    What Does It Mean To Be INFJ?
    The INFJ personality type, commonly known as The Advocate or Counselor, is one of sixteen in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). INFJs account for about 1-3 percent of the population. If you get an INFJ personality type, it suggests you're introverted, intuitive, feeling, and judging. Dominant: Introverted Intuition is your primary cognitive function. Extroverted Feeling: Auxiliary Introverted Thinking (tertiary). Extroverted Sensing is inferior. The MBTI test was designed to help people understand their own communication styles and how they connect with others. Knowing your MBTI type can help you better understand your mental processes and behavior, as well as adjust your interpersonal approach to various situations and people.

      Wish you could share tips and small examples. I don’t want to misunderstand you.
      As for me, I’m studying humility. If I ultimately want to help people be their best selves, I need to learn the indirect approaches they might be open to. Or better yet, detachment from other peoples lives.
      Do you mostly only advocate for your close friends and family?

      @@tpb2665 in my experience taking people down a size is only something I do if it’s not gonna drain my energy and cause real conflict. For example if it’s a situation I can easily remove myself from and not deal with ever again: I.e. in college I wasn’t the most popular among the manipulative men who were trying to date me or my friends because they couldn’t lie to my face and I’d often call them out on it, then walk away. It was necessary for me to nip the situation in the bud quickly then to just not say anything at all because it was annoying to have them lie in our faces and think I (specifically, because infj’s hate when we feel like someone is dismissing us as a logical/intelligent human being to our faces) wasn’t smart enough to see right through them. I took great pleasure in popping their bubbles…

    I think people don't like me because they create an idea in their head about who I am because of my natural demeanour. kindness, happiness and confidence. They perceive me as weak and then they test the boundaries of human decency to see what they can get away with to break my carefree attitude. I'm considered Bipolar because I can switch immediately to someone who will speak their mind with brutal honesty if provoked to whoever wants to have a go. They feel threatened to be exposed as idiots for underestimating me, so they try to shame me or get me to react. But I never raise my voice and then they get frustrated that my head always stays high and jealous I can come out of the situation with grace.

    • @just.callmemack
      @just.callmemack ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yes people always fight me when I start to reveal my actual thoughts and attributes… they hate the fact they can’t figure me out and that I don’t trust them enough to share either… I also received so much hate when I can see clearly through people and their falsehoods college was hell for me when it came to making friends because no one could be around me because I made them uncomfortable with my honesty or refusal to just take what they give me at face value… I’m unimpressed by most things people would be impressed by so that was another thing… also could switch up on people so fast if I needed to protect myself from abuse that couldn’t be avoided… it also didn’t help that I actually do experience bpd/cyclothymia that I didn’t know about until my
      20s in therapy when I realized that my entire life I’ve been actively adapting to the natural ebb and flow of my own out of control behavior/thoughts that I legitimately cannot tolerate people who are inflexible with their thoughts and perceptions making me seem cold and very harsh to other people.

      It’s extremely frustrating because it happens with almost everyone, yet it’s almost completely 100% inside their heads only. It’s like they go out of their way to misunderstand me (or you) and maximize retardation while treating us with the minimal respect so any dignified person would not tolerate it, and then they try to make what 99% was entirely their fault into your fault. All of it is completely unnecessary and a huge retarded distraction.

      Me too: a target for bullies and toxic people. I agree 100% with this video and, although I hate to think that I cause envy, I am afraid this is the case. We have great honesty and integrity which few others today have and are bitterly resented for that. I am presently in survivor mode as it is still happening BUT this is who we are and personally, although difficult, my life would be even worse if I were not true to myself. Also, I actually feel sorry for those who attack me as I know I am better than that.

    Thank you SO much for this! I have had so many jobs for exactly this reason. It is incredibly hurtful being targeted when all you do is work hard and produce imppecable work. Never get recognized for my skills or contributions. Instead, I have to deal with horrible people and go through so much hurt, anguish, and having to yet again find a new job. You cannot defend yourself no matter what. My entire career--30 years--in law firms. These people have extremely sharp teeth and could not care less about affecting someone's livelihood. God forbid I should ever get a compliment!
