Hi Eddie! Finally made the Self-powered sander! Those little balls are really magnetic. I laid them on my table saw and couldn't pick them up, had to slide them off the edge! Naturally I used your carbide cutters to make it. Regards, Bill
Great info, Cap! By the way, I can speak for the carbide cutters. It made my buddy sick after he heard how much he overpaid! I have made a LOT of pens and the R2 cutter is perfect for them. Or just about aything else, for that matter. Also, they were at my house in about three days! I can't wait to get these bushings. I'm tired of burning my fingers.
Cap'n Eddie, you are still The Best Most Informative Overall Wood Shavin' video maker plus Money Savin' Big Guy out there --- Thanks! Long life happy retirement for you too. But it just does not appear that you are really fully retired yet.
Using the kit, Could I use a homemade sanding pads with a 1/4 inch hex shank like a screwdriver bit, or do the shafts have to be round? Great videos. Thanks.
What you showed in this video requires the purchase of two packages, is that correct? And what is the model number of the disc sander that you are inserting into the tool?
Cap,n Eddie, I made one of these sanders and am told it is the best invention since sliced bread, but I am having some trouble getting a good result. Can you do a video on hoe best to use it? Regards Steve
Hey Cap ... I'm thinking the Grizzly part number may have changed. Their current catalog shows that H2765 is a 1/8" Oval shaped rotary burrs that has a 1/8" shank. Looking through the catalog, part no. H2760 is 3/16" Ball shaped Rotary Burr that has a 1/4" shaft. Part no H2760 looks like the one you demo'd in the video. Gerry
Hey Capt. Maybe I am wrong but don't you need an oversized bearing for this? A 1/4" shaft of the bur will not fit into a 1/4 " ID bearing. You would have to reduce the shaft or find a slightly oversized bearing 3/8" or 32mm.
You tell 'em Captain ! Don't let 'the man' intimidate you ! Your "Dual-Angel Rotary Securement Handle" is the type of thing that guys have been doing since man invented tools ! BRAVO! { D.A.R.S.H. device ... You can have that one for free :) } I hope your retirement is agreeing with you & management :)

Exactly what I was just about to say.
+Stephen Ogle probably more concerned about his own job, importing the things from china
