Bishop turned Magento's power against him. There's not many mutants who are capable of beating Magento with his own powers, except Synch, Vulcan, Storm*, and Hope. Bishop, Rogue*, and Polaris will be close enough to beat Magento. Mimic is the only one whose not powerful enough to be competition against Magento.

I freaking loved Sebastian Shaw in first class and his power is one of my favorites. But after researching Darwin a bit there’s no way the attack he used would have killed him. Not saying he couldn’t kill him at all but the attack that was used is child’s play compared to what he can handle😂

You know I always wondered about what would happen in respect to a mutant like Rogue would his ability channel her power like he does other powers or would her ability absorb his like every one else she touches..........
Considering both of them basically absorb energy (in Rogue's case, life-force), I'd say it could go either or. Though probably Rogue would drain him. Honestly, I'm like to see if Bishop could learn from Rogue how to siphon energy from other people and gain their powers.
Which is why we knew Fox and possibly its directors were racist for killing off 3 black superheroes before they could truly shine. Darwin who could practically survive anything and everything, got killed in Xmen 1st class. Then in Days of Future Past, killed Storm and Bishop first.... THE MOTHER FUCKER WHO COULD ABSORB AND GROW STRONGER AS HE IS STRUCK. Storm can move and react lightning quick, and stay mobile while attacking... Im glad fox lost the rights and the director got screwed over

Sort of. Sébastien absorbs kinetic/ explosive energy, can store it to make himself super strong and nigh indestructible, and he can release it. Bishop absorbs all energy types, although kinetic is the hardest one for him (he went to shaw to learn how to do it better). If he absorbs more than one type of energy, he can combine it. When he releases energy it's 10x what he absorbs, and he can store it for a strength/defense boost, but it's not as good as Shaw's.
hated that 'Days of future past'movie so much.. making Bishop look so cool and picking a great actor for the role just to kill him off like a complete twet my most hated X film of all that overrated turd where all X-MEN where good only at DYING so insulting but anyway putting my deep hatred for that film aside, thank you all for continuing showing so much love care and awareness for my beautiful X people
