos in good light any of the three they were all good at different things. So one has to pick what favours one's own needs I think I would choose the Oppo, 1st, Xiaomi and Honor joint second, but I would be happy with any of them really!

      @Musica-zp7zn ปีที่แล้ว

      If you take into the account you will use it mainly for video I would consider X13Pro only because of its 8K capability.. Sadly Oppo win while taking photos at low light.. so it's a trade off for me.. :(

    Any of those three would be a good choice, but I'm with Honor all the way. As an ex Huawei user and owning the Magic 4 pro, I just can't wait to get the Magic 5 pro. Video needs a bit of polishing, but the options are by far the best for vlogging (multi video, story), Log mode etc. Also wider field of view for selfie camera and it could go on. It's getting close to perfection, and having GSM now, it's a no contest in my biased book. Good job as always and keep it up !

    They all did great. In fact, all flagships in 2023 so far would be great for the average core user. Only semi-pro and pros will nitpick or shoot such difficult situations.
    For me, it comes down to other factors as to what would sway me one way or other. As all have SD8G2, similar battery life and performance, the significant questions are price and global release. As the OPPO is in China only, and there are all sorts of issues in Europe with OPPO, it leaves the Xiaomi 13Pro or Magic5 Pro. Pricewise Honor has just announced the pre-order price in the UK, and the early bird price is £850 with £500 worth of free gifts (wireless charger, buds, case, screen protector). That makes the decision very easy!

    • @Maochan81
      @Maochan81 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Have to agree. The xiaomi 13 pro is great, i like the Leica filters, but the price is way too high (1300 Eur). There was a smartwatch included at launch but Honor has a early bird price of 1049 Eur in Germany + Honor tablet worth 300 for 20 and 6 months of free screen repair.
      But then there's the Pixel 7 Pro, which is almost that good and can be had for 600-700 Eur. :)

    • @Techtablets

    • @andyH_England
      @andyH_England ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RB-mm7ce Nokia is trying to get them banned over a patent dispute. The patent agreement between Nokia and OPPO ended last year, and Nokia wanted more for the licenses than they charged before, and OPPO refused to be blackmailed. VIVO has also been told they must pay more for Nokia patents; hence the SD8G2 X90Pro+ is not coming to Europe, so VIVO is leaving the German market this year. It will go to court for arbitration, but Nokia is currently going to court to ban VIVO, One+ and OPPO to try and scare them into paying the extra fees. This may eventually spread to the EU if Nokia has its way.

    Here I leave my opinion about the best in Photos and why...
    Ultrawide: The Magic 5 Pro was better in details and colors, despite the oversharpenning, I say that because the ultrawide photo is not enlarged to analyze it at the pixel level... you look at the photo as a whole and there are the most beautiful colors, with details that impress. OBS: The Xiaomi was very flat, and the Oppo the photo was very hot and the sky was boring, especially on the horizon line.
    Zoom Lens (default): Honor, again the colors and details without zooming in too much stand out, perhaps because of the good contrast.
    Zoom Lens (10x): It would be Oppo, for having more details but it seems to be a little out of focus so Xiaomi takes the best, but by very little.
    Photo of the flower: The Honor was better, either for the colors showing the sunlight in them, or for the excellent HDR, in addition to the details that appear better in the photo as a whole, for not having a sensor as big as the other 2, and with this brings the whole flower into focus, but with a beautiful background blur because it has a sensor very close to 1"... so overall it was better, but the other 2 did very well too.
    On the boats, everything is very similar, a draw... on the front, despite the error in the glasses, the best portrait photo in terms of quality was the one from the Honor, while on the back it was the one from the Xiaomi, despite the warm tone on the girl's face drawing attention to Oppo... in the cat Xiaomi won, due to the precise focus.
    At night it only gave Oppo, with the best balance between colors, contrast, details... it doesn't lighten the scene much, but it highlights the details of objects in scenes with great HDR, even in the front it was the best of the 3.
    Conclusion: Honor caught my attention a lot, which was kind of sidelined due to the recently launched Oppo, which had much more highlights in the media due to the "3 main cameras", but I thought the Honor was excellent and I did not expect it, much less the Xiaomi who thought it would be well behind, but I believe it has improved a lot after the last update, and in the end, at least here, I think it was a draw.
    Congratulations to the channel for the best comparison between the 3 devices so far!

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the feedback! Yes the ultrawide from the Honor is great the colours are nice but even without cropping it's a little over sharpened I prefer the other twos approach.

    I'll leave my opinion on the best in Video and why...
    * Day and night front: Xiaomi
    * Main: During the day it would be the Honor if it weren't for the small stutters in the video, since it has a good HDR, being a middle ground between the contrast and excessive oversharpenning of the Oppo and the extreme saturation of the Xiaomi, but I think it would end up staying same with Xiaomi at least during the day, because, in addition to everything, Oppo has some problems with HDR and exposure too, however in 4k60 Oppo was better, because Xiaomi was very blue and saturated, and at night Oppo was too better, despite getting choked up several times in the video.
    * Ultrawide: Oppo, but the colors looked kind of fuzzy, like greenish in the example shown.
    * Audio: Oppo
    * Stabilization: Tie between Xiaomi and Oppo.
    In general, I think that the Oppo ends up being the most promising in video and of the 3 I think it has had the fewest corrections so far, and after some updates it could be even better... if it weren't for the surreal colors of Xiaomi, maybe it would take this one, therefore, it was behind Oppo by very little.
    I'll talk about the photos separately.

    Does Xiaomi offer wind filter on their photos app ? If yes, it make up for it's lack of wind filtering. Because other two phones were also filtering out the skateboard sound which may or may not be what you were looking for. For this reason it is better if they are giving you built in solution to post process and get rid of the wind noise.

    It's really hard to pick up a clear winner, because there's a mix of pros and cons with the cameras of all three phones...😅 4K for the front facing camera should be a standard nowadays for hi-end phones costing so much. A thing that really puzzled me, was the aggressive sharpness of the Honor in that portrait photo. So odd. Also the beauty mode activated even if you disable it on the Oppo, it was disappointing. A 1 inch sensor for portraits, produces amazing results! Also the wind filter for the mics should be a standard. I wonder whether phone companies will ever develop some kind of hardware fix for the mics, in order to filter the wind noise, just like has been done for the lens coating to filter the light reflections. Speaking of which, another standard feature missing in most of the hi-end phones. Zeiss rocks! Another thorough review, thanks Chris! I see many people are waiting for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra...😎

    Magic 5 Pro audio is the best, 0 wind noise but still perfect voice recording. 13 Pro is the wind noise champion, every single whoosh is recorded!

    Oppo overall personally, not enough in it to pick one phone over another on the basis of camera alone (unless you have a burning interest in a particular kind of shot that one is stronger in), so I'll take the Oppo which is the nicest phone design I've seen in a very, very long time. Any hot tips on best place to import one from to here in NZ?

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Try PBtech maybe? Or Trading Shenzhen is my spot to import phones (Link in description) One thing about the Oppo Find X6 Pro is currently it's a bit of a throttling mess if you do anything demanding. Loosing up to 65% performance doing anything demanding like video editing, gaming etc. I'm working on a general comparison with these 3 phones.

    • @NZtechfreak
      @NZtechfreak ปีที่แล้ว +1

    8K honestly for me I do not care about that on a phone, 15 minutes in terms of limits is surprising.... and for all these you will be perfectly happy with the performance I think, Xiaomi still has my preference though because of the more cinematic less bright look. the Oppo for me can be a bit too bright, so I always use the Authenthic mode.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I love the Leica Authentic mode myself. But since many claim it's better at low light I used vibrant indeed. 15 minute limit is odd as if the thermals of the sensor might not be able to handle much more? Very strange limit. If it was 8k30 I might understand that.

      Mentioned a few times which had the more correct true to life colour. Most of the time the Oppo did. Low light often the Honor.

      It's quite good yes, video needs a little bit of work with the judder. And portraits and night mode a little, but I love the shutter speed. Crazy fast and most shots look great.

    I really don't know how the Honor Magic 5 Pro ever got to rank 1 in DXOMark. The photos really aren't as great as one would expect. Not bad but not rank 1 worthy. In addition, I can always see a micro stuttering in the videos of the Honor. The recordings of the front camera of the Oppo are simply shit to say the least :D I would have expected a lot more from both devices.

      Yes not sure either it's a bit sus, I'm sure they have another "special firmware" The front camera has terrible focus issues with video with the Find X6 Pro.

    Magic 5 had video stutters and light sources pulsed wildly at night. I'm not impressed by these phones with the 1 inch sensors. Their software lets down their hardware. There's too much compromises with the software in these 1 inch sensor phones. We need to see this sensor in an iPhone or Galaxy or Pixel phone for it to get it's dues.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  ปีที่แล้ว

      Magic5 Pro video needs a lot of work the judders and exposure as you saw. S23U or iPhone for video are more rounded balanced phones.

  • @Sergekbtr

    X6 Pro - bad speakers, low quality vibration, bad selfie camera, but the best night pics, best portraits ever, video and overall stabilization. Xiaomi - the worst microphone in term of the wind, bad selfie camera in difficult condition, middle quality in comparing with the other flagship phones. Honor - good job with the colors, but very bad at night time. So actually the best phones now are S23 Ultra, Iphone 14 Pro/Max and Vivo X90 Pro+. Any comments on this?

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well Oppo X6 Pro for low light, Vivo X90 Pro+ low light. Video out of Android phones the S23U takes it. Front video is garbage with the Vivo and Oppo. Apple has really the best 4k60 video. I would have kept my X90 Pro+ but the rear video is always overexposed.

    • @Sergekbtr
      @Sergekbtr ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Techtablets Thanks for the comment. So I suppose among Vivo, Samsung and Iphone you would top S23 Ultra and Iphone, right? I mean overall best phone for you. The only thing that stops me to buy S23 Ultra is disability of doing portrait without "cartoonish" and filters. I mean comparing to Oppo for example that making a real good and realistic portraits.
