Can I ask what size engine you have? The title shows you are installing a 2.8L M50 Manifold, but it doesn't say what you are replacing. I have a Z3 2000 2.3 liter M5TUB25 engine and wonder if the same intake you used would fit my engine or if I would have to get another one? Thanks.
@@davinsrandom3142 From others who made the upgrade reported loss of torque on the low end or the RPM band, however once the flashed the car with a software update, they recovered the torque, but they never mention how much of it was recovered 50%, 100% its the part they all forget to mention. I had the V10 M5 and it went to 60 so fast I could never really enjoy it, would never dream of red lining every gear, would smash up bumpers in front of me, very impractical. The Z3 2.5 I have hits the sweet spot just right, I can nearly redline every shift, which it loves, still feel the car pull strongly and yet still end up not going a zillion miles an hour. So I am not looking for a substantial upgrade in power some days I think even a little would mess it up. So a loss in torque would be unacceptable to me no matter how much I gained at the top end. But that's just my personal preference. If you end up flashing yours, please report better than most on the low end torque situation.
@@31acruz The loss of torque is minimal. Like 10lbs at 2000 rpm but the power you gain at the top end is huge. I installed a conforti shark tune. it took care of it but I am going to have the ecu fine tuned in the future.

@@davinsrandom3142 Thank you.
Thinking you are going to make 40 more HP is very optimistic. It's more like 10 to 15 more hp maybe 20.
It's probably 30 more hp from what I see with these
