It's a shame the movies don't do him justice, where he essentially has telekenesis for metal objects. While still powerful, they even say he has "limits" in X-Men 3, when in reality, he doesn't. Never shows him interacting with the electromagnetic field at all. He's basically a God that controls one of the 4 fundamental forces of the Universe, with extreme precision. His whole "plastic jail" thing seems absurd considering he could conjure up electromagnetic energy as a weapon and to float, regardless of metal present.
Since your talking about how powerful magneto is, would you do a video about the history of rogue and magneto's relationship in the comics?? It would be interesting since they showed it on ep 2
There is some other TH-cam video from science engineers that stated Magneto has the literal power of a magnetar, a type of neutron star, in order to be able to lift that stadium in the movie Days of Future Past in the way he did with magnetism. They calculated it out with math.
It would’ve been cooler if you spoke more about his other magnetic feats like being able to manipulate the iron in your blood to completely take control of your body, the fact that he can speak to you telepathically without being a telepath using the magnetic force in your brain, his prowess over electromagnetic forces, being able to create force fields that can tank insane blasts of cosmic energy, etc
The weird thing is, Magneto is one of the few cases of Marvel showing restraint. Partial control of the electromagnetic force is just an insane power. For example, what would happen if Magneto picked up ball of iron and just crushed it? With enough electromagnetic force, he could just make black holes. And because small black holes kinda just fizzle out, he could make them with little risk to unintended targets. As far as I can tell, the only reason he doesn't just fight by putting temporary black holes in people's chest, is that he needs to be defeatable by other mutants who don't control one of the universes 4 fundamental forces. So he is just simply normally incapable producing that much force. Otherwise, I can't see any good reason why his powers couldn't achieve this.
It's crazy that Magneto in most iterations is basically nerfed so that plot can happen. Mastery over magnetism would effectively grant Magneto a nigh-unlimited list of powers: Illusion projection, invisibility, gravity manipulation, weather manipulation, electricity manipulation, suggestion, mood manipulation, the list goes on.

Upon entering the Earth's atmosphere he used the very same satellites to reverse the magnetic polarity of the ENTIRE planet; which caused global tidal waves, hurricanes, tornados, and also earthquakes globally. The destruction was catastrophic. He may be close to BEYOND Omega level threat.
What I instantly did like about him when I was a kid watching the animated show was that he don’t have to make a move to do anything, if he wanted to move instead of walking he just levitate and if he wanted to pick up something he just use his powers to bring it toward him, and that magnetic force around him like a sort of power shield protecting him was really cool , very disappointing when I saw it in the movies that he was just an old guy in a black coat and white hair, even if the actor was great but the god like aura of the character was not there

On a more impressive scale, he also stormed the heroes' base in Secret Wars by just...walking through it. Spider-Man tried to stop him, but the fight was so short it wasn't even on-screen; some other heroes arrived on the scene and Spidey was just trapped in a ball of metal and casually thrown at them. Even more impressive when you consider that earlier in that storyline, Spidey ran circles around the X-Men, back when the heroes weren't sure if they could all trust each other.
