Mfs really sleep on Sasukes Susanoo like it was hinted at the whole show up to that point and Danzo was ready to kill Sasuke and he flipped the whole fight w his Susanoo. It also started Sasuke on his power hungry path and became the reason he got his EMS and eventually the Rinnegan.

The build-up and establishment of the 8 Gates, the names of his final moves, seeing Madara get damn near Blitzed and bleeding, plus the insane teamwork Minato, Lee, Gaara and Kakashi pulls off against Madara. Seeing what the transformation amounted to in the end is a little sad. But imho that doesnt take from everything else as to how fricking hype Guy opening the 8th Gate was. Its like saying Goku's SSJ Transformation means nothing since Frieza essentially got to live later on and completely powercliffs that transformation. People Glaze this moment because its unironically an amazing moment, just in the same way HOW PEOPLE LOVED Goku's SSJ and how its arguably the most iconic transformation regardless of the implications in the story afterwards.

Even as a kid, he had the potential to be STRONGER THAN HIS FATHER (father was trained by the god of martial arts and killed the LITERAL DEMON KING AS A CHILD btw) when he got angry. This whole time before the transformation, he didnt want to fight, even after cell was going for his family and friends. But when cell killed 16, an especially kind soul, he snapped. And everyone, especially his father, knew what was about to go down. That transformation told everyone that Cell had just woken the gentle giant, enraging one of the strongest characters in the entire show.

12:45 I dont think 6 paths was foreshadowed to the same extent that gohans infinite potential was. Dragonball really was all about the potential of the next generation and passing the torch. Goku was passed the torch by roshi and kami in dragonball and in z gohan was supposed to have the torch passed to him as well. The entire series had foreshadowing of gohans power from crippling raditz as an infant and beating on freiza as a kid. Cell was supposed to be the end of z, the ultimate villain made from the dna of all the previous enemies as well as allies. And gohans potential and ability to overcome allowed him to step out of his fathers shadow and surpass him while still being his fathers son. It was the peak of gohans character arc and the conclusion toriyama wanted.

SoSP was definitely cool & wrapped up his journey as a fighter and as a Jinchuriki but Gohan going SSJ2 proved that there truly was something beyond Super Saiyan. It had been talked about and we saw a glimpse with Super Vegeta & Trunks but Gohan going SSJ2 opened up to what lay ahead (Broly was really the only other one who can be credited for having that impact, definitely influenced Super)

if there is one transformation to give ssj1 a run for its money it's definitely guy's 8 gates. Something about being built up from the start and then finally seeing it goes so crazy. But ssj1 is hands down the best transformation

12:45 I dont think 6 paths was foreshadowed to the same extent that gohans infinite potential was. Dragonball really was all about the potential of the next generation and passing the torch. Goku was passed the torch by roshi and kami in dragonball and in z gohan was supposed to have the torch passed to him as well. The entire series had foreshadowing of gohans power from crippling raditz as an infant and beating on freiza as a kid. Cell was supposed to be the end of z, the ultimate villain made from the dna of all the previous enemies as well as allies. And gohans potential and ability to overcome allowed him to step out of his fathers shadow and surpass him while still being his fathers son. It was the peak of gohans character arc and the conclusion toriyama wanted.

When we saw sasuke’s susanoo…yea it was the first for him but we’ve seen one already at that point and knew the requirements to have one so it was only matter of Sasuke showing it off essentially we knew he had one unless you was just not paying attention to the story🤣. BUT SSJ3?!?!?! The one Goku spent like 5 actual minutes charging up for and having us on the edge of our seat for?!?!?! The FIRST TIME ssj3 was shown PERIOD?!?!?! The transformation that caused the actor to pass out irl?!?!?! I’m sorry, as someone who favors Naruto….thats just disrespectful to give that to Sasuke imma be a hunnid
Edit: plus we didn’t know super saiyan could even evolve beyond 2 at that point cuz going to 2 was already like “woah another one? There can’t be anymore after this” if you was a fan in real time, we had that vegeta effect when goku kept upgrading. SSJ2 Gohan definitely deserved that W against SoSP Naruto good pick. SoSP was definitely cool & wrapped up his journey as a fighter and as a Jinchuriki but Gohan going SSJ2 proved that there truly was something beyond Super Saiyan. It had been talked about and we saw a glimpse with Super Vegeta & Trunks but Gohan going SSJ2 opened up to what lay ahead (Broly was really the only other one who can be credited for having that impact, definitely influenced Super)
