My GT500 Convoy to Las Vegas Didn't Go as Planned! TIRE BLOWOUT

- Trouble on the way to Las Vegas! We're taking my GT500 in a convoy with friends to the Shelby Takeover, however disaster strikes for @SpeedPhenom's 600LT and a total tire blowout along the way. It's then a catchup to join the Shelby mayhem on the Strip!
Kicking off at Ford of Upload, the day starts with the second oil change service for my Shelby GT500 now that it's at 6,000 miles, ahead of a trackday coming very soon. From there it's a convoy over to Las Vegas, joined by some friends including @JosephGattOfficial with his GT500, @SpeedPhenom in his 600LT, and the FSE LA guys also.
However, after a checkpoint stop at In N Out along the way (if you know, you know), things don't exactly go to plan when Speed Phenom's 600LT falls victim to a total loss of pressure in one of his rear tyres and has to immediately pull over. Thankfully, not too far behind us, the FSE LA Ferrari Pista is able to make a diversion to pick up a repair kit that after a bit of time at the side of the road is enough to get things back up and running, and on the road again to Las Vegas. In the meantime however, numerous of the Shelbys attending the Takeover also fly by - a pretty cool sight to see.
After sticking together at the side of the road, eventually we make it onwards to Las Vegas and ready for the cruise on the Strip with hundreds of Shelby models; GT350s and GT500s a plenty!

This is exactly what you don't want to happen on a convoy in the middle of nowhere; a blowout to the McLaren 600LT! Thankfully the FSE LA guys were able to save the day with a repair kit arriving by Ferrari Pista to get us back on the way to Vegas and joining in the Shelby Takeover!

@@jesuslopez0110 Petrol is a different form of oil to diesel. We use both in the UK but the gas term in the USA makes no sense for a liquid.

Despite the unfortunate blowout, that had to be an incredible experience driving through the desert and the valleys of the Rocky Mountains.
Everywhere we've driven in the US has been fantastic to be honest

Been a few years now, since I went to vegas, and I genuinely can't wait for the day I go back. We really didn't do much, we were spending the week in Arizona, but flew in and out of Vegas. Spent the afternoon/evening there before our flight out, which was delayed for like 6 hours

@@Sheridantank well, I’ve heard Shmee say “let’s head on out” or “let’s get on the road”... but “bounce” is much like the “hood/bonnet boot/trunk” differences in UK vs US references to things. If Shmee started referring to his friends as “homies” and “broskis” and started calling his cars “whips” it would be more of a surprise, but “bounce” is pretty funny if you’ve spent 8 years watching his videos and haven’t heard him say “bounce” yet. I’m assuming it’s the American influence that’s common with a long stay in a different country. It may even be intentional, since he’s been saying “hood” and “trunk”, too. So, sorry I found it funny and felt the need to comment. Hope it didn’t trigger you too much.

It probably has something to do with American colors, Red, White and Blue...Toss in some Silver and Black...That sums up the most popular colors in the US.
Me personally, i'd want a dark moss green with black and white for highlights.
Another EPIC drive! How cool was that. Also nice to see people actually acting like human beings when a friend had a flat. Rather than say, "see you over there" and leave, you guys waited and helped. We need more of that. Also nice to see you got some "In N Out". I don't know Shmee, now you are going to be hooked and you can't get "In N Out" in the UK once you get those cravings for a Double Double., Fortunately for me I have one close to where I live. Shmee when the tours done would you make a video of how much it cost to travel through the states as this would be interesting like fuel costs and staying at hotels and stuff anyways loving the content
It's significantly cheaper than doing it in Europe that's for sure, but quite hard to individual price up

These are my favorite VLOGS, Schmee cranks them out day after day. Also I like when he starts talking American, saying "lets bounce" or "we need gas".. We will make him an American whether he likes it or not. Would be cool to see these type of in depth vlogs in other countries also.

Reminds me of my drive down to Las Vegas from Canada in my C63S Coupe with dad! Epic drive, especially through Red Rock canyon and Mesquite. Wheels turned red but totally worth it. Be careful on the oily tarmac of Las Vegas roads!
Scenery looks beautiful. Im more than a bit jealous shmee enjoy it for us who are awaiting our first adventure oversees for a while

i used that gel stuff and lasted for 2 years lol - you are supposed to jack up car - fill tyre with goo while its jacked up spin wheel , then drive immediately (but don't forget to put car back on the ground ) THEN pull over and check for pressure lol
