Hey my fuel rail caught on fire and burned the rail, and harness connecting fuel rail. The connecting sensors and vacuumed lines got ruined. Do you know where i can get new lines and how to i splice them in?
I've did a ccv delete and oil catch conversion and totally forgot about the two hoses that attach to the throttle body and have no idea where those hoses go.
Thanks for the video. Much appreciated. I have a 95 525i M50 W/Vanos 5 Speed. I'm trying to remove my bad starter. I am trying to remove the injectors' electric harness. It seems there are clips holding the three center connections to the injector electric connection. I can pull up on the harness from the outside connections and they pop right up but, in the center, the won't budge. I don't want to yank that harness off and destroy the plastics. Are there clips that hold the electric plastic connections to the injectors? When I look under the electric harness, I see clips on three injectors (i'm not talking about the clips that fasten the fuel rail to the injectors). If there are clips that fasten the electric harness to the injectors, how in the world do I pull out those clips?? It seems impossible. Thanks!
i wasnt aware of this upgrade for this manifold, but if yall got the injectors off please rebuild them check us out for rebuild kits or fuel injector upgrades, only Genuine Bosch BMW parts www.injectorplanet.com/collections/bmw-fuel-injectors thank you -Bryan
I hear that if your car has the M52TU engine, you can do a manifold swap with the M54 manifold for more power, as with this swap. Do you know how effective this is?
hey Nathan i have this problem whit my 1997 528i BMW , I drove the car from Ohio to buffalo new york then another six hours to new york city no sign of overheating the following day I start the car up in new york city and it's overheating like crazy I add antifreeze and play around whit the hose and bleeder valve I get it to calm down . The other day I drove it back all to jersey pensivenya and back to Ohio no sign of overheating on that journey I was traveling from new york 1;30 pm I finally reach home in Ohio 3;30 am and the following day the car start overheating like crazy do you av any suggestion Nathan?
Thanks for posting e36 videos. i have an oil leak on my m52 engine and that i can't figure out where it's leaking. No leaks from the valve cover head gasket and i changed the oil filter housing gasket. so where else could it be leaking? the oil is leaking toward the back of the engine and drips off the oil pan area. the oil leak stops when engine is not on. please recommend where else i could look for leaks thanks
+Mazda Rx7 FD 1993 are you sure it's not a problem with the ccv line going to the dipstick, also are you sure the valve cover is not cracked? Worst case it's the rear Main but that is really uncommon
Wikto no it had a crack in from the guy I got the engine from. When i tightend it down it snapped off. I'm also looking for a sump. I want to install it in my mustang but the sump bowl is sitting on then cross member.. But no cash for a sump right now. The Scrapyard's want R3000 for one 525i sump. I can buy a whole 525i without papers for R7000. I did get a camshaft but the guy sent menthe exhaust cam instead. But I can't get hold of him lol. Trying to get work overseas is taking priority now.
I broke mine trying to install it, And what made it worse is that I have an NV motor so it was a pain tracking down an NV intake camshaft. I eventually found one, however, it was $100
You have it backwards m50 intake manifold is the better performance then the m52, that's why m52 guys swap to the m50 intake mani
He knows this.
That's why he's stripping this car, for parts, and the M50 manifold is up for grabs for a M52.
Does taking off the plastic expose the hose that always breaks in the back I have a coolant leak
Hi Nathan bro...i have an 328 with m50 manifold, but i have problems with pcv, can i delete the pcv with no problems?

+Mazda Rx7 FD 1993 if it's on the drive side it's prob the dipstick o-ring
The oil dipstick looks dry. Could it be my rear main seal since my car is a m3 manual?

I have the oil catch can. Valve cover is completely dry all the way around.
Rear main seal
I want a intake cam shaft. Mine broke.
Installed it wrong?

Lol u know m50 intake manifolds are better than the m52 ones right
Yeah m50 manifold gives 40% more air to each cylinder
CLEAN THAT THING PLZ OMG
where would you even begin? :DDD damn that thing is dirty
You're wrong, three screws period
very dirty
