I have done this is a variety of GT3RS including my current 992RS. The current car is simply unbelievable sticky and is just buillt for the Nordschleife. Was an unforgettable combination to do it.
Its driver dependent, the 991.2 GT3 RS was quicker round Anglesey coastal than the 992 GT3 RS on same tires and as tested by EVO. Its a great car but its also not the second coming either. 520 HP cars or similar rubber can deliver similar times - the 992 GT3 RS performs better on very fast circuits as downforce is proportional to velocity squared. Basic engineering. Moreover, the reported ring time took a long time, many attempts were made and in the end they waited till the optimal season, optimum time of day and optimum track temp to generate that time.
Good luck getting an allocation for one of these... Unless you're an established Porsche customer and owned numerous of their cars, then it won't happen.
O ford é muito mais difícil você adquirir um exemplar e será muito mais caro no futuro, sabendo que upgrade pro mustang haverá muitos até chegar o topo, o posche não tem mais nada a oferecer
I would and I grew up around Porsche cars everyday. 7500 people applied for the Ford, the truth is they're the same people that are going to be buying this as well. I also don't think you've actually shopped for a 2024 GT3 RS. They're selling north of 400K everywhere I look.
This video was so much fun to watch! Looked like it’s in fast forward at times even though I know it is not. He’s driving flat out at places I was braking when I drove the ‘Ring! Pure madness in the best pf ways!
They are litterally tens of 991 and 992 GT3 RS's about on any given sunny day when the track is open for tourist drives. My son then waits at the roundabout and asks for passenger laps to everyone passing by. He has so far been in a couple of 911 GT3 RS's, 2 M4's, an M3 E92 and even a Ferrari F8. Al for free 🙂. Paid taxi laps are around 300-500 euro I believe.
I found the driver to be excellent, the Porsche's rev counter never dropped below 6,000 rpm, always keeping the car at high revs to never lose the maximum power that the engine develops.
That monster seems to have very little hesitation when delivering power after brakes are released. When braking, the car has zero body roll. It never sounds like the engine has to work for acceleration, looks seamless. This is what I notice most when comparing it to the GTD. I like both cars and not a fanboy of either. I would be thrilled to own both or either.
It looks like a beautiful day to be on a track.the track days don't look the same, one track look like summer, one look like fall.that could make a big difference. We're is that 300 kilometers at🤔🤔
Exactly now take the driver that's in the Ford and put him in the Porsche and vice versa under the same conditions that would be an interesting study 😉
This really fired the fanboys up....on both sides! 😂🤣 The Porsche and the Ford are both amazing cars and we're fortunate that companies still build them. The children in the comments need to grow up and get out of their Mom's basement.
"SPORT Response Button In addition to choosing your preferred driving mode, the mode selector knob on the steering wheel features a button in the middle that engages 'SPORT Response.' This feature primes the engine and transmission for a surge of power and responsiveness for 20 seconds. Press this button for maximum performance if you need to overtake someone and want a little boost." From the Porsche website.
If this is fast what does the 2RS and the Manthey Racing packages on the 2 and 3 RS’s going to look like lap time wise. I’m sorry but that GTD lap time is impressive but there years behind Porsche that is unless Ford decide screw them let’s roll the new GT40 out round the ring to see how that goes.

Who in their right mind would pay $300k for a Ford, when you can have this?!? Amazing!

Lol you need to penny up to atleast $500,000 because you need to buy two more Porsche models before you can get your ford hater hands on a GT3RS😂😂

Is this upscaled from 360p?
Slower than the 2022 GT Black Series, as expected.
We're all in for a great battle. Enjoy it!
Have send four back out on nice day see how much better it can do
so this is the current generation GT3 RS which will be soon succeeded by the new one?

Ok … just a clarification for a GT3RS owner … in 0:54 what was that button!!! NOS?? 😅 , is it something I didn’t discover?!

Sooo much downforce. That shit was crazy!
