Ever since 2011’s Thor introduced us to the Tesseract, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been building towards its grand Infinity Stone- fueled climax in Avengers: Endgame. We didn’t know it then, but the Tesseract was our first introduction to an Infinity Stone. Ever since then, Infinity Stones have popped up all over the MCU. While they often seemed like MacGuffins whose job was simply to keep the plot going, they turned out to be so much more. The Infinity Stones are ancient objects imbued with remarkable power. When they’re brought together, as Thanos does in Avengers 3, their power is pretty much limitless. Are some of the stones more powerful than the others though? While all six Stones are supposed to be equal, if their depiction in the MCU is any indication, there are some Stones that seem to grant more powers than others. In this video we’re exploring the evidence from the Stones’ appearances in the MCU and teasing out which ones appear to be the most powerful in the movies. While each Stone is remarkable in its own right, as everyone from Captain America to the Guardians of the Galaxy have discovered, there are clues that suggest the MCU considers one more important than the rest. @@lukebas1162 True, however, i believe that the mind stone doesn't have the sheer power to destroy a planet in seconds in the same way and also the process of destroying a planet manually with whatever means the minds stone's intel suggests would most likely be slower than just using the power stone (this is all my opinion, this is a not very accurate source).

The Mind Stone is powerful, sure, but I think the Time Stone is the most powerful, since completely stopping time is surely one of, if not the most OP thing in the MCU. If Dr Strange had done that, he could‘ve taken all the stones from Thanos and encountered no resistance. Sure, it comes with risks like branching timelines, accidental time loops, etc, but Time is definitely the most powerful element. Also, we now know that the Mind Stone didn‘t give Wanda her powers, it just enhanced them. She was already the Scarlet Witch before coming into contact with the stone.

Stones can’t be used against each other, it would be an equal fight. Plus the reality stones power is affected by its user- the more powerful they r the more the user can change. The reality stone does change real reality ( for example if I were to use it to change an apple into a potato, it would chemically change into a potato) however, the object or area being manipulated can be reverted back. When the guardians go to knowwhere thanos does change the actual matter of the place- if it was a hologram the quatrains would have felt the fire and damage everywhere. The illusions that the reality stone makes is only permanent if the user wants it to be, when drax and mantis got hit by a blast by thanos he didn’t make it permanent and only did it for the time being to not get distracted. And the reason for them reverting back is bcos the reality stones power wasn’t focused on them anymore so they were fine. It’s also about concentration, a stones abilities can only be used if you clench your fist and *think* about what you want to do- thanos had his fist clenched so the reality stayed on. We actually see this idea in Doctor Strange, when he first tests the time stone on the Apple ( going backwards and forwards ) he reverts it back whole, however when Wong sees him and is spooked you can actually see the Apple revert from whole to how it was when Dr strange was eating it- so the stones powers are only permanent if the user wishes them to be and the stones abilities can only be used if the user is concentrated and knows what they r doing.

Each of the stone is the most powerful in their aspect....you cannot compare between an engineer and a doctor because both are important....likewise....all stones are equally important and powerful.
But if you have the time stone you can render all the others useless by rewinding them. We don't know the true extent of it's power but it might be able to rewind the other stones to the point they never existed.
If you reversed THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE (as a group) you would also reverse your own existence, and without the infinite mind power that the mind stone grants you you would not be able to comprehend all the objects in the universe so that you could be excluded from that group; like the man said all the stones have their own purpose and excel at their own task and are equally powerful.

Space Stone can do more than just transport people.
It can create shields, create black holes, constrict/manipulate matter, and can trap power than reverse it on the opponent.

Ex 1.) When Scarlet Witch blasts Thanos with beams, he uses a Space Stone Shield.
Ex 2.) If given enough power, the space stone can warp space into a black hole.
Ex. 3.) When Thanos crushes War Machines Armor with the Space Stone.
Ex. 4.) When Doctor Strange uses the mirror dimension, but Thanos destroys it with the power stone, then trapping everything inside the power of the Space Stone and firing it right back at Strange.

ReAllY😵 why mind stone at 1st place, I have few very strong reasons NoT put *mind stone* on 1st place;
1.) Loki was sent by Thanos to invade New York with *mind stone* to bring him the tessaract, If Thanos would have any stronger stone, he would not have handled him to the Lord of mischief.
2.) Though *mind stone* is an infinity stone, still wanda manages to break it just by one hand.
3.) In Infinity war, Thanos came for the *mind stone* at the last, after he collected all the other stones, it cleary shows that it has the least priority for him.
4.) Abilities of *mind stone:*
• You can shoot laser beams
• You can paas through objects
• You can temporarily control someone's mind
• *You can fly* (literally 😂😅)
I think passing through objects may just be Visions power, not the stone, however I may be wrong

In my opinion, I feel like the mind stone and time stone share a similar level of power
The mind stone allows you to control people's minds, which is a pretty huge thing, but with the time stone, you're basically invincible as long as you don't instantly get vaporised, for example, if you get stabbed you can just go back in time and expect the stab. You can also see the future in case you instantly die
If this 2 stones are paired together, it'll be almost impossible to take a person with them down

Time Stone: Places Dormammu into a stale mate position, where he has to agree to Dr Strange's demands, or face the possibility of an endless time loop, one of which he can't win, even within his own dimension. For anyone who doesn't know about Dormammu, he's the most powerful villain in the MCU to date. We're talking beyond god like powers.

The Dark Dimension of Dormamu isn't affected by time, so Dormamu was capable of remembering the previous loops. If Strange tried it outside of the Dark Dimension, everything would loop with him.
I've got some theories that might contradict you in first place...
1. Stones can't be measure on power, but in capability.
2. The mind stone is indeed one of the mightiest of them all, but not because it controls minds, but because it is connected to the rest of the gems.
Evidence: It gave Wanda part of the reality stone's power and Quicksilver part of the space stone, the same with vision, it gave him part of power and space too (that's why he can phase, remember how Thanos trapped the hulk buster armor being used by Banner on apparently a huge rock behind him in Infinity War)
So you might be asking, why is Captain Marvel abble to shot so powerful blasts? Well, the tesseract didn't gave Carol Danvers power, but the ability to absorb it from nearby power sources (which explains why the ship in which Carol was trapped in started to have little brownouts while she broke free) so that actually tells us that the space stone can not only transport objects but energy too!

I don't really think you can compare stones to each other. They all serve their individual purpose and are infinitely powerful in that purpose. Even though the raw power of the stones can be used for other means (space stone in creating energy weapons), their true power lies in their respective names.
This is the most accurate reply. You are talking about an infinity graph with 6 infinite dimensions. No one is more powerful than the other.

Note that the power stone addresses Infinite power exerted in the *physical* dimension. It means control over all the matter and energy in the universe.
But this is distinct from spiritual power -> soul stone
Or mental power -> mind stone.
Or mystical power -> reality stone.
It is also distinct from power over space -> space stone
or time...time stone, which are neither matter nor energy.
Again there are 6 vectors extending in different dimensions and with infinite length. So one cannot be ‘greater’ than the other.

Pietro:For him, time moves slower (Time Stone) and maybe one could make an argument that he has the powers of the space stone
Wanda:Originally, she has Telekinesis (Power Stones) and Telepathy (Mind Stone) but later as the Scarlet Witch was able to teleport (Space Stone), time travel (time stone), bend reality (reality stone) and has soul powers (soul stone)

Infinity stones are more powerful than it show in here, they even have other types of uses than their specific power like the tesseract it emit unlimited amount of energy, the mind stone it can create new reality just like in the wandavision and can shoot laser beam. All of their powers are balance it just they didn't really show the full capabilities of the stones in the movie.
Wanda actually has the tiniest fraction of the reality Stones true power when you compare it with the other Stones it's kind of weak but when you add on the power Stone to it it becomes something that can alter everything in the universe permanently so personally the reality stone is the strongest just because if you get it and the Power Stone you already have the complete power of all of the other stones and you can make duplicate other stones personally it's the best

Also the mind stone is theorized to have been acquired and used by Odin long before Thanos, and it helped to give Thor and Loki their powers as well as Odin and even helped to create Asgardian weapons.

Some say that, the Powerstone itself.. it doesn't generate any other effects beside it's own nature abilities just to destroy matters (especially organic living beings)(or so they said : to enchant the rest of the 5 stones) but imo, it's just still utterly useless for such cosmic moments.

EX.
1. For Pietro it clearly gave him space stone abilities.
2. For Wanda it gave her Reality warping abilities from the Reality stone.

Mind stone should be the second most “powerful”. Because the time stone, as you said, can rewind time. And you can use the time, to get all the stone before anybody else, and easily find them.

It literally doesn't matter because if you try stop someone with the reality stone they just kill you, doesn't matter if you are only temporarily dead, they can just kill you and walk away. How are you going to stop someone who won't actually let you kill them?

1. Time - the ability to control time already is a very powerful ability but the versatility the stone shows when it comes to time control is what makes it the most powerful infinity stone
2. Reality - While the reality stones effect seem to not be permanent, it has the ability to create matter from nothing and its very versatile
3. Space - power transference, turning matter into a black hole, telekinesis, turning things intangible, and teleportation, all these abilities make it very versatile and powerful
4. Mind - power transference and energy blasts is really its best feat but for mind control its pretty weak from what we've seen
5. Power - while able to destroy moons,planets, and even dimensional openings, its not versatile enough
6. Soul - the only power we have seen is entering the soul stone and manipulate souls and while manipulating souls is very powerful we only seen 1 instance and it was not very impressive
The Effect of the Reality Stone can be permanent. But Thanos didn't want to. For example Malekith tried to destroy the hole universe and create a new one with the Reality stone and this would have been permanent.

The mind stone didn't give the twins their powers it awakened their mutant gene by playing mind games with them. Cause mutant genes activate by the person experiencing very traumatic emotions.
Correct me if I'm mistaken, but is it confirmed yet that they are actually mutants? It is said that Wanda was born a witch and the mind stone only enhanced her power, but it doesn't explain how Pietro got his super speed. One of the theories is that Wanda unconsciously gave him his power when they were young.

Stone rankings at their maximum capabilities
1. Reality (You can literally make reality whatever you want. The possibilties are endless with this stone )
2. Time (Having complete control over time allows you to do whatever you want basically)
3. Soul (Having control over all life to ever exist is ridiculously powerful but the Reality and Times stones have more capabilties)
4. Mind (The ability to controls peoples minds is very powerful obviously but it simply isn't as powerful as the 3 above it)
5. Power (Noticably weaker than the 4 above it. It's best ability is to enhance the other stones)
6. Space (I think this is by far the weakest stone, it's main purpose is transportation)
The limitation of the reality stone is that it probably can't change space and time. (Because those are obviously in the domain of space stone and time stone)
It can only create, destroy and alter matter. Stuff like atoms. It won't be able to pull of teleportation, but you could create the place you wanted to be in right where you are. It can't reverse time, but you could recreate a dead person. It's not exactly that dead person, just one who behaves exactly like the one. A copy, not an undo. Reality stone makes you feel like you are fooling yourself. Because its not the real thing.
A cool thing is, you could prolly pair the soul stone with the reality stone, to remake the body of a dead person and then load the soul of the body using the soul stone. But with time stone you could get to do the same task in one swift move.
The Time Stone seems the most powerful to me thanks to its time rewinding power allowing you to reset any problems you encounter as Dr Strange demonstrates. However, what happens if you rewind time to before you get the Time Stone?? Do you still have it in your possession?? In this case it doesn’t only rewind time, it also creates an alternative timeline thus stepping on the powers of the Reality Stone.

The reality stone is the most powerful stone, you can literally reshape reality to what you want. Even a time loop can’t beat the reality stone, the user can just remove the time stone from the reality. There’s no way to beat someone with the reality stone if they’re using it the right way. They can make themselves invincible and give themselves planet busting powers if they want.
It does not control reality it just makes figures and when Thanos came to take the reality Stone from The collector he used it to make the illusion and drax just came back him in Mathis after a chance for them to whatever he did transform them but they still came back they didn't disappear in my mind the time stone is the most powerful because it trapped dormammu and he's an actual entity he's interdimensional and it reverse time so the limestone comes back division's head so Thanos can take it without the time Stone you couldn't have taken the mind stone. The stones all serves a different purpose, so there really isn't a way to showcase which is superior than the other. They are simply the best at doing their own job and you can only compare how useful they are to you.
You should reconsider the reality. Think about it. It controls matter and everything is matter. Something that thanos did in infinity war was he used the stone to turn stone into viscous bats. Imagine what you could do.
As shone in avengers 3, the Space Stone( my personal favorite) can also provide intangibility. In the same movie, Thanos uses the power stone to destroy Titan’s moon, and then use a strange blue light to bring the pieces closer and use them as a projectile, implying telekinesis is also a power of the Space Stone. I think it should have been higher on the list.

Actually Thanos never used the soul stone in the movies when he visited gamora as a child it was an effect of the snap.
He used it fighting with doctor strange in Titan. You can see that it starts to bright in one part of the battle.
