One of the only damn things I hated about the mcu. The infinity gems/stones/whichever you like can NOT be destroyed. Ever. Not without them destroying that aspect of the universe. Nor do they magically drain someone not powerful enough to wield them. They just dont work without either the knowledge to use one of them or at least the mind stone. You have that you can use any of them or all of them at will. The draining thing was an mcu creation.
